Really fun and humorous game guys! :) The car physics feel great and are lot's of fun to drive around with. There was one instance where I drove over a woman and she fell through the floor though. Then I got stuck. :(
But why is the kitty not a good weapon :P
Awesome art and fun to play. I ended up wanting to try all possibilities.
That believer horn XD
Like you said the game is a bit too easy, but fun nonetheless.
I like the birds they are funny looking, somewhat like zeppelins :D
Really beautiful game. I found it very enjoyable. The music fits very well en you feel awesome while playing the game :D
What a fun game, really hard, but fun. I died within ten seconds almost every time :P
My highscore was somewhere near 30 seconds.
Lovely graphics and good soundeffects. Enjoyed it very much :)
Cool art style and lovely idea for this theme :D
I'm impressed that you managed to deliver on all aspects of the game in just 48 hours. Great music, art and gameplay!
Great fun. It took me quite some time to destroy the enemy, once I spawned the robots they went down quickly though :D
The mood was excellently set in this game. Lots of different sounds and music for actions. I really liked how music and sound effects worked together brilliantly. A great game in every aspect.
Awesome :D
I like the art style and the music is great as well. Everything fits together perfectly. I just want to keep on playing this game.
I also really appreciate the little animation things, like being able to see which enemies are vulnerable when. This is the best game I've played so far.
Great idea :)
Strangely enough the astroids kept spawning on the left screen. At least 90% of them spawned there. I don't know if that is supposed to happen in the beginning to make it easier, or I just got lucky :P
Lol, those pigs, I did not expect that :P
The music added greatly to the whole what the heck experience. Fun to play and also really nice art.
This is so cool :D
It would be awesome to be able to check this every LudumDare.
I like the idea, the game is very fun to play but crazy difficult :P
Lovely graphics. Fun game, even though I couldn't manage any level without dying :P
Wow, what an awesome idea for this theme. In the later levels it gets really confusing and I like that. Great game :D
Great mood, it's a very relaxing experience. It get's hard pretty fast though.
The music is great and so are the graphics, all together really polished entry. :)
Looks amazing, fun and clever mechanic.
Also super polished! :)
Highscore of 9524, beat that!
Although the graphics might not be the greatest, this is actually one of the best LD games I've played so far. It's very addictive and the sound does a great job supporting the gameplay. I'm going to give it another go, see if I can break 10000. :)
Nostalgia attack. :) <3 the gameboy look. Takes me back to zelda.
Fun little game with great graphics. Also the sounds are good, what you see a lot during LD is that people take the first blip out of sfxr and stick with it. These sounds actually fit the actions they are bound to. :)
Great work!
Wow this game is amazing! The rats are hilarious. :D If this had multiplayer and mario kart style powerups it would be legendary. xD
Cool game with a great graphical style. It was pretty hard at first but I kept getting better. But oh how I wanted a jump button. xD A bit lacking on the audio but that's completely understandable. :)
That one screenshot compelled me to download. I was quite surprised, actually a good game with a great sense of humor. :)
It does require a bit of patience though, the frog hops so slow. HOPHOPHOPHOPHOPHOPHOPHOPHOP :D
This game gave me nightmares. o.o
No really, the concept is pretty messed up. Made me totally uneasy. :D
The fact that it is a child totally helps set the mood. A primal instinct for you to protect your child from the monsters of the dark. The anxiety that this game evokes is quite a real feeling.
Great idea, great entry.
At one point I got stuck In a shop (I had 2 shop windows open and I could only close one, bug?). :( I had to start over. >.<
That being said, the artwork is gorgeous. A very unique and striking style of pixel art. It's very beautiful. It really helps set the mood for the game.
You should definitely continue working on this and add some sounds. :P
A minor nitpick is that the controls where a bit awkward X and Q are nowhere near eachother on my keyboard. But the game was turn based so it didn't matter that much. :P
All in all, great job. :)
Simple idea but executed very well. There's quite a bit of polish in here and it shows. The flight controls are super responsive, so after a few deaths I could dodge and kill very efficiently. The feeling you get when you have multishot + instant charge shot is just amazing. You'll see the terrain crumbling around you and enemies dying everywhere. :D
The only bad point was the ending, it was very abrupt. Just when I was enjoying myself! :D But that's completely understandable for a gamejam.
