Nice implementation of the theme, really liked the idea of having to repeat some actions to advance in the game.
My main suggestion would be for the game to be faster though, be it in character move speed or overall progression.

Absolutely amazing. Amazing use of the theme and great game overall. Seriously impressive that you did this all alone in 48 hours. Congratulations.
The only improvements I could see are maybe reduce the player collider width a little bit and giving the player a little bit more maneuverability while jumping.
