That was beautiful...
Very crafty, such dig, wow
(why I am writing this in doge meme?)
Control didn't want to stay on the window so moving around was bit a struggle, but otherwise nice stuff
Indeed, quite hard game and somehow I couldn't restart it without reloading the whole page. This would be lovely if it would be slightly easier, maybe you wouldn't use any air at the dome? Also add Terraria style crafting like bigger air tank, better drill... drool... :)
Great game!
That was hot stuff! This brings me memories of C64 game called "California Games", really liked the mood :)
This was fun! Those destroyers are little overpowered though, there is no way to hide from them after they have seen you - other than destroying them :)
I also had those green lines appearing between tiles in browser and some animations would have been cool, but otherwise great little game :)
Really liked this game, great stuff!
Sadly can't get this to run. I'll get a popup saying "Could not find the main class: Starter. Program will exit."
Yes, that is known problem that sometimes flag might be impossible to reach. It would be possible to fix but just couldn't fit that into the compo timeframe :) So thought that just restarting the game solves the issue for now
And thanks! :)
PS
Player is beneath the water surface or that was my first take on the theme, though that is not so apparent anymore...
Yep, I kinda ran out of time, had to drop things like stats and making sure that levels are always connected, but great ideas here, thanks! I am thinking of expanding the game...
Doesn't want to start, opens a black window for a moment and then it closes itself...
Great game! made my first million quite fast, really impressed how you got this so far, I have had similar game in my plans for a long time but never got it even near this quality!
That was fun! Those three cubes at the intro reminded me of Zoq-Fot-Pik from Star Control II :) Also lots of Star Control II vibes there
Wonderful combination, reminded me of Descent and System Shock
Nice to see a strategy game here! Managing that army was quite difficult at the end, maybe some multi-turn "go here" commands would have helped
That was a weird beast - in a good way. A bit too slow maybe. Also props for the Linux version!
Great graphics, very difficult! It could be slightly slower at start, then player would have more time to learn controls at least :)
Really cool game! Liked the puzzles, graphics and mood a lot :) great work!
Nice little game, great graphics indeed :)
Nice little game!
Just made a Web port with emscripten.
@Mali, I updated my profile for Twitter information (Jaenis7)
@porglezpomp: haha, becoming the history's greatest monster was the very reason why I added all those counters :D
And indeed, there is some pesky bug in the visualization that makes wrinkles there, some day I'll hit it with supernuke!
And thanks to all for the comments! :)
Great game idea, quite hard though... (which is nice)
Web version controls make it even harder since pressing a button doesn't turn/accelerate constantly, you need to press multiple times, sounds like a bug.
Somehow can't get the score higher than 800 (Web version). Nice game anyhow, reminded me of Gravity movie ;)
Really strange game - in a good way
Yay, sardines! :D
I liked the game, great work - especially if this is your first released ever! :)
Slightly raw game indeed, but mood was perfect. I liked swimming around there :)
Great game! Nice to see a linux game here! Fun to play, last level took a while before I found out that I can zoom out with Q and then it was possible to complete.
Can't run this... First Java security complained that it won't run, but lowering security settings at Java Control Panel (windows) allowed the game to run.
And then it gave an error "Unable to launch the application": java.lang.UnsuportedClassVersionError: com/ra4king/ludumdare/factionwars/FactionWars: Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Really original take of the theme! :) Sadly there was no audio.
Great game! Also really nice take on the theme! :)
Great game! Some ambient music would do wonders for this master simulator! :)
Great graphics and atmosphere, damn that murderous invader!
Really inventive take of the genre! :) Fun to play!
Nice little game :)
Nice graphics, quite hard to play (didn't just get how to aim return shot). Feeding was fun :)
Amazing! Really good game, lost on my first "playthrough", have to try again! Great stuff!
Great game, nice adventure :) Really enjoyed it
Nice game, playability would have been a bit smoother.
Also I am not a platformer so those were really tricky for me :)
Such a sad story...
Really liked this one, touching
Great game! Loved the music and idea!
Somehow this was really slow on linux & chrome, had to make browser smaller to get more than 1fps.
Cool game! I was probably more dangerous to my sheep than those wolves :D Fun!
Neat idea of using sound to guide you.
It complains that msvcr110.dll is missing
Got it working by installing 32bit vcredist, great game! Loved designing the robot logic. Reminded me a bit of SpaceChem!
Great game, feels easy, bit isn't so. Surprisingly interesting! Great work!
Oops, forgot to rate last night just commented. Here's the rating too
That was something totally new! Great idea and execution!
Yeah, the flipping is a nasty issue. You could return back to menu and press restart - though that will kick you back to the first level (with current weights)
Sometimes just spinning around may flip you back to correct way up
Nice to have a trivia game!
However those imperal units gave quite problems... (in a larger game) Would be nice to have an option to choose between that and metric
That was great, loved everything on it!
Found a bug: if you zoom out a bit, you can still click those links (that appear on menu) even if they are hidden while the game is running.
Nice little game :)
Great idea of blocks having different reactions!
Transitions between states (like after ice block has been pushed it would slide to the target position) would be nice addition.
And if I restart the game after I have melted ice to water, it will stay as water - i.e. the level is not reset to the beginning.