For it's stylish 8 graphics, crunchy sounds and responsive gameplay this is so far my favorite compo entry.
The spritework is amazing. Very clean in crispy style. :) It's a hard game though o.o
After a while you'll learn to deal with the bats. I found that running back and letting them come at your level helps. With a bit more time you could really polish this into a neat game, the powerup mechanic is there, it just needs more of the same. ^^
What a gem this is! :)
I haven't completed it yet, I'll save that for another day. But so far I can say the graphics and sound set a great atmoshpere. I love the attention that was given to the details. Also the camera direction is a very nice touch.
All in all, I love it! :)
A very moody and atmospheric experience. I spent 15 minutes rowing around to find the last lantern. But the clue was already spoiled because I found the lantern with the last word earlier. :<
When I found the last lantern the voice acting improved significantly. :P Other then that top notch audio that really fits the atmosphere.
Simple but sweet mechanic. Perfect for this theme! :) Love the art style, it's beautiful. :)
The animations of the effects were also really nice.
I love this. :) The idea is so simple yet so strong! Sweet graphics also. Very impressive!
The controls took some getting used to, but after a few hunts it got easier and a lot more fun :)
The look of the graphics and color scheme is great, it really sets the mood.
Really loved swinging myself around to gain a lot of speed and then crashing into the planets :D
It is quite easy to finish, but definitely also very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed this game. Great idea, nice graphics and the wall jumping makes the game stand out. I'm curious what lies beyond the bridge and why there is such a high toll :D
A cool idea, the graphic style makes it hard to see your reflection though.
Loveley little game with a good mechanic. You should definitely continue to work on it. Sometimes the laser was a bit hard to control though.
Good job guys!
The gameplay wasn't that special. But the way it moves is just pure gold. It makes the game feel responsive and gives a really polished look. The blog post you made really shows what an impressive tech this is. If the animation system was on the asset store, I'd definitely buy it! :)
The music was awesome as well.
Good job!
What an original idea. I like the potato sound :D
Really like how the blocks appear only when you get close to them. This is a great game with an awesome concept. Also the game controls quite good imo :D
I want to kill everything and grab all the coins! D:
I killed everything on the first go, but after that I found that trying to not kill anything is actually a lot of fun. Cool concept and sweet graphics!
Very impressive! :)
sweet visuals :]
Great idea, but a bit hard. I liked that you can jump very far. It would be easier if you could somehow see when the blocks you are standing on are going to fall.
It takes me back to playing maple story and having to do one of those tedious jump-quests with a huge level with platforms just like your game. The graphics are nice and colorful but the platforming needs some work. The main thing I have with it is that you can't jump through the platforms but need to go around them. If you fix only that, the game would be a whole lot more enjoyable. :)
Cool idea. The light adds to the creepiness.
I was busy reading the text that told me not to stand in one place for too long, then I died :P
Had a hard time controlling the helicopter. Even on easy mode I crashed :P
The graphics look cool though and if the helicopter was a bit easier to control it would be a great game :D
Man that was intense, very hard. I'd like to see someone speedrun that! :D great work!
Lol, I see what you did there. Nice one ;p
Great game!
I've tried beating it at least 5 times now, but without success . I will definitely try again later :D
Graphics are cool same goes for the story.
Finished it in one go, it's pretty easy to kite the enemies around once you get the hang of it. Then you can clear most of them in 1 or 2 beams. :) It's a pretty cool mechanic that could make for some nice puzzles. The graphics are also pretty nice, especially the enemies, they look awesome. :)
The music got pretty annoying, it wasn't very good. But hey it's 48 hours so what can you do right?
Simple but effective. I love the gravity and the way the platforming feels. The art is nice as well. :) The levels got pretty punishing later on though (which is not a bad thing).
Great job! :)
This is such a cool idea and really fun to play.
