I couldn't figure out how to use the items. I could pick them and drop them, but I wasn't able to interact with anything. Some trees also couldn't be shaken for some reason.
I couldn't progress very far, but the art and music was good. I also like the idea of controlling the two characters at the same time.

The controls were a little hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. The art and music is amazing too. I'm really surprised.

I did the same thing on my first LD. All the game working in background but there wasn't much being shown on screen. I can see it's working though, and the most important is to learn from that. Also, the game could be a little faster.

It was very confusing at first, but I got it after a few games. There's been some very good comments made about your game above me.
In short, too much randomness and a lack of choice that matters. I would suggest losing the unit that you are using instead of a random one, because there's hardly any uses to some of the units.
However, for a 2 day game, this is really surprising (and fun!). I really liked the art, and there was a lot of it. Great job on your game !

I dont see how someone would pass the eye part without having played antichamber since there's no animation on it.

things I'd modify :
-the shadow when the sun is on one of the extreme side seems glitchy to me.
-You can get stuck in shadows sometimes.

The game is very interesting but needs some balancing. Otherwise its a very high quality jam game. The graphics are really nice, especially the explosions. It makes the game very satisfying to watch.
The only way to win for me was to build everything one 1 planet. When it got captured, it kept shooting and eventually saving itself. Eventually I had a large enough force on the planet to destroy any incoming UFOs.

It's a decent stealth game for a jam. I'd be nice to have doors block line of sight and have a different look for opened/closed doors. unfortunately I found myself waiting a lot.

It might not be finished but it works.
Apart from making enemy move and have them spawn regularly to have a challenge, I'd add an animation to the hook for when it is grabbing something or not.
The game is fun. The graphics, music and controls makes for a good feel.
The controls are good but i'd reduce turn speed a little. I'd be nice for the camera to zoom out when you get faster because mines appear so fast when you try to go fast.

I'm colorblind, and these yellow/green paltforms are killing me. Still managed to do 45 seconds. Also, I notice that as the game progresses the platform becomes lower and lower. At the end they were just on the same height at the bottom of the screen.

- You sometimes dies by ghost coming from places you didnt see.
- Mouse sensitivity is too high.
It's interesting, But I found the game quite slow even with Turbo mode. For exemple, 10 seconds for reading emails is really long.
Otherwise, it looks clean. Good job on the game !

It's clearly unfinished, but the camera switching works well, but there are no reason to switch between them right now. The environment are also really nice looking.

It's really short. Took me a few tries since you cant see what is above you until you actually hit it.
Some things you could add/modify :
- A bar for when you click and release the hat to see just how powerful your start is going to be.
- Zoom out or reduce speed so the player can see what's happening and don't have to memorize the levels.

Figuring out the buttons took a little too long. "? for fire" is strange and unintuitive.
That said, game worked well, i liked the idea of choosing from the remaining ships/weapons when losing a life. One weapon seemed like it didn't do any damage (The wave that gets bigger with time).

Hey ! Junior Pipe Artisan here ! I really really enjoyed the Papers Please! vibe from this game. The ambiance is very nice.
However, attaching the pipes was quite buggy. The only Time I managed to have a success I had attached the pipe backward so the water went back to the pipe it was coming out front. Also, objects can go off screen.
Despite that, I really liked it. Great job on the game !
Weird. I'm pretty sure I should have died of hunger by now.
Strange concept, but interesting. The game is pretty unclear, which might be the point. I'm not sure if there's any way to refill the food.
Presentation is very good. The graphics and music fit very well together. It wasn't very clear which units kills which. It might be written in instructions, but it's quite easy to forget, I'd be nice to have a little chart on the game screen.
Otherwise, this is one of the most polished game I've played this LD. Good job.
Couldn't get past the first level. Managed to kill about 70% of the ennemies, but they just get too fast in the end. The game is fun and interesting, but a little too hard.

I actually liked the controls. Controlings the mouse felt nice. I got destroyed in the later levels where a swarm of small enemies spawn and I died in less than 2 seconds.
One thing I noticed is that enemies don't damage you when you're already touching them. I'm guessing it's because you put the dmg script into OnTriggerEnter :P

The thing I would change would be how it takes a lot of time for your character to start running. It would be more responsive this way.

