LD26 — Minimalism

Boxy by matter123 2013-04-30T22:53:00

The mac link appears to contain a windows build?

Bridge Crosser by Elemental Zeal Games Studios 2013-05-01T02:05:00

That was hilarious, really enjoyed it.

Orb by Grouflon 2013-04-30T22:50:00

Really nice, I was amazed when the planet started changing. It was beautiful.

Lifebloom by Hologuardian 2013-04-30T22:39:00

Also crashes on launch for me.

The Quest for Philip's Glass by porglezomp 2013-04-30T02:39:00

Reuploaded, since the spawn point was accidentally placed in the last room.

The Quest for Philip's Glass by porglezomp 2013-05-01T00:26:00

If you like this, you might like this guy's game: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=22124

It's pretty similar, one of my favorite games so far.

The Quest for Philip's Glass by porglezomp 2013-05-01T11:04:00

Thanks guys, your comments mean a lot to me. I plan to continue working on the game for a few more days and posting a non-compo version. I really would like to fix all the game breaking bugs at least, and make a few puzzles a little bit less confusing.

@Phase I was originally trying to make it a 3rd person game, but since I ran into issues with mecanim, I finally gave up. I left the walking animations in place though, since I wanted to use the character for something.

The Quest for Philip's Glass by porglezomp 2013-05-01T23:01:00

@KaiMcKenny42 we didn't have time to complete that last puzzle. That will be one of the things we include in the non-compo version.

end by Aevek 2013-05-01T00:17:00

Really nice! Your game is really similar to ours, you should look at it, we can probably learn things from each other. Our game could have used something like the signs.

http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=21051

end by Aevek 2013-05-01T00:25:00

Although you should have disabled mipmapping on the signs, that's my one criticism.

Parabox by Jon Fischer 2013-04-30T18:45:00

It crashes when I click the play button. I'm disappointed, since it looks really fun.

Block Run R -First LD- by MrBlade 2013-04-30T02:08:00

Pretty nice! The jumping is a little bit unreliable if you're already moving though.

Minizator by Dreauw 2013-04-30T19:32:00

Really great!

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Explosive Laser Farm by Back to Browse Entries 2013-09-07T16:04:00

I can't manage to upgrade anything, since I never get coins, no matter how many times it dings. It seems like it would be fun if I could upgrade stuff, but it's still too broken to play at all.

Insert Token(s) to Continue by Sestren 2013-08-26T23:37:00

If you ever add anything to this, I recommend the end screen asking you to "Insert Coins to Continue"

This Game Will Self Destruct in 10 Seconds by ChronusZ 2013-08-31T14:50:00

I really like the 10 seconds crashing (probably wouldn't if I played a long time), but the insta-murder guys ruin it for me.

Time Tunnels by Thinkofdeath 2013-08-31T23:08:00

Nice game, but I would have liked a better input scheme. Either using the keyboard for the directions, or clicking and dragging. I also wish that it would keep your path inbetween failures.

Stunt Jumper by Hume 2013-08-31T15:04:00

@Dew, I'm going to rate your game because of that comment.

Seconds of Light by kristof 2013-08-26T23:22:00

This game is really great. At first I didn't even feel like I would ever need to use the torches, seeing as I could see just fine near me.
Then, as soon as I saw the eyes in the darkness, I realized they were dangerous. Everything immediately felt darker, and the torches became really valuable, and the darkness became really scary. One of my favorite entries so far!

Duke Dashington by AdventureIslands 2013-08-30T03:04:00

Really great! I got stuck on the level with the button behind the top and bottom spikes, but I'm bookmarking this to come back to!

Planet Monster by 01010111 2013-08-30T19:45:00

I think I found a bug! You said you fixed a bug where you would die with only one hit? I think it still exists if you restart the game. I played through once and died perfectly fairly, but when it restarted, the first monster that got through killed me.

A Square Of Space And Time by PTSnoop 2013-08-30T03:59:00

You need to recompile your web build without the context menu. I can't right click.

Urvas by mitkus 2013-08-30T03:21:00

It took me a while to figure out that killing the Golems got you more time, but once I did, it because super fun! Bookmarking this one for later.

Time and Time Again by BrothersT 2013-09-07T16:24:00

I want a mac build so desperately.

SliP by Sakuyan 2013-09-17T00:20:00

Nice game, but it was hard to figure out the controls.

Launch_0xa by CarbonCoder 2013-09-07T22:27:00

Very fun! It took me far too long to solve the first puzzle, my first thought was Helium (2) + 110, and the real solution took me a while.

Clockwork Cat by patrickgh3 2013-09-06T21:07:00

I love how the moving platform gears are attached to the clock gears, and I really like how you seemed to subtly stick the whole game into a story that you don't really have to tell. This game is great!

LIMIT by Holofire 2013-08-30T14:27:00

The instructions were a bit confusing, I didn't know how to use the lasers until I read the comments.

Okay, went and played the game knowing that, it's pretty fun!

Rush by JPatrick 2013-08-31T23:18:00

Crazy gravity, pretty good otherwise.
Also, this game has the best font of any game I've played. There are a few burrs on some of the letters, but it's a very nice looking font.

Clone and The THING by NateAGeek 2013-08-30T14:15:00

I like the story and dialogue. Very funny.

10 Seconds: the Ungame by cafeine 2013-08-30T02:19:00

Haha! This is great! Best humor in any game I've played so far.

The 91st Parallel by BMacIntosh 2013-08-26T19:49:00

Oh hey! Were you on IRC while I was telling people about arcseconds, or did you think of it independently.

LagBird by leparlon 2013-08-26T19:47:00

SO HARD! Quite fun game.

sine by timtipgames 2013-08-26T14:38:00

This is really great!