Loved it :D
The graphics are beautiful, I really like the color scheme.
Jumping took some time to get used to, but I definitely enjoyed making some tea :D
Really like the graphics, the potato is so lovable
It's very difficult though. It took me three tries to kill the first enemy :P
Awesome, amazing what a mood you've set with so few pixels. :)
Wow! O: lol
It's definitely minimalism. It's a shame the nose wouldn't let loose though. :D
Wow, that was very simple but also very fun! :D
Really fun mechanic. I would imagine it working well with an xbox controller, 2 sticks and 2 triggers. :)
Great visuals and audio, minimalist gameplay. I'd say a very nice entry for this theme! :) I found it a bit hard though, or I just suck, lol. So the checkpoints were much welcome. :D
Well you definitely succeeded at setting the horror mood. Did not expect the bats, nice. :)
Actually I dont like horror games, I cant handle the tension. They do make me curious though, as did this one. I found the potato and how does the game reward me? Kills me! hah!
Good work!
The game starts great, with cool graphics and nice music. Too bad it's really short. I would love to play more :)
It took me a few tries to figure out I was supposed to press and hold space to stay in the air. I kept spamming the button like crazy :P
Like the way you handled the theme. The game is fun to play and the graphics make it even more fun :D
It's always fun to jump off the edge in a 3d world :P
That aside I like this game. I like the look of the world and the music fits it perfectly. At times I wished I could walk a bit faster but that is the only downside in my opinion.
I really like the idea that your in a dream. The graphics fit well, it feels like a dream. The music is awesome :D
It took a while to figure out exactly where I was supposed to go :P
Love bouncing around in my tank :D
You should finish it, I'm curious what you had planned for this game.
I like how you interpreted the theme with this game :D
The graphics look nice. The gameplay could use some tweaking though.
Very clean look to it, very nice. The puzzles however not that innovative, are cleverly done. The way the color separate them is subtle and nicely found. Great work guys!
Really nice graphics.
I was surprised when I finished the game, it didn't feel like the end. The voice over is a really nice touch. It kept me interested throughout the game.
Impressive accomplishment in only 72 hours :D
epic ending! :p
Some proper old school mortal combat style graphics, you guys must have had a lot of fun making this. :D
Beat it in one go, so I wouldn't say it was difficult.
But I'd have to say the rats at the start were the most hilarious of all. :P
Agree on making the squares move faster, having to wait before I could click again was pure pain, especially when moving across the entire screen. :P
But that's my only complaint, amazing concept. The minimal audio matches it perfectly.
well done!
Blow up ludum dare hq eh? 5 stars on humor! :D
This has to be my favorite ludum dare entry so far. The mechanics are fun, and the graphical style is simply amazing.
The learning curve was a bit steep though,
Look loveley and the gameplay is very fun. I found that clicking on the green of the trees always cuts them down, but not the trunk. It's a little lacking audio wise, it could have used some sound effects on the various actions you perform. I'm in love with the 3d models and their textures though.
Awesome entry! :)
Pretty cool! The animation of the main character is nice, did you make that with smoothmoves (unity plugin)? Too bad the environment is grey next to the colorful character.
You should try and finish it. :)
This game is cool, it has some really hard levels. I managed to finish all of them though :)
I like the idea and the graphics fit this theme well.
I would have liked to enjoy the sunset at the end some more :D
This was a very cool game to play. The difficulty buildup is just right and it makes you want to keep trying to beat your score. The mechanic is fun and punishes you for spamming. You will be spamming in the end though, it gets quite hectic. :P Very nice work!
Haha, this is the funniest game of all ludum dare! The voice acting really make it fun to keep playing. :)
Blood everywhere .___.
Very cool game, and very minimal. :p
Platforming stripped to the basics, and some nice mechanics implemented.
Great job! :)
Cool and simple style, i like it alot.
Gameplay wise, it's pretty brutal, or I just suck at it. xD
WASD + an isometric grid takes some time to get used to. And the grid might have a bit too many blocks for me, I take the wrong turns all the time (just before or after the one I was supposed to take).