- Cant Right click, you need to remove right click menu in options.
- Cant see health.
Other than that, It's actually pretty nice. I liked the hats and weapons, though I couldn't text their special attack.
Great interpretation. Great Graphics. I got swarmed pretty fast since I ran towards the UFO. It seemed like the only path but it was a big mistake.
I'd be nice to have the possibility to restart without the intro.

Wow. I'm blown away on this one. Them atmosphere is perfect on this one. Gameplay might be simple but it fits the game very very well. the graphics are also very good. This is one of the best entries I've seen so far. Great Job !
Really interesting game. The controls are weird and i dont quite understand them correctly. The jump didnt seem to be that usefull and shoothing sometimes seemes very underwhelming.
However, the game felt so great to play. The slowmotions, sound effects, particles effects and art are amazing. It was super fun to try and orient strikes to be able to charge through multiple enemies at once (The test map at the end is great for that !)

The controls are fine and the game is interesting. However, its quite hard to kill an enemy not in your lane since you dont know the sequence to kill them before being in front of them. I'd recommend being able to see the sequence on each unit on screen somehow.

Fun game. The health bar doesn't seem very usefull since most enemies seemed to kill me in one hit.
It would be nice to know if you're dealing damage to enemies. I tried hitting the turrets and the big guy down from where you start but they're either invincible or super tanky.

@phi The theme is there, in the story. I understand that it's not in your face and you have to reach a certain point in the game to get it but I personally believe it fits the theme. However, I knew I wanted to do a puzzle game so I designed it first then integrated the theme afterwards.

It's very addictive and I'd love to see a complete game out of this. Great visuals and design. The tutorial and transitions are very smooth.
The gameplay gets repetitive and the eating animation gets annoying when you have to restart levels multiple times.
However, The graphics and sounds (they're amazing) make the experience enjoyable anyway. It was really fun, good job on the entry !

- The UE 3rd person controller is good, but rotating midair is weird with the rat's model.
- I'd be nice the scientist would have more impact when you're still small (I'd make the ending better too !)
- some more fx would be nice, but it seems you just didnt have them to add them in.
Please note that these are only noticeable since the quality of the game is so good everywhere else. You totally got me with that ending. I didnt see it coming.

Very fun game, I love how it looks when you have multiple heads. The only thing I would change is that the number of heads should be linked to the score. My first game was fun since i made mistake early and had multiple heads. The second one I ate nearly everything with only 3 heads, which made the game less fun.
Otherwise, super fun game. It's a neat idea !
Similar to the first part of little inferno in mood and feel.
It wasn't so clear to me how I was supposed to consume corpses. I reached a place where there were police officers and I just disapeared.
However, you did managed to make a creepy mood ! Good job.

The only thing I would point out is that the meteor showers felt somewhat unfair. I can't make it past the level before the last one.
I'm guessing the theme comes at the end of the game so I'll abstain from voting on that since I didn't make it.
As Aaranos said, sometimes the enemy respawn to far and doesn't seem to chase until we get back in range.
It's a simple game but fun. I'd be nice if the teleportation of the enemy would be more predictable. It's hard to guess where's he will appear next.

The game froze on me twice when the ship was gathering the orbs after the "Te He, Get it" level. I'm assuming this was the ending.

I'm so conflicted about this one. I love the art, the sounds and the mood of the game. The controls are okay too, but I really dont like the level design.
The jumps need to be so precise and timed that it just made it frustrating for me. You were probably aiming for that type of game, but the fact that you have to walk back, and sometimes reactivate mushrooms and such everytime you fail a jump makes it frustrating.
However, this is a very surprising game for a gamejam. It's not for me, but it's a great entry ! Good job.
Once you get the hang of it, it gets really fun ! Destroyable meshes are always fun to toy with.

Solid game. I really love the artstyle and the simplicity of the controls.
Two things bugged me since everything next to it was so good looking : The puking particle system and the hit harpoons sometimes not touching the player model.

Not bad. The concept is good but I felt the locations needed to be a little closer one to another.
Also, the controls were a little wonky sometimes. The impulse for the jump happens quite fast and it sometimes made me hit my head on a platform and miss my jump. Some other times I tried to go somewhere between two platforms but the collisions didn't allow it.

The beggining was really great at setting the mood. the game also looks good and the sound effects for the obstacle are nice.
A few things break the flow of the game however. Some obstacle just appear too fast and the music cuts really too fast when starting and ending the game.