DotFight by se1by 2013-09-07T22:51:00

Do you run out of ammo? Because I tend to stop shooting after 5 or 6 seconds, and I don't see any way to reload. The bot doesn't seem to have this problem.

DotFight by se1by 2013-09-07T22:51:00

In any case, pretty fun, quite hectic combat.

A Love Story by Shmarah 2013-08-27T16:16:00

I love that you have a Doctor Who quote in among all the literature quotes... I assume they're literature quotes because I've only heard of some of them and they sound fancy.

Bug Buster by ConflictiveLabs 2013-08-28T16:20:00

YEAH! -1700 POINTS!

The Pitch by Alex Shestakov 2013-09-01T01:57:00

Nice game, quite silly. It seemed you didn't have much variation in the types of people, but that's to be expected with a LD game, isn't it?

Clocked In by rylgh 2013-09-14T13:12:00

Wonderfully simple and well executed! I got to level 19!

The Lodge by BleuLlama 2013-09-07T22:47:00

Awesome that you have a raspberry pi version! I'll be playing this on mine!

Red Buttons by flod 2013-08-26T22:01:00

Silly, mean, and quite funny. Nice job.

Solitude by rxi 2013-08-28T14:19:00

Lovely game. There were a few jumps that were annoying to make, and I had to try 3 or 4 times. It's a bit too hard for me to finish right now, but I'm going to come back to this one.

Flick Fight by raoz 2013-08-27T15:53:00

The controls don't seem to be very good. I can't predict what way I'm going to go based on what I do, and I randomly teleport places.

DungeonRaider by Dioiminik 2013-08-30T02:14:00

I like the collapsing effect a lot, but the rooms start to feel repetitive after only 5 or 6.

Con 10 Sedi by Capro 2013-09-07T22:38:00

Love how you used the theme! 5 for theme for you.

Nerv by arcticleaf 2013-08-27T15:48:00

The game just says "Welcome to prison of hell", and then just sits there with things floating past. I can't get past it.

10 Second Tai by Teejay5 2013-08-30T14:10:00

SharkNATO is the best thing ever.

Enemy Inbound by Canobie 2013-08-27T16:00:00

SO HARD! I don't understand how to kill an enemy without taking just as much damage as I deal.

MOONTRIP by chocobyte 2013-09-07T23:04:00

The page isn't loading for me.
I'm using Chrome on OSX.

10 Second Happy Rocket by Starspell 2013-09-06T21:02:00

Nice game, I love physics games!

RimorD by Verz 2013-08-30T13:24:00

Very good game! I didn't understand how my choices at the beginning effected the end, but I really liked the connections I could see.

Four Bombs by Clavus 2013-08-26T16:01:00

I can't beat the mine-sweeper bomb. I've tested every single one that ends up left, but they're all mines.
I'm using the OSX version, if that makes a difference.

Four Bombs by Clavus 2013-08-26T16:32:00

Ah, okay.

Four Bombs by Clavus 2013-08-26T16:36:00

Good game though!

The theft of the magic potato by Dining Philosopher 2013-09-14T13:28:00

The robots not being able to find their way around is a bit annoying, this'd probably more fun with smarter pathfinding and a visible action queue.

Space Janitor: Custodial Marine by radmars 2013-08-30T14:04:00

Nice! I would've liked some more checkpoints in the second level, had to retry the whole thing a few times. It was very good!

Space Janitor: Custodial Marine by radmars 2013-08-30T14:05:00

Also, I love how you use the theme in so many ways. Great job with that.

The Ten Ten Seconders by Subi 2013-08-26T15:53:00

Fun! My best is 8th dead I think. Worst is 1st....

TENSEC by bombjack 2013-09-14T13:06:00

Interesting game. Took me a while to figure out that you can drag over the buttons. I'm not sure if that's intended, because at the end you can just drag sideways over all the lines and no level is harder than any other. Anyway, I beat it. Innovation to you!

Haraka by gikdew 2013-09-14T13:16:00

I liked this, but I hated how you had no control over that few second pause at the beginning of each run.

Haraka by gikdew 2013-09-14T13:20:00

Yeah, the post-compo feels much better in that regard.

Trapped by svenardo 2013-08-26T20:05:00

It's a bit easy to trap yourself on the level with the 3 locked doors, and when the time runs out the level doesn't reset. Also, when I beat the last level I got to, it just started the level over.

ARGENTUM FORM by blackotus 2013-08-30T03:37:00

Wonderful graphics and mood! The controls were a bit strange, and I didn't actually read the description before I started playing. It might help to write them below the player in your webpage?

Death Star by Nuclear_Hammer 2013-08-26T19:43:00

Doesn't work on mac here.

CountDown by SloZigec 2013-08-26T14:59:00

I'm getting some errors in the mac build,
[0x0-0xed3ed3].com.apple.JarLauncher: Exception
[0x0-0xed3ed3].com.apple.JarLauncher: in thread "main"
[0x0-0xed3ed3].com.apple.JarLauncher: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/slozigec/tenSeconds/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0

And some more things.

CountDown by SloZigec 2013-08-26T15:20:00

He's learning. I'm sure he can make a more game-like game next LD.

Test Chambers by 0xc0dec 2013-09-16T23:36:00

It felt a bit laggy. I like the idea, but as it is it feels too simple, and somewhat luck-based. (I suppose I could've looked upwards more often, I dunno.)

Merciless Momentum by tylerb1 2013-09-14T22:02:00

Quite merciless. Once I got to the enemies, I just couldn't do it anymore.

Routine decisions (in 10 seconds) by Yozz 2013-09-17T00:15:00

It was REALLY hard to get fired! I liked the style, nice color theme. 5/5 for humor as well.

10 Seconds Treasure Hunt by GodsBoss 2013-09-14T22:09:00

The controls feel awkward. I think that's the main limiting factor of the game. It's funny and very hard, but those controls man.