For a non gamejam game it might be nice to let the player start out on a small grid, or to slow everything down a bit.
Loveley graphics, animations and audio. Great job! ;)
Enjoyed this one, it was a bit hard though. That might be because I was playing in fast forward mode all the time though. :p
It's definitely a cool concept though. And the graphics are simple but effective.
A thing you might want to add is some kind of tutorial that shows players how to control their ships and all that.
Very nice entry, good job! :D
I had fun playing this, love the fact that your character deforms if you fall faster. That's a bit of animation that makes your game feel so much more polished.
Popping the bubbles did get a little repetitive, you might want to make the player bounce of of them so you dont need to jump each time.
This game was hard as balls o.o
Very fun, nice graphics and audio. :)
Very fun to play actually! :)
The sound that plays when you get the ball to it's home is a bit harsh for the ears though. :p
The music sets a great mood and the game fits the theme really well.
Good job!
Cool concept, although requiring the user to press a key to land safely takes a bit of getting used to.
So i was spamming 'D' alot and discovered a bug which lets you hover in mid air, done at the correct point I was able to fly accros everything. :P
This was really fun, I would totally dig (local, same keyboard) multiplayer for this! :D
So I played this in the morning when I just got out of bed. With a clear mind I started unfurling.
It's a really fun little game with a unique concept. It can be quite difficult at times, but if you take a moment and listen to the zen music playing in the background, you'll find that the answer wil come to you eventually.
That brings me to the audio, it's lovely.
I had enough of the game after a few levels though, this is one of those games of which you would want 1 puzzle each day.
The graphics fit the theme well, although I would say a bit too much of texture overlays was used.
Overall, great job you guys! :D
It's a bit difficult, but it definitely looks cool!
I instantly died when I got to the boss, because I had 1 heart left. Maybe you could make monsters drop hearts at random to replenish your health.
Continue didn't work for me also.
But great job overall. :)
I simply love the killer bunnies. The game controls work well.
I don't know how and if you're supposed to win, but I like the look of this game so much!
Great game. Fun and original idea.
It's a shame the wasps get stuck easily, but still fun to do.
I had to stop before I could attack all the picknick groups, because the sound was annoying my boyfriend too much :P
The sound does however fit the game nicely
This game is great!
It has to be one of the most original ideas I've seen.
The controls work wel the art is simple and fits the games purpose. I really like the amount of time that is put in making the gameplay gradually harder.
The graphics are very cool! The gameplay is a bit tricky, having to click every enemy with the basic attack is hard. The other attacks are more fun to use and also look great.
Overall a fun game :)
Liked the game a lot. It's quite easy to beat but very fun.
I like the style of the graphics and how many different monsters I can place.
What a great game. The art is very good and I love the music.
It took me a while to figure out you can enter the houses just by walking through the door. I was thought there was a control to do that :P
I'm amazed at how polished the game is in this amount of time.
Great looking game.
It's fun to play and it works well.
I could however be pushed up the high bit of the level. But that was quite fun as well. If I stood there, fired my gun and walked out of the screen I would reappear at the other side and I could see my own shots coming towards me.
Overall very good game.
I like this game a lot. The moment when I picked up the first egg and the chicken came running. It was really funny.
I also like how the chicken is placed a the beginning an you think: what is this chicken doing here?
Also the graphics fit the game very well.
This is one of the best games I've tried. The graphics look good the controls work well.
I like the different enemies (enemies that jump, sit still, fall from the ceiling). It's a lot of fun to play even though it can be frustrating that you die if you get one hit. This is the main reason I haven't finished the game yet.
But, this is the first game that I plan on playing more than just one time.
It's great fun!
Really like the graphics. It took me a while to figure out that my score was getting higher just by walking back and forth from the bank to my save.
The game controls work nice also.
Overall really impressed with what you were able to do in this short amount of time :)
This is very cool, it plays a lot like mansions of madness (a boardgame). :D
I am loving this. :)

Lovely music and sweet sprites. Great work on the tweens, ties the whole game together very well. Awesome entry Benstar. :)
