Great Game! i hope there'll be a Post-compo edition of some sort ;)
Thanks, guys!
ElectricSeagull: Oh, right. i forgot to tell people that. also, the reason the gun can fall off is actually a bug :P
mrexcessive: yeah, sorry about that. Google Drive hates me.
Played till it crashed.
I do "Like" the game... however, i don't think this game should be here. i see nothing but the name that connected with "Connected World", and that's violating a rule in the 48-hours compo.
Good job for the game!
Great game! love how there's many ways of telling the player the hole place.
Also, do you know how to do that glitching thing on the last level?
Great Concept, but the combination of the sound, the tight control, and hard-to-see world, this game isn't that great.
Great game! it's just sad that it's just multiplayer-only...
Puzzles that needs you to kill yourself. how rare is those type of game is?
There's a bug where some colony ships go far off and lost, never get back to the planet, but i like the game nonetheless!
"I'm in"
neat
Easy game. though a bit akward at transistioning between "screens".
I am a wimp, so i haven't actually finished the game.
I can see why it got some nice reviews though!
Some of the roads doesn't fit my pointer.
Easy to learn, easy to master. impossible to win.
The game itself is great, being the one that goes meta. but the game inside the game is kind of glitchy. it always stuck between walls, and sometimes touching the enemies doesn't kill you. Also, the boredom meter keeps filling even when i played the game. which make this game hard because the coins only gives so little "non-boredom".
This game is good, but needs balancing
quite hard to move around
Is pressing restart every time it get full nesscesary? because not everybody like backtracking
I can't start.
jk i know how.
That aside, good game! The only bug i found is when changing level, sometimes enemies spawn at you.
Is it just me or that it's play that slow?
Simple yet hard. i got 50 deaths reaching C1 before Ragequit.
it's quite hard, but fun, once you get the hang of it.
BTW, there's a mistypo on the "Default Enviromet" button. it should be "Default Enviroment". just saying.
Simple yet hard game.
Great game! but sometimes green doesn't have many Chromablock to Chromakill.
Great game! it's a bit repetitive, tho.
Is the transfer button didn't work or that i used it too much?
The only thing i don't like about this game is the odd controls. i died many times going to a pit while i want to go left.
Other than that, great job!
Well, i'll be honest; i don't know what the heck i'm supposed to do here.
Blow up some circly things with bomb, and then make a land out of it. then get out of resource and just stand there.
Well, that excalated quickly
oh my god this is way too much fun(ny)
Note; playing the game using a mouse might be a bit... unconventional.
Heh, i don't expect that the music got so much love. Thanks!
@Horsed yeah, sorry about that. I would like to add more features to the game, but i got hit by the deadline.
Possibly the best game i've played. hard but fun.
That was... an interesting game. although i must ask; what's the "Unconventional Weapon"? sorry if this sound stupid
Nice game. could be a lil too easy, though
Nice game. could see this get expanded upon.
I could see this idea expanded upon. The jumping phase is kinda too sensitive, though
Good god, i should've listened when you said "loud audio"
Interesting game, though the growing could be skipable, or at least faster.
Fantastic game! quite hard to control at first, but it gets easier. I also love the artstyle and music.
Good idea. text kinda hard to read though.
I don't know what the hell i just played
but i loved it
Although the graphics and music are amazing, the gameplay feels a little bit annoying. The gems sometimes spawn literally next to each other, or even right on the player, making an already-finnicky controls feels more frustating.
Also, i have played this several times and i'm *pretty* sure i've got the right gem in the right order (It's Red-Green-Blue, right?) yet the pyramid did not open. Is there something else i should've done?
Wow, not only you emulated the graphics and feeling of the old consoles, you emulated the hardness of those games as well! good job!
Sorry for not returning your comment earlier; it seems chrome doesn't support WebGL >.>
Anyway, the game's pretty simple and fun! juggling between lines and switches feels pretty fun and, later in the game, pretty hectic. The visuals, while pretty simple, is aestheticly pleasing.
Overall, a pretty well-made game! good job
Firstly, if you want to use Unity's Webpage, you could use Itch.io; You just need to register, upload your .unity3d fi;e, and boom.
Secondly, is it just me or is the music is *really* low? like, i have my computer at maximum volume, and i can only barely hear it
the game itself is pretty fun, though the timing could be loosened up a bit.
Oh boy, a polished, well-made Zachtronics-esque game? I could spend hours in this!
I'd say, the graphics are pretty neat. Although the gameplay itself feels a little bit... rough.
The gameplay, while solid, is indeed quite the slog. The game itself is pretty easy, but with this pace, can be quite irritating. The artstyle, while indeed all over the place in terms of palette, is simple and easy enough to understand at first glance. The music is probably my favorite. It fits the atmosphere quite nicely in my opinion, and is not too repetitive. That said, this is quite a solid entry, and could be something more if you had more time.
, the atmosphere is quite good, graphics are simple but nice, and the music and sound effects trully helps the experience. Though, i think i found a bug; if you type in any line if you're in the "you lost" screen, it would skip the next puzzle. But all in all, a neat entry! would l_ve to see this expanded m_re!