On Borrowed Time by shohs 2013-08-26T19:42:00

I can't get the game to launch. I downloaded the cross platform, is there only supposed to be OnBorrowedTimeWin.jar?

10013 milliseconds by mortus 2013-08-31T15:01:00

Seems really nice! I'm going to bookmark this and try to beat it later. Seems nice and hard.

Parallel Panic by Jyrkface 2013-08-31T20:05:00

I enjoyed this, although I couldn't get past the rainbow level. I did think the controls felt a bit floaty/drifty, but it's pretty fun.

hurry! by hughsk 2013-08-26T15:12:00

Fun! Highscore, ~120

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-26T14:55:00

@MrBlade, the sound only beeps if it forces a choice for you.
@Pestodesign thanks! One of my friends told me "This fixes all the problems with Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games."
@OkayHughes I tried to make a warning sound, but it never really worked.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-26T16:37:00

@PTSnoop, I'll put up some offline builds right away.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-27T16:51:00

The 10 seconds to choose was the initial idea of the game, but it ended up playing a more minor part than I would have liked.
If I work on it more, I'll change where the timer shows up, instead of being every single choice.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-28T15:39:00

@N427 The pack your things and leave was one of my favorite jokes. If you chose to pack your things and leave it just sticks that "You have no things here" card inbetween.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-09-17T01:04:00

Hey everyone who rated me, thanks for rating me! You guys are all awesome!

Duel by zlowrance 2013-09-14T20:41:00

The music and art are great, but the 10 seconds felt too long, and it felt like quite a lot of luck.

10 Seconds of Grey by Almax27 2013-08-30T03:48:00

I don't really get it, but it was pretty and funny. Good dialogue!

Greed Run by Elrobo 2013-08-28T19:44:00

The boulders are a bit harsh at times, but this was great!

MegaPunch by Nick Weihs 2013-08-30T03:43:00

This is brilliant! I love the controls and the art, and it's multiplayer! And the animations and oooh! Bookmarking this one.

Temple by 3beards 2013-08-30T13:52:00

Not much I can say to add to what others have said. Liked the game, not the shaking screen, I'm a bit dizzy right now.

Just 10 Seconds by ellipticaldoor 2013-08-30T03:55:00

A bit confusing at first, but quite interesting! I agree the first comment, I thought it was a behavior experiment.

Step Out by bitserum 2013-09-06T11:09:00

Wonderful game! Beautiful art! Great puzzles!

Richard Was Afraid Of The Dark by Atmospherium 2013-08-26T21:55:00

Nice game, the narration reminded me a bit of Thomas Was Alone. The controls were a bit too floaty for me however, and the graphics felt a bit strange. Your normal map might be inside out? It would look more like stone flipped around.

Blinking by Anoarith 2013-09-07T15:55:00

The music signaling the change reminds me of the end of Limbo, where the gravity switches at the climax of the music. Very nice game!

Unstable Ground by avh4 2013-08-30T03:11:00

I'm impressed by how nice the demolition physics is, even if it's not the same sort of realism that those CoD guys want you to have.

Think Quick (very very buggy and unfinished) by IHackedDeath 2013-08-26T15:22:00

Can you upload a webbuild, since you used unity? I'd like to play it on a mac here...

Royal Defenestrator by BasmanovDaniil 2013-08-28T19:57:00

THE BEST GAME.

Hurry UP! by Sense 2013-08-31T22:16:00

I really like the art and the animation, and I sort of see what you're going for with the no-going-back, but really, not being able to go back feels arbitrary, and makes it less fun for me.

Don't let Them Hug you! by Jicken 2013-08-26T13:50:00

I was a bit surprised when it never ended and it just got laggier and laggier. Within the hour there will be 2Googol crazy hug people. There is no escape.

Entropy by Supercannon 2013-08-28T15:44:00

Nice!

Reload by zn01wr 2013-09-07T22:52:00

Came here because of your awesome avatar, stayed for the game!

Crazy Genetist by ratalaika 2013-08-30T03:29:00

Interesting game, but the 10 seconds is too short for this. It feels like you need to be very lucky to get the right tiles.

QuickHunt by MvdLaar 2013-08-27T16:31:00

Beautiful!

10 Second Sculptor by nathanhoffer 2013-09-06T21:44:00

Very nice game! At first I thought it was easy, and was going to be too easy, but you ramped up the difficult quite nicely and the levels got nice and hard. Bookmarking!

Kitty Force 10 by Raiyumi 2013-09-14T13:00:00

Practically a fully polished finished game? How do you do it?
Very nice, I especially loved the animations.

PolyBlade by nastynate 2013-08-29T02:02:00

Also having trouble on mac, will try from source in a moment.

PolyBlade by nastynate 2013-08-29T02:08:00

For people on MacOS, if you have the LÖVE engine downloaded, you can just zip the contents of the folder, rename the archive.zip to <anything>.love, and then run that.

Quite a nice game!

Lost in the Darkness by TobiasW 2013-09-02T01:01:00

I remember seeing a progress post for this sometime during the compo. It's very nice!
Art wise, I think it would be more ominous looking if the eyes were just eyes, and would simply blink back into being in the darkness instead of running away in the light and looking small and helpless.

I'll take it down.... Or just forget that this was ever created. by GamehubDev 2013-08-26T15:28:00

I can't quite figure out what I'm supposed to do, but all the weapons are very polished.

Starship Physics by cwkx 2013-08-30T13:37:00

I like this game, although the title is not very fitting. Your physics are no startship physics, so much as tank physics. Good nonetheless!

Legend of Epikouros by Erhune 2013-09-01T23:34:00

Amazing!

Ghost Pirate's Ship of Treasures by immanuela 2013-09-14T20:51:00

I eventually got stuck, but it was fun before that. I liked trying to work myself out of the debt I built up early on, and the music and sounds were very nice.

