Very nice take on the theme. Great game.

Very nice take on the theme. Great game.
Simple yet hard. i got 50 deaths reaching C1 before Ragequit.
Nice game. I love the depth idea of the levels. Only bad thing i found its that levels like B2 are a bit hard and need many attempts :)
@Terrabalt As the creator, I can complete it in 7 minutes with about 30-40 deaths. I think you were doing quite well :)
I like what you did with the theme - very clever
Smooth take on the theme. The items were great, too ("What the heck is a Sanic?"). I found the responsiveness a little sluggish sometimes -- I guess it was the time it took to roll into a ball. Amazing amount of level design (including reuse) for a 48-hour competition.
(Oh, and challenging without being *quite* impossible. After 23 minutes and 111 deaths, I finally made it to the end!)
Really interesting, is it a Metroid tribute? Feels like it with the gameplay style and the fact he turns into a ball, though I see what you did there - it saved having to make walk animation :)
I like it but it's too damn hard! I didn't know where to go at all, and after dying a million times to get somewhere to find out you can't pick the thing up there I rage quit XD
Yes, the ball animation was both a tribute to Metroid and a bit of a cop-out.
Also, perhaps it's not entirely clear but the item you're after is labelled with the Area Letter and the door number (ie, A1 is Section A, door 1)
A very nice idea, sadly there is no level design or game design exploitation : it is "just" levels in layers. I enjoyed it, died 47 times, reach C2 ^^
Clever! Also hard, but that's a good thing, must get back to it later!
Great take on the theme!
Haha I love the way you met the theme. Neat idea :)
A solid entry and a good interpretation of the theme. I am, however, mightily glad that I have a desk job and that you are not (I hope) a warehouse designer.
My wife made a "Mum plays..." of your game: http://youtu.be/flMrNd6UmQE
Cool idea with depth but very hard. I really liked the music. I did not have the patience to finish it :(
I really enjoyed the transitions through levels, it made the game look pretty good despite its simple graphics.
The thing I would change would be how it takes a lot of time for your character to start running. It would be more responsive this way.
Otherwise, good job on the game ! Its quite long as well for a jam.
clever use of the theme.. also liked the music!
I got the item and die to back to drop area, but its hard to localize some itens..
cool game, great job!
I don't think I care much for Sigma's working conditions but this game is gorgeous, fun and engrossing. Very nice.
I didnt really expect anything so original from the screenshot -- the game mechanic here is brilliant! One of my favorites so far, great job. 5/5.
I totally love your interpretation of theme. It's fantastic! One of the best so far. I finished it with 65 deaths and I can say "death is useful" :) Final screen made me laugh. Raw gameplay is classic and fun, maybe controls sometimes behaved strangely, but one not simple move as a ball :)
Love those graphics, very nice)
Sonic 4eva))
Cool looking level transitions. The side-to-side controls were hard to use with the "rolling" momentum.
I love the mood, music and atmosphere. Makes me think of Knytt stories. I love how the character turns into a ball when you move it. It's surprising and the physics are enjoyable. The vortex feeling of the camera movement when transitioning between levels is super cool and innovative. Didn't see that coming. Great work!
After 51 deaths I win! :)
Game is fun and I love the story behind that.
Although the idea of different depth rooms is not completely original (I see another game like this), it was well implemented and I like it!
Nice idea. :D
The controls make it hard to play properly, but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
This type of scrolling I approve :P
This is a very nice entry which has a lot in it!
The idea and realization are fantastic. The gameplay is actually quite good and the length is appropriate.
After finishing it with there are only a few things to say for improvement:
1) Once you have colltected an item and die in that level, the item should be reset. Otherwise the way back is actually often given instantly.
2) A little indication before the lasers shoot would be nice. Like a charging light or something. Otherwise you end up jumping right into them quite often.
Like it very much!
Nice trick to fit everything on one screen )
Really awesome! Felt very cerebral, very puzzling. Nice graphics and sound, great work!
Great game! The controls were a bit wonky (the variation between speed on ground and in air I think), but solid enough. Great interpretation of the theme, the zoom effect looked really good :)
Very original use of the theme! And who use spikes in the shopping centres? :)
Fun, but ridiculously hard, also I found wall jumping felt a little non responsive.
I was hoping someone would do a game like this! Unfortunately, while I do mostly like it, I don't like the controls; sort of floaty and laggy, makes it feel slow trying to get anywhere. Honestly, it took me at least 10 deaths to make the jump to get the A1 Giggermajigger. Still, it certainly proves itself to be a viable concept!
Really awesome idea but unfortunately terrible controls. Make it less like the player is running around on ice, and give some variable jump height and youll be in business.
Very nice concept :)
Nice take on the Single Screen theme!
Man you're crazy! And I what you've done!
took from me 22:19 to complete
Definitely my favorite game from this one. Besides from some annoying bugs like not staying on the platforms, it's great. One thing I think would make it better is if you could control how fast you go through all the screens, because then you can see the items in each separate screen. Otherwise, great job, I'd love to see more, but this is satisfying as it is. <3
This game is just awesome. One of my favourites, for sure. I love being able to see all the levels in the background.
Ugh, at some point I lost my patience. Maybe it's too late for this kind of game. And that C2 level, where you put an object right there, just too few pixels too far to easy get it... you monster!
Despite that, the game has it's charm. I like like the robot is rolling :) And pretty cool idea for taking a theme.
Clever play on the theme, fun game. movement is just a tad imprecise for getting into doors and wall jumps but nothing gamebreaking. Enjoyable tunes, enjoyable overall experience. Nice job!
Good game! I'm not entirely convinced about the theme use, but that certainly is a good platformer! I love how Sigma complains about the lasers.
Clever use of the theme :)
Really liked the layered design. Great use of the theme!
Awesome game! I love it :D
I liked it. My time was 14:36 and 52 deaths fyi. I felt there was a lot of story that could have been put in still, but there really is only so much you can do in 48 hours.
Really cool entry! Good job!
Good job overall. I love the central mechanic and the comments that the robot makes after encountering the various pitfalls. However, I did find the movement a little floaty and the graphics and audio could use a fair bit of polish. You more than made up for these drawbacks with an innovative mechanic and sense of humor. Great work!
Really original take on the theme and nice ending. Very enjoyable.
Ince interpretation on the theme, the zooming effect looks great !
Really fun and challenging!
Nice use of layering! Pretty good and difficult platformer.
Excellent concept!Very original!Well done!
Nice platformer game. I like it that all the levels are actually on the stage - in one screen, but just at different depth level. Very innovative on that point!
