Looks very professional and works smoothly.
Nice take on a classic old game (played the paper version thousands of times with my kids!) - well done!
Good work. For some reason it got stuck when trying to send 'I am' - even though I entered the pattern exactly (3 or 4 times)
Didn't really know what to do except kill all the locals with one key then get the amulet type thing. Looks like it could be good though - well done.
Hehe, well done.
Yes, definitely needs a list of words. Maybe each time you kill an alien you get shown/access to a new word?
This is a great little game, I really enjoyed it - well done!
Tiny bug still? I'm pretty sure I got the win message at 97/100 cured - was on 95 when I did the healing flash, curing 2 and leaving 3 on screen, next thing it was black screen with message.
Great game!
Something happened after I sorted the cards and put them in the punch card computer though - some text scrolled off the screen before I could read most of it, leaving me with a message (won't say what that was as it might be a spoiler). After that I couldn't enter any further commands.
Anyway, it was a great blast from the past and not too much verb guessing involved - well done!
Thanks - you can slow down the rate of spin with the down arrow (but it reduces the score too).
@nander thanks, you can slow down the rotation with the down arrow though
Thanks for all the kind comments :D
Almost everyone seems to have missed the point that you can slow down the rotation completely by pressing the down arrow - the instructions are on both screens but I obviously didn't make a good job of highlighting that fact.
With regard to knowing which ones you got right, these are named and shown in red/green on the final screen. I wanted to have a picture next to all of them but there wasn't room with the existing layout.
Hmmm, I killed the dog, the old man (by accident) and (eventually) the monster but the end game message is 'deathcount: 6'. Nice style and music... wish I'd known Love2D could be run as a web app!
Ran slower and slower then pretty much crashed my Linux PC (as if - this is Linux after all :P) but: music was atmospheric, graphics looked ok. Controls were very bad and collision detection wasn't good. You could achieve better results with a much lighter game framework. Nevertheless, not bad at all for 48 hours, keep going! :D
Crashes after displaying the resolution/quality dialog on Linux (Mint 17.2 64bit)
Tried the web version and it automatically went to full-screen, no problems there. Nice art style/concept and nice fading end (I lasted about 1.5 minutes lol).
Very good. Sometimes a spear doesn't launch from the soldiers hand, it launches from some other (previous?) position. I liked the super-spears idea, well done!
Haha, no idea what the multi-player is actually like but the invisibly-horsed chariot moves smoothly enough :D However, it's more like a dodgem car as it stands, you'd need a much bigger turning circle with a horse!
Drag card onto pigeon at bottom right then click a city. Bird flies to city, horse runs out, some stats change then pigeon is upside down. Confusing as Confucious, but it looks good, well done :D
I agree with SetTheBet - looks and sounds nice but needs some explanation. "A farm without sheeps is doomed" after all.
Doesn't seem to want to run for me in Firefox (desktop). Shame as it looks nice.
Smooth.
Nice idea but I found it too difficult even on noob level as the disks move at pretty much the same speed as the player. Could you give the player a slight time advantage that decreases with each level?
Great little game (you just need to stop the shield values going into negative numbers). Well done!
Good work. Played about 10 times, got stuck on a clear platform twice (as though there was an invisible obstacle) had to run back and forth and jump a bit to free-up the sprite. Found it a bit too difficult and not sure where it links in with the theme of Ancient Tech.
LoL, best game I've played so far, well done!
Very nice! A couple of times, I couldn't seem to get the second line to respond to my mouse-click to pick it up but might just be me. Nice sound/atmosphere too.
Your web link is an executable
'A and 'D' just result in running on the spot rather than moving left or right unless the backpack is used as well but there's no indication of how and when fuel will be replenished. With some tweaking I think this could be playable.
Hiding in the horse is a nice idea. Can't understand why he goes faster uphill towards the jumps though.
Yep, a really nice little game.
Good fun so far, well done.
404: Not found!
The idea is ok in principal but you need a better grasp of English if you're going to attempt what is essentially a text-based game in that language. It wasn't obvious that scrolling down was required when presented with the first screen.