Summer Death Olympics by bufbot 2013-09-16T23:50:00

The single player version is practically pointless, but playing against myself was a bit more interesting, I don't really like button spammers though.

Mind-Controlled Monster by Todnut 2013-08-26T15:47:00

I got all 31 bananas too! Really fun, would probably be an successful mobile game. (You should port it and make more levels and make a meeelion dollars.)

LEGACY by DanHayesGamer 2013-09-17T00:00:00

Love the mood, but it feels too slow. I didn't make much progress, and at first didn't even understand that you could stay with the little fish. Interesting game overall.

Particle Fighter by Tym0r 2013-08-29T01:39:00

It's too hard to tell what's going on, since you aren't really differentiated from your bullets, and they're barely differentiated from your enemies. Even so, I really enjoyed bouncing around the screen spamming everywhere, the particle effects look nice, and the sounds are nice, it's just difficult to play very deliberately.

Life'Short by fgielow 2013-08-30T03:26:00

Seems nice, but I had a hard time enjoying it because the controls were so strange. It made the interaction feel clunky.

The Duellists by jay griffin 2013-08-31T21:17:00

I love that you can shoot their hats off! So great!

The Duellists by jay griffin 2013-08-31T21:21:00

Haha! Won 2, Lost 2, Tied 1!

Fast Explorer by Acrimiens 2013-08-26T15:05:00

Pretty fun, but I have a few complaints.
Level 2 seems a bit arbitrary, it's hard to figure out what to do.
Level 4 breaks the previous theme of only using the lens flare for the goal, so that causes some confusion.
Level 5 has a missing collider, and seems to be unbeatable.

10 Second Skafgatch by VeloSpectre 2013-09-07T23:01:00

Pretty good artwork, but after a few rooms it all felt the same.

SUPER NUKE ROMAN EMPIRE by brogrammers 2013-08-28T21:50:00

I also did a pixel-art branching path game! Yours branches way better than mine though. Good job, nice replay value.

Boom in 10 by okmmjyygv 2013-08-28T15:01:00

I found the guards very annoying, since there was no warning of them getting suspicious. I suppose that's realistic though!

The 10 (other) Seconds Journey by PaperBlurt 2013-09-14T21:19:00

Very frustrating when I get sent back from near the end, I wish you'd put some checkpoints.

Cosmic Commander by UnorthodoxGames 2013-09-14T21:25:00

Managed to win immediately after my last ship was destroyed. Love the art, fun game.

I do wish you had some keyboard shortcut for next.

Cosmic Commander by UnorthodoxGames 2013-09-14T21:25:00

Oh wait you do have one.

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-09-16T21:29:00

Seems like an interesting game, but the controls need a lot of work.

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-09-16T23:46:00

I managed to get to the predators (the controls aren't as bad as I thought, they're just not very standard), but the predators were too hard to catch.

Freeze Box by SamC 2013-08-26T21:29:00

Running mac. I really wish I could play, the lighting looks beautiful.

Freeze Box by SamC 2013-08-26T21:31:00

Am I allowed to rate the graphics solely based on the screenshots? I want to.

Freeze Box by SamC 2013-08-30T02:49:00

Yay! A mac port!

Freeze Box by SamC 2013-08-30T02:54:00

Wow! It was as great as the screenshots suggested, and not only the graphics! Nice puzzles (probably should be harder and more controlled though), nice controls.

Valdo by DvigubaiPiktas 2013-08-26T19:38:00

I managed to play the first few levels, but it started getting laggier and laggier, and then my computer crashed.

Hourglass by DoubleS 2013-08-31T22:48:00

Fun, but the instakill balls felt a bit unfun. I never once had trouble with the timer, because the balls would always kill me.

GridBall by Tinard 2013-08-26T20:21:00

I wish that it would reset when you fell off the edge, and that you could skip the memorization. It's quite an interesting idea and pretty well put together.

Defuse in 10 seconds by archaeometrician 2013-08-30T18:25:00

Nice! It's hard to type things which aren't words fast. And now my typing is all weird from doing it.

And why does 10 seconds draw everyone to bombs, anyway?

THE WHiTE ROOM by CScribes 2013-08-28T14:49:00

Why isn't the file public? I can't play the game unless you give me permission.

Poisoned Wizards by HauntedSoul 2013-09-14T21:57:00

The game needs quite a bit of work, but I love the story!

Time Rupture by Tanser 2013-08-27T17:00:00

Nice game. Pretty simple and fun, but gets repetitive once you've beaten 5 or 6 levels.

Regressive by Submundo Games 2013-08-30T13:56:00

Loved the graphics and animation, I had a hard time seeing some of the platforms in game though.

Defuse The Bomb by jglrxavpok 2013-08-28T14:56:00

I saved that day! Very nice controls.

10 Seconds Before Flush by Geeks-n-chicks 2013-08-26T21:27:00

It seems too hard to avoid the obstacles.

Brainwash by ShitAndSon 2013-08-26T23:13:00

You can have a unity game play directly in the browser by putting it in a dropbox public folder (If you want to try this, consider using my link here: http://db.tt/QSPSy2Uh), right clicking on the html and doing "Copy public link", and then using that link.

I can't get the mac version to work, but if you get an actual web build online I'd love to play this.

Insomniac by AidanAK47 2013-09-07T14:44:00

That was terrifying. I'm dissapointed that I can't rate this higher for mood, because on the scale I've been rating, this is the highest by FAR. Anyway, it doesn't seem so much like a game, I don't really control anything, but it's absolutely wonderful writing, and it wouldn't work without the images and music.

A Maze Thing by TeamAMazeThing 2013-08-31T22:08:00

It's too laggy to play for very long for me, but I like the map generation a lot.