I guess it's how the world ends, huh? Not with a bang, but a building block of the universe getting tired of their non-life and taking matters in their own hands :P The gameplay is quite hard; i never found the exploit found by @mordokai and @shamps, so i always getting ambushed by enemies i can't see and too hard to kill; maybe either make the "light bullet" hitbox bigger, or make the protons(?) spawn less and/or have their entrace telegraphed The graphics are alright; pretty basic, but it shows what needs to be shown. And honestly, with the literal scope this game have, i doubt it's a bad thing. That said, a neat entry! would love to see this expanded more :D
Okay, this is quite the fun one. Reminds me of Zachtronics games a bit (Spacechem, TIS-100). One thing that would be useful is if the "tests" are shown one per one. Also, it seems there's a bug that the board doesn't reset per level. But, yeah, a nice entry!
I'll be honest, playing this at 8PM, alone in my room, i was pretty scared playing this, especially since the SFX lingers longer while the actions were instant; i always felt a sense of "What's happening" with every interaction. I know the source's from Fox Wolf News, but the opening screen didn't help at all with the sense of dread of suddenly having hooligans breaching your house. That, and with barely anything to do as well, sure helped in the (probably intentional?) feeling of paranoia of the game. Overall, an interesting entry! Would love to see this get expanded upon :D
Okay, this rating is so overdue, i'm sorry. The game is simply fun! the keyboard control feels a bit finnicky, but that's honestly just my opinion, and probably intentional. otherwise this is quite an solid entry! Would love for this to be expanded more! :D
Yeah, scope is pretty much the problem of most of your game jams, but i think you're not completely dropped the ball with this one
The gameplay is not bad, but i agree, the first wave is quite overwhelming. Probably make it so that the enemy spawn less per wave? Also, with such a small timeframe, i think it's better off that the resource is clumped together; most of the time i didn't get enough for the first turret before the wave start.
But i think your focus primarily lies in the assets, and it shows; The graphics are gorgerous, though i do wish the explosion actually damage the units near it, and the music is so good. I don't felt any sickness like the first comment did, but i do think it's quite sick.
Overall, not a bad entry! Would love if you worked on this more :D
It seems there's something wrong in your optimization, as it seems that at least a part of your players, including me (Windows 7 x64, 4GB ram, Intel HD 3000), have FPS issue so bad it's nearly unplayable. And, while i can see what you're going for with the "Camera can only be moved within castles" bit, and it's quite a neat idea, but the transistion is buggy (The camera seems stuck a quarter through), and the lack of monetary constraint meant that it's just a matter of how quick you can place your units, position be damned.
Wew, that was quite challenging. Love the Improvization aspect of the game (You only have two and have to make do). My high score was about 40, at that point i would be killed by an asteroid i can't see. A minimap, or at least an indicator of where the asteroids is would be nice. The (bug?) of them not shooting while in screen doesn't help either, even if it seems like they could shoot literally behind them. The graphics itself is quite good, with nice contrast between them, though i felt like the bullets looks too small. The song is, alright, but sets the mood for the game nicely. Overall, a fun and solid entry! Would love for this to be expanded more :D
Just wanna say this here, but the sound glitch happened in Opera as well.
Although, i must say, while the game is quite interesting and fun, it is also quite hard ^^; The bit with the red turrets is especially tricky, as the end of the hallway is a small escape with two nigh-impossible to hit and dodge turrets. Maybe push back the wall a bit?
A small, but well-executed game! I agree at @powerspark as well, keyboard controls could make this a bit less finnicky, but the game is fun already as is. Would love to see this expanded more :D
Okay, finally got the time to rate this, and i must say first, it looks beautiful. the graphics are aesthetically pleasant, and the sounds helps creating the atmospheric world. Though, i must say, getting the... black flame thing is quite hard, especially since the world's comparatively so big, but the game screen is so small. Maybe put a little signposting to where it is?
Also, i know it's because of the time constraint, but the map is a little bit underutilized. Maybe for the post-jam? :3
All in all, quite an entry! as i said, i would love this to be continued upon
A neat little game! The powers are a bit confusing at first (I thought the shovel pushes *your* block instead of the other way around), and the control are a bit too stiff, but hey, it's the jam, after all! Would totally love to see this expanded more :D
Yeeeeeah, credits where it's due, the game is pretty fun, but it's not really fitting for the Ludum Dare competition.
I'll be honest, this feels more like work rather than a game. Not that i apreciate the idea and implementation of it, but to me it's one of thos ethat rely more on the presentation being top-notch, and this one unfortunately feels too clunky to be fun.
I too had to stop playing this, but unfortunately not (just) because it got late at night; My screen is too small to get past 3 train lines with 3 cargo carriages (the 4th one gets clipped). Now I'm sure it's a me problem, but it does make it hard to fully evaluate, and could be an avenue to fix post-Jam.
Nevertheless, congratulations! I like it!
