Finished in 17 seconds :) You should at least let the winning screen last 1 second, the first time I won I did not see the exit and won, which means that I was still pressing an "up" key so the winning screen disappeared instantly...

Thanks to 01010111 I understood how the game is supposed to be played. The gameplay is interesting so you definitely have to describe better how to play, if you want people to be able to see what game you created!

The hitxbox of the spikes is a bit too large, in my opinion the character shouldn't die when he is just on the side. Here is an example http://i.imgur.com/G4FFBwj.png I'm jumping up in contact with the wall, but as soon as I reach the spikes I will die, even without an obvious collision. Otherwise it was fun to play!

Good game overall, original inversion mechanism! I think the health punishing is good, but you should add a key for restarting the level. I got stuck in the level where you have to shoot red balls into blue walls, since when I was too close to the blue wall, the red ball went through and I had no way to restart the level or to die.

@harleylaurie: the queens used to drop also soldiers ants, which enabled them to be more defended. However, we saw just after the deadline that a variable had changed and that the queens only drop workers ants all the time... I'll have to test for the mushroom level, maybe the weights on the map are not adapted.

@BuriTeam: it crashes for every map? What Windows are you using?

@Clinthoney: we had planned to add a lot more stuff to the game, for example some text instead of just "victory" or "defeat". Basically, you can buy some additional units, or "plant" things in the ground to prevent the red ants to attack the queen.

@theholychicken: Thanks :) The queen only drops a unit every second or so, which means if you buy units (the first two icons) they will be queued and created as soon as possible. For the other icons ("towers"), they have to be placed on the map!

The idea could lead to a good game! I am just wondering why the "digging implement" decreased from time to time, like losing the excavator after some time. It's quite frustrating to have a great digging power (dynamite!) and lose it without knowing why ;)

It's much better now, and less frustrating ;) After some digging, there was a popup message saying that I reached "level 10", but nowhere before I could see that there was a level counter, or something related to that. Is it concerning the "digging power"?