Antidote by Antidote 2013-09-14T13:33:00

I didn't get the point of the money, and there wasn't enough contrast in the art in some areas, but the guns were juicy, and lots of things look really nice.

10 Seconds to Die by Ret44 2013-08-28T23:12:00

I love that you can shoot yourself in the head, and I love the way the characters are made. I would've liked the character textures to be a bit higher resolution though, that'd be my biggest complaint.

BeautyIsTheBeast by Valandre 2013-09-06T21:53:00

Beautiful game, nice music (although a bit repetitive). The art reminded me of nintendo game, and the controls of pac-man. (I think it would be even more fun with a joystick) One thing that I would change, is maybe make the viewpoint a bit higher up.

BLAM BLAM PLANET by ratking 2013-08-30T14:40:00

Beautiful game! I love the black-holer, and orbiting the planet with the recoiler.

Off Balance by pragmascript 2013-08-28T23:02:00

Nice, simple game. Would have liked if you had disabled compression on the lightmap, but it might've been worth it for download times.

Vampire The Buffet Slayer! by danhett 2013-09-07T15:05:00

Haha! Great title!

10 Second Tactics by Schwiggy 2013-08-26T17:36:00

Nice game. I'm also experiencing the problem Zeppelin Captain describes.

10 Sec Hero by StabAlarash 2013-08-31T23:04:00

Quite a nice game! Very much enjoyed it, but it does take some time to figure out that you keep items between games. You might want to add that as a note somewhere.

Orction House Panic by Dry Tree 2013-09-06T21:35:00

Great game! I had to play it a few times to finally win, but there were enough items that there was new fun each time!

The only one by JaJ 2013-08-26T16:30:00

That was the best game I've played so far. My one complaint is that it's really hard to get to daisy. If you don't do lots of diagonal walking, I think it might be impossible.

Keep Flying by bushmango 2013-09-06T22:29:00

I loved the "Remember to work together, as a space team, except you're alone"

That was great, don't know how many other people got the reference.

Save me from your dream by LonelyTimeLord 2013-09-07T16:19:00

Nice game, I both like and dislike the cutscene at the beginning of the level. It adds some tension, but it also feels like its' getting in the way of playing.

Project: "Explosion" by Simple Ghost 2013-08-26T14:51:00

It's quite fun, but I wish it would stay normal speed until right before the explosion went off. The slow-motion just forces you to wait too long, and the controls feel a bit awkward when you're not dodging shrapnel.

Mission Luna by LTyrosine 2013-09-07T15:15:00

Great ship! I'm a bit disappointed with the engineer who designed my viewports, but I think that's realistic.

WindBuilder by Per 2013-09-14T22:16:00

Very innovative!

Back to you by Mesene 2013-09-17T00:07:00

Haha! Love the ending.

Grassroots Samba by atuun 2013-09-17T00:27:00

Sometimes "null" would pop up. It's quite a fun game though! Loved the music and art, and quite funny. Very nice entry.

The 10-Second Murder by Rose 2013-08-27T15:05:00

Very fun!

Dungeon Run: Gauntlet by N427 2013-08-26T23:43:00

Nice! I agree with Falcon, some audio would make this game really good.

Hello Dr. Steiner! by PapyPilgrim 2013-09-14T21:44:00

ROBOT PLANET by GeorgeBroussard 2013-09-02T01:05:00

LD28 — You Only Get One

N . D by davisan 2013-12-22T00:59:00

Looks really nice! I like the story and you art especially. Sometime though, the rope didn't behave like I wanted it to. (Maybe it doesn't work in midair or something, in any case... ) the rope felt inconsistent at times.

Cowboy Conundrum by floorman 2013-12-19T01:38:00

If you used Unity, why not publish it for platforms besides Windows? I'd love to play it if you put it on mac or web.

The Social Avarice of an Adult Mayfly by Several 2013-12-19T02:22:00

Quit interesting, I liked planning for all of the different people, but I didn't really feel any payoff to it. Probably because I didn't understand how to play during the party.

Charon by jerombd 2013-12-19T00:24:00

Pretty interesting, I really like the graphics, but it took me a while to figure out how it worked. I suppose it fits the mood of the river styx, but I felt like I was fumbling about randomly for most of it.

The Lonely Girl by kewry 2013-12-19T02:29:00

Quite a nice story! It's a shame you didn't manage to add graphics to it.

CUOP DO SACI by leparlon 2013-12-22T02:29:00

I got to 2m! Great fun, far harder than QWOP itself.

Captain Sarah by Geti 2013-12-19T02:17:00

Really great game! I loved having control of the captain as well as the ship.
It'd be nice to have space stations for resupply rather than just a dialogue that appears out of nowhere though.

The Replicorp Heist by porglezomp 2013-12-19T01:51:00

Hi guys, by the second day I was quite aware that it was too ambitious, but I really didn't have any other ideas, I also wasted to much time on the art. Those of you who can't use the webplayer, I'll submit some standalone applications tonight.

Teleport Hopper by MrBlade 2013-12-16T03:50:00

It's great to watch you improve! A jumping game like this definitely needs better gravity and jumping, but you did quite well with what you could manage.

Also, I had a bit of fun porting it. Hope you like it.

One Sky by Kep 2013-12-22T02:49:00

It was hard to tell how what I was doing was having any effect. Often settlements would just pop up in the middle of forests? I don't quite get it.
Interesting though, and the art wasn't too bad, don't worry.

YOGO Cubes by Tym0r 2013-12-19T01:34:00

I liked it quite a lot! The graphics are nice, the music is soothing, and at first glance the AI is pretty good. After a bit of examination it becomes pretty obvious that the AI is bad at focusing on multiple fronts at once, but I still had some interesting battles.

