YOGO Cookie by Lacutis 2013-12-17T08:01:00
The mother kept getting caught on the wall when I played, but I did like the concept of sneaking past mother to get the cookies and the theme being part of the narrative from the mother. Nice!

I like the effects of the faux-3d, looks really cool and is really something that sets it apart even if it isn't visible in screenshots as much. That ending is difficult! Really liked this one.
I liked your jam entry, while I think I might have missed some options or there were only a few, I like your mechanic and replayed the game multiple times to see the different endings.
Hah, the sound effects are great! I am horrible at this game!
I thought the mechanic was really cool! I think the random generation of the levels is really swell technically, but it left me wanting something more handcrafted because the mechanics were so neat. Great game, really different than a lot I've played so far. Looks nice too.
Liked this an awful lot. Sounds were good and the puzzle was off-beat and interesting. Figured everything out relatively easily, even if it was dark. Looks good too!
I like this idea, it's really interesting. I feel like it fits the theme alright! Graphics are tight, there's solid audio and music. Overall an enjoyable idea that could be taken even further. My only gripe is that the controls were a little finicky, but otherwise great!
A simple game, I really enjoy the concept of just one match/torch/light source. Works well here, and I think you did a great job on the atmosphere and mood with fitting music. Great!
Thanks, I missed it at first, hope it being in a .rar is okay.
As I mentioned in the game post, the repeated dialogue is the one thing I didn't get a chance to fix before submitting. A tutorial with back-story is also something that is really needed if I were to take it further. As my first Ludum Dare game, I learned a lot here, and I'm glad you like the game-play and art style. I appreciate that you took the time to play it.
Thanks Nick! Until a tutorial is added it's a game that takes some effort to learn. That's not the most optimal for a game-jam game, I've learned, and I will try to make a simpler to play game next time around. I'm really glad you liked the art and mood!
Thank you for trying it, Jakub and Broxxar. Lots of great advice!
Thanks Whoa! I need to work on the dialogue system more, but I'm glad you liked it and found it really re-playable!
Thank you all so far, been enjoying the comments! This is officially one of the most worthwhile things I've done this year. I am so glad I did Ludum Dare, and a big part of that is your feedback!
Thank you Dan for making a video. I appreciate you taking the time. I know it's not the easiest to understand and the dialogue system isn't perfect. I'm glad you liked the idea, though.
@Alan, no way is everyone talking about my game Haha, it's got a lot of problems, but I'm glad you tried it.
Here's the link to the post-mortem which explains some of why things don't quite work right, and what I felt about the experience of doing my first game-jam:

@Madball Uh oh, some dialogue is wack then. I was going to have a seperate type of investigation that led to clues that helped you solve the murder weapon and room in a more logical instead of random way. Just ran out of time for the competition. Next time, I think I'll just shoot for the jam, as you just get more polish, which means better feedback, and better coverage. Seems like a no brainer.
VERY long day, but in the end I was hired! Interesting take on the food-making genre.
Awesome looking, great reveal at the end! I enjoyed this one a lot!
Really polished entry with some very fitting visuals and sound effects. Great work!
Really interesting! I think it was a tad slow, but the game looks amazing, has an interesting narrative, and solid audio. Great job!
Loved this, very intriguing and reminds me of my entry a tad, but the dialogue seems correct. The movement was a little odd, but once I got used to it, it was fine! Really great looking game as well. One of my favorites so far.
I like the idea of this game! Getting a strong Katamari vibe from the style. Love it! I'm not sure, like others, if I did good or bad, but still think it's neat in a very unique way.
Finefin is sorta right, but I played this game solo and felt like it can be intriguing that way too! Solid game, easy to pick up and play!
Funny game! Love the name. Kinda ended up just running back and forth, but still fun and looks solid!
I think it's a great entry with good looking pixel art and an interesting mechanic. The fireplace is a cool addition too. Bonus points! Didn't run into any hiccups playing, meaning it's solid and easy to play. Great!
Hah, this is so funny, love it. I know you have problems with the physics, but I really think this one has potential. First entry to give me a big grin!
I enjoyed the graphics, music, and sound. The gameplay is fun, but I couldn't stand losing immediately when pressing the release button the last time. Wish all rats had time to die off first.
VERY well done. Enjoyed it!
Interesting premise, I wish there was more of a game to it.
Kinda fun, quick little game. I enjoyed my brief time with it and took the time to beat it.
A surprising amount of depth to this game, it's also really difficult. Those red dudes are so aggravating! I enjoyed it a lot.
Kinda hard game! I really enjoyed the graphics and I love your take on the theme.
Can't stand the audio, but the game idea and graphics are simple and good. Controls are also a bit finicky.
Interesting game, great job!
I'm kinda confused at what to do? I love the title card, though.
The controls are a tad weird, but I didn't mind the game and found it relaxing. Great work making every part of the game.
Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry!
I appreciate the effort, but didn't enjoy the control setup.
One of the most innovative entries I have played. The charging was very slow, though, which became aggravating. It was also sometimes unclear what I was supposed to do, but otherwise think this was a great entry.
I love the graphical quality of this game. Great work!
I think this was a really cool entry. I like the game-play ideas you're showing here and the audio
Lovely atmosphere, enjoyed it a lot!
I would love to see where this would end up!
Surprised there weren't many levels, but enjoyed it nonetheless!
I love the combination of pixel art and ambient effects here. Really cool. Sometimes frustratingly hard, when I want to just see the beautiful artwork.
Hah, hard game! I enjoy the mechanic even if it only touches on the theme.
Congrats on your first Ludum Dare, great work!
Weird to use an installer. I think it's a great entry!
Graphics remind me of the old Sim Ants. I like this one a lot!
Hah, love that silly sprout gathering mula!
Thanks for providing so many sources!
Congrats on your first Ludum Dare!
This is really cool, especially for your first LD. Great work!
A solid entry, I enjoyed the mechanic of avoiding being hit making the game easier!
Reminds me of an old arcade game. I think the effects are really fun!
The graphics are stunning! I found the game to be a tad too easy, but hey, that's hardly a problem coming from me.
I think it's awesome you have an android build. Great work here.
Funny game!
Pretty challenging, but I enjoyed the premise and like the look of it!
Awesome work!
Wow, this is impressive for so little time. Awesome work.
VERY cool. Wish it had some music like other commenters, but looks great.
Weirdly reminds me of Plants vs. Zombies. I enjoyed the concept. Great work!
Hah, this is a hilarious game. I think it's a cool take on the theme!