Bounty hunting by vallde 2013-12-22T00:28:00

Great game! Jim was a boss worthy of mario (and quite reminded me of some of the Bowser fights in Super Mario Galaxy)
10/5 for humor. (Although I didn't see the "...nvm" the first time through, and it was a bit weird)

Earth by george_prosser 2013-12-16T03:58:00

Love the game! Took me a bit (second playthrough) to realize that you used the mouse to shoot. The effects were very juicy (CAMERASHAKE), especially the end. A very good entry overall.

One way out by lennaert 2013-12-19T01:49:00

There's a typo in your controls, it says that q is jump but w actually jumps.
Quite a nice artstyle, it's a shame that I don't get to beat it.

One Hot Potato by Tomski 2013-12-19T01:14:00

Launches to a black screen and then quits with no error messages here on OS X Lion.

You only get 1111 by funktor 2013-12-21T23:28:00

I get a segfault when I try to play it here on OS X Lion.

One Arrow by 7elephants 2013-12-22T00:16:00

Great game, I played it for quite a long time. I was a bit confused about what were platforms though, and I didn't realize until about wave 5 that you could jump up on the branches on the right.

Single Load by willstall 2013-12-19T01:01:00

Pretty fun; nice and juicy interactions. The constant tumbling was quite frustrating at times though, when I would find the right one and then it would get carried offscreen.

Single Load by willstall 2013-12-19T01:03:00

Also, if it actually requires right click, you should republish it for web with the context menu disabled, it gets in the way of the right clicking.

Boomerang Battle by Lafolie 2013-12-22T01:06:00

I played about 4 floors, but I lost a boomerang across a pit and had no way to get it back. It was pretty fun up until then though!

Nero Is Falling by LeafThief 2013-12-19T00:55:00

Seems really fun! I was just talking with one of my friends about the Knights and Knaves puzzles a few days ago, so I think I'm going to come back to this one with some paper and try to win.

Arrow by TyrusPeace 2013-12-19T00:49:00

It looks very nice and seems interesting, but I can't get the hang of killing them. I managed to run past the whole mob. I'd suggest focusing on making fighting individuals more interesting, rather than throwing groups at the player.
Pretty good.

Spectral Sword by kratorspore 2013-12-19T01:10:00

That was very fun! I haven't really played the classic dungeon crawlers, but it reminds me of Legend of Grimrock, so you're doing it right.
That said, it is quite frustrating to get your attack all lined up right a long way into the dungeon and then attack when the enemy is one tile too far away and lose all your progress. I think it'd be a more fair punishment for _missing_ to just lose all your charge and have to run away to recharge again.

TITAN SOULS by Claw 2013-12-22T00:42:00

Amazing and beautiful, I loved the music and the art and animation and everything. But having to walk back to the bosses every single time I died was nothing except HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING. Having to walk through a maze 15 times to fight a boss who is insanely difficult simply makes it less fun, but I really don't know how you could have handled it without making death meaningless.

Frustrating, but one of the best so far.

Fountain by Terry 2013-12-22T00:51:00

It feels so sad.
And was it just me, or did the fountain get weaker and weaker every time I used it?

Monocraft by MaTX 2013-12-21T23:54:00

Really nice idea! It's too bad that there's not enough input for people to coordinate on much more than the simplest structures, but it's an interesting concept.

UNDERDEEP by GeorgeBroussard 2013-12-22T02:36:00

Pretty nice, but it felt like it'd be a rogue-like and then it let me down. I wanted to manage my inventory!

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

I Contemplated the Sun of Limbo by Evilion 2014-05-05T21:46:00

I destroyed the sun! This is really interesting, you should call it an interactive poem, if you want to call it a poetic (not)game.

Doomsday Bunker by ZYXer 2014-05-04T23:34:00

At some point the air raids got so frequent there was literally nothing I could do (I played for almost half an hour,) and so I just had to sort of give up. One of the best games this LD!

our god lives underground by Andrew Shouldice 2014-05-03T00:51:00

WOW. This is the one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. For 48 hours, it's amazing.

A Glorious Escape for A Lich King by Benjamin 2014-05-05T00:03:00

BEAUTIFUL game. It was hard to figure out that the goblins were bringing me the money, I thought they were just wandering around, but other than that it's really great!

Delve by conormn 2014-05-04T22:48:00

This is absolutely beautiful!
It needs to be longer.

Seamless by Jeffalisk 2014-04-28T02:48:00

It looks really nice, it looks like it has nice potential! What were you planning to do with it?

A boy and his Hellworm by orangepascal 2014-05-05T00:08:00

Really great! 100% boss battling fun!

Klein Bottle Asteroids by bucketh3ad 2014-04-28T02:45:00

This seems really interesting but it's SO HARD. I think only having one bullet at a time makes it a bit unfair. I never got past rectangle, but it was a nice challenge.

Klein Bottle Asteroids by bucketh3ad 2014-05-05T22:06:00

That was really fun! I'm glad I came back to play it. I managed to get to Möbius on the normal version, and played all the way through the caffeinated version. That's some really cool game mechanics.

Fathoms by dook 2014-04-29T23:03:00

Ha! This is really cool! I loved the sound, and the little blinking tags were great. This is a pretty fun game, and could really become awesome! (I might buy it with some more animals, some improved graphics, and a little bit more depth of play.)

The Core Eaters by porglezomp 2014-04-28T13:08:00

@ENDESGA I plan on working on it more! I have some ideas that could make it way more fun.
@BallpointPress Thanks, I didn't have enough time to tweak the thrust, it was better earlier.
@WetDesertRock Yeah, the enemies aren't smart enough to chase you very reliably, it's hard to make AI that gets gravity. You're supposed to shoot the red dots.
@MrBlade I'm glad you liked the gravity, I didn't add sounds only because I ran out of time.
@FuzzyWuzzie, I'm glad you liked it!
@tiffi_gaming I'm happy that you think so, it was sort of last-minute fiddling around with garageband.

The Core Eaters by porglezomp 2014-04-29T23:25:00

@jeffalisk Oh, it looks like you're right! I was fiddling around with the webpage and I must have messed up the javascript.

The Core Eaters by porglezomp 2014-04-29T23:36:00

@Spaceoff, the web version should be fixed now.

The Core Eaters by porglezomp 2014-04-29T23:46:00

@Phyyl, yeah, the AI is a bit too dumb to avoid the planets very successfully (n-body AI is HARD,) so you probably got lots of those from them crashing, but that does mean you're good at surviving in the gravity!

Office Simulator 2014 by FuzzyWuzzie 2014-04-28T02:56:00

Haha! This was great! I really loved all of the programs there. #include <NSA>

SurSpace by Lurieh 2014-05-09T23:47:00

Very interesting. I loved the music and the aesthetic, but it was a bit hard to play.
It took me too long to figure out what I was supposed to do, and it felt a little bit random when I was shooting at the ones beneath. (Didn't feel like there was a way to tell what was what.)

Under Riders by calvinsm 2014-05-09T23:53:00

I liked the sounds a lot! It could be really fun with some more dynamic graphics and more juiciness in general.

Loose by Once Upon a Team 2014-04-29T23:20:00

Really cool how the ground moves, I love it! The controls were a bit weird though, and my character got stuck once or twice.

Core Collector by mystakin 2014-05-09T23:58:00

This looks really great, but it doesn't work for me. None of my input seems to register (except for space on the start screen.)

Core Collector by mystakin 2014-05-10T15:13:00

@mystakin It's strange, because it's unity. How are you handling input, are you using GetAxis?

The Money Beneath Our Ground by João Kucera 2014-04-29T23:35:00

This game feels fully finished.

YOU GOTTA MAKE IT F2P MAN I GOTS TO PAY DE MONEYS FOR CHICKEN. (Just kidding, nice game.)

Total Tipanic by tiffi_gaming 2014-04-28T02:16:00

Man, that's HARD! I think the detection's a bit off, I have to click ahead of the fish. It's a real challenge though.

Beneath the Surface by FistBumpGames 2014-04-29T22:48:00

Man, this game's beautiful, but really hard. Are there checkpoints later on? Because I never managed to get to one.

Planet Corp. by Maschinen-Mensch 2014-05-08T01:03:00

Best game ever:
"Earth: Don't do it."

It could do with some more rock types maybe, put 'em on the moons of Saturn and Jupiter? The best LD game so far.

Fuel Me Once by 4026 2014-04-29T22:56:00

I fired a whole lot of the detectors, but I never found anything. I agree that the driving felt weird (I don't think I could drive backwards while on the platform?) but it seems like it could be fun.

Planet Breaker by AgeNt_ 2014-04-29T22:37:00

Man, this was really cool! I liked how you handled the digging trail, and boy are those enemies tough! (I should've gotten more upgrades.) Very nice game!

Beneath The Surface by adamwoolridge 2014-04-28T02:28:00

I like it, but I'm afraid I really don't get it. Are all the sphere's just to get in the way? Is there any reason that I shouldn't be firing constantly?

Word Digger by MattV 2014-04-30T00:00:00

It seems to accept lots of two-vowel or consontant-vowel words. It's really fun though, I liked the leaderboards, how did you make them?

Fishy Buisness by BooleanByte 2014-05-10T00:57:00

Funny, and pretty, but lacking on the gameplay.
It took a little bit to figure out how it worked, and then it was fun grabbing them for a while, but it ended up sort of being a fatigue game. Perhaps having fewer fall, but faster would be more fun, and also allowing multiple men per hook, so that my throws could have more strategy.

Kill or Kill by GreatBigJerk 2014-04-28T02:43:00

I liked it! It was really funny. It did feel too slow, and then it was really annoying when I got almost all the way through and then had to start over, but it was pretty fun.

Planet Dig! by QubedStudios 2014-04-29T23:17:00

Wow! I haven't seen shockwave in a long time! I didn't really get the point of the game (I guess you just dig stuff in here?) but I did really enjoy digging.
It did lag frequently, though.

White Warriors by Muu? 2014-05-15T12:53:00

Yeah, I had exactly the same experience as popogames.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Hypnagogia by Cake&Code 2014-08-26T02:24:00

I loved this, but I also had the same bug as LTPATS and BoaHeck_ArtGent.

The Salt Pleeease by ponk 2014-08-26T02:40:00

This is the most innovative/interesting game I've seen this Ludum Dare! And I really like the art.

Rift Knight by SecondDimension 2014-09-10T22:26:00

I really enjoyed moving around and breaking things, and the portals looked really good, but the levels felt pretty repetitive and it felt like some really cool things could have been done with the alternate world, but it seemed like it ended up more like a gimmick with not that many changes.

Gravitas by elemel 2014-09-10T22:41:00

Beautiful and brutal. "Can you wake the dead planets?" I cannot.

Delivery by Cheshyr 2014-09-15T03:26:00

This was really fun! It could make for a perfect mobile app with some more tuning and slightly nicer graphics.

ConnectTheWorlds by mrexcessive 2014-09-15T03:42:00

Look, the high gravity ones are nearly impossible to land on already, the virus isn't helping.

Haha. Really though, it's fun, and the help text is really really useful.

Earth Defense Team 2492 by Toestee 2014-09-15T02:26:00

It was fun controlling the fleet, they looked really nice as they moved, and it was very interesting to be able to change the spread.
First of all, it was disappointingly short. I know you had 48 hours, so it's obvious why.

I also felt like once you started losing ships, it would just reinforce your losses, making it even harder to do well. This kind of negative reinforcement doesn't feel like very good design to me, although it didn't kill me. I'm not sure if you need to worry about this point, to be honest, but it does bug me.

Also, it was annoying that I couldn't aim very precisely. I think my ships should be able to aim very slightly so that they can line up with the advancing ships. I don't know if this would be too OP, but it seem like it would be more fun if it wasn't.

I think this game could be pretty fun, but right now aside from the swarming fleet it's a bit dry.

Arched Dimension by Tanser 2014-08-26T02:45:00

I have to agree with everything nikki93 said. The art was GREAT, but the game design was dull. The fact that the portals forced you to replay the same part over and over again was bad design, and forcing the player to start the game over if they miss one jump is just brutal and boring.

Telecaster by vulpineblazeyt 2014-09-15T03:16:00

Seems like random fast FTL!

R.E.P.O.C.O.S.M.O.S. by Robber 2014-08-26T18:20:00

I loved the running and jumping, moving around was just so much fun. The aliens seemed a bit hard though, the only way I could beat them was to hide right on the edge of a planet and snipe from outside their range.

CheckPoint by DanqueDynasty 2014-09-15T23:03:00

Having a web link which just links to a download page is pretty lame.

Connecting Worlds by SojaBird 2014-08-26T02:24:00

THIS IS SO HARD. I liked it but MAN.

Spectral Sniper by Acuity 2014-09-15T22:57:00

Haha! I know it's not a proper game, but I like the ghosts, and shooting them is strangely fun.

Also, loved your music, best part.

Starlight by PixelFeet 2014-09-15T02:58:00

Was there some part of the story that I missed? Why did he end up destroying things?

It'd be nice to have the asteroid belt, so I could find Jupiter more easily. I never bothered to wander any farther out than that, it just gets too big.

I wonder if there's any good way to make it more navigable without making it easy?

Also, the beginning dialog takes too long, I need to be able to click to continue after 5 seconds or so.

Good News Delivery Co. by DragonXVI 2014-08-26T01:35:00

Excellent! I made the tremendous profit of -$800! This is by far my favorite game this LD so far, and since it's the first one I'm rating, that's not really saying anything!

In all seriousness though, it was excellent, good job.

The Circle Of Life by Tom Snively 2014-09-15T03:10:00

I want to play as the fox! The bird gets pretty hard, when the other bird is stealing your stuff!

Also, loved the sound effects.

Close Your Eyes by nonetheless 2014-09-15T03:33:00

This is the best, you need to make some more levels and sell this!

Grave Gravity by Jaenis 2014-08-26T19:12:00

This is pretty fun, I am now history's greatest monster, destroying all life with my supernukes. I feel like the gravity visualization could be cleaned up so that it doesn't wrinkle quite as much, and it needs to be more obvious that you can charge up the shots, it took me 5 minutes to realize I could.

Keep up the good work!

Sol by pikkpoiss 2014-09-15T04:10:00

All those people who can survive 4000ºF are tough!

Seriously fun game. It's beautiful, it's the right balance of difficulty, it has great dialogue (what little there is from the sun), the planet animations are kind of funny, the music is excellent. I think you'll be getting 5 stars on everything but the theme!

Sol by pikkpoiss 2014-09-15T04:13:00

Also, +10000 points for Kerbal.

Sol by pikkpoiss 2014-09-15T04:16:00

Just a suggestion that I think would make things more fun: Make planet collisions not destroy the planets, just make it a bigger planet with the combined momentum, and kill all the people.

Shit my Planet by Talvara 2014-08-26T02:10:00

It seems like if you reset the game, the harpoon doesn't work.

Great game! You need some better ingame instructions, and the connecting the roots feels a bit broken/repetive. Still fun!

It was beautiful and polished, but it didn't seem to go anywhere after delivering a lot of things.

Worlds Collide by Rage Paint 2014-09-15T04:02:00

Tremendously laggy over here (on chrome,) it doesn't seem like it should be, you need to look into optimizing this thing. Seems like it would be fun, but it's hard to play at 1/8th speed.

Haha! "You made some questionable choices, but at least you get to see this cool effect!"

I'm going to bookmark this and try to see some other endings!

Haha! It's fun to smash things. You should fix it so that you can smash the thing that you're pushed up against though, it was annoying to rush a fence and then have to step backwards before I could break it.

Hey, I remember helping you find cross-browser issues with this! Hi!

In addition to most of the above criticisms, I think one reason it feels boring is that there's very little variety, no real sense of progression in the tunnel. Maybe if the tunnel had some fancier graphics that changed as you went along — even just having different colors in the different rings — as well as some indicator of how far you were would do a great deal to help.

Tether by Jamage 2014-09-15T02:13:00

This is tough. I'm glad you added to options to make it easier, things like that are always a nice touch. What I feel is wrong here, is that with manual turning it's boring, and with automatic it's just frustrating.

Some balancing needs to be done to make this properly fun, perhaps making the connecter longer would help some?

Clashing Galaxies by lkr 2014-08-26T18:59:00

It's quite a nice game, although I think I found a bug where planets that I captured would start auto-buying radio towers.
A few things that need improving:
The interface isn't quite obvious enough, mostly the research. It's not obvious that's a button, especially since you should probably also be able to click on the number. There are instructions, but I didn't read them until I had completely failed the first time.
Also, it seems that it's a bit unforgiving when it comes to picking a strategy, since if you do the wrong thing at first, there's no good way to correct your buildings.

I couldn't understand what most of the cards did. What did the swap card do? Why should we play any particular card, because if they play the corresponding card, it'll happen anyway? The design makes the game feel quite futile.

Did you really make all the art for this? The TARDIS looks absolutely perfect!

I agree with the above comments, the jump physics doesn't feel very good, and it also felt pretty easy.

The best strategy seemed to be run really fast jumping constantly until you find the TARDIS, which I doubt you intended.