Is it just me or can't one jump over two block wall? Gameplay was quite hard because of that, basically I could only go downwards... Otherwise the game felt solid
Cool concept, would benefit a lot of more animations. Maybe we could even see crew move about the ship, go to lunch, drink, do their job, etc... There would be lots of room expanding this!
Great graphics and cool execution!
Gets a bit repetitive though, maybe different ways to attack (a gun perhaps) would make it more diverse?
So cute, awww...
Really great animation and story! Nice subtle hints there
Cool graphics and I like the concept, I'd like more levels though ;)
A bit slow start but develops to a quite fun game. Would love to see more polished version!
Hard indeed... Some warning about incoming enemies would be nice, now you can be on a platform and enemy spawns on you and kills you
Nice game, cool idea of dog protecting it's territory and expanding it :)
Same here, just that white rectangle on black background
Great pixel art and a pinball! I love pinball!
Great job!
Cool adventure! Impressive to squeeze this into LudumDare's timeframe!
Great idea and execution!
Would be nice to see the current score while you are playing, now you just see it if you got new high score
Nice idea, little bit balancing would do wonders as you said :)
Great game! Worked fine without any glitches, transporting that cargo was fun!
I missed WASD controls a bit, they would have fitted here perfectly, also more levels would be great
That was "unconventional" indeed :D
I'd liked if you would have been able to whip enemies dead also. (that could make you shorter and game would last longer)
Fun game! Hard to survive longer though
Oops, clicked the wrong button, here's with ratings
Great concept, had some problems with moving the camera (esp when cursor went out of browser) Otherwise good fun
Cool graphics, but I really missed some audio... :)
Nice game, liked how you can use wrong projectile to stop them for a moment.
Button E for changing the was a bit hard to reach later, W or S could have changed projectile too
Such a thirsty bunch! Great idea! :D
Very good game! Enjoyed that a lot
Great game! :)
Nice game, quite complicated indeed as others have said
Great game!
Great game!
Try to make smaller pools to get better highscores ;)
Great game!
Nice game! Very hard for me though... But enjoyed it nevertheless!
Nice little game, could easily be expanded a lot! Like use mech form to protect yourself/civilians for enemies and transport them to safety with car mode
Great game! Very cool "I am about to die" effect and amazing bullet hell execution!
Nice game! I really like how drifting was done.
Keys positions were hard for me, I used one hand for wasd and another for 1234+space (due to laptop) and it was bit hard to drive :)
I loved the skidmarks too!
Nice little game
Fun and great game! Awesome execution
That was fun! Very easy to die, especially if you make a sharp turn and everyone collides to you :)
Plane was even harder since it does eat all the fuel instantly.
Extra props for the Linux version!
Very nice game!
Great puzzle game! Would work perfectly on mobile!
Nice relaxing game - until the long line of obstacles :)
Great idea! And execution! Fun game.
It would be nice if you could rotate the dropped parts for 45 degree (especially when mounting weapon to/under wing) to be able to shoot diagonally.
Loved how different guns had their own feeling, kickback or such!
Great game!
Really cool game! It felt a lot like Dark Souls to me :)
Great combat and atmosphere!
Nice little game, loved the animations!
It would have been nice if you could use up arrow to change shape back to previous, missed the target so many times
Great atmosphere and cool game!
Great looking game, some instructions what to do would be nice though. Couldn't figure out what is the benefit of controlling the robot
Great game! Extra props for the cool story!
Amazing gameplay! This was similar as "Portal" for me, had to think bit differently to solve those puzzles. Great work!
This could work on a mobile very nicely...
Great game! The music is really catchy, good pick for the game!
Managed to get all buildings upgraded and then I just showered all NPCs with money and all of them were happy. They'd need more demands on the "endgame" :) But that is not a complaint for LD game! Amazing work here!
Beautiful!
I really like simulations and world generation via rng, and this combines them both! Could just watch this for hours...
I really liked the atmosphere you had in the game. Maybe this was just a prelude for a much bigger thingy!
That was next to perfect! :D
Amazing game! Well done! Really liked the ragdoll physics and the concept is novel. Great work!
Nice idea! Using gravity (only) to pull planets from their orbits, very novel. I liked it a lot! Also quite interesting difficulty, since you have to create more planets to divert existing ones, and also those need to be destroyed. Really cool.
Cool game! Reminds me of Populous I used to play as a kid. Loved the interactions things did :) Looks like you could continue this into a bigger game...
Interesting game. I'd wonder how it would play if it would be turn based. Then reading the story would not be limited by the time (which kinda is problem now), but time would be spent on chosen travel method.
Great work in any case :) Cool game!
Great game! Had to play it on endless for a while after finishing the story. Great concept!
Such a Dark Souls-style storytelling! Really letting it open for player to try to understand it from behind the scenes. Cool stuff!
Great game!
Great implementation! :D You are playing a game while you are playing a game, nice work :)
Also good game there, thanks!
Really nice and refreshing game! :D You could be friendly or unfriendly, and both had benefits (being friendly seemed much better choice though, which is good). Such a gem this game is.
Cool puzzle game! Picking the correct type of river was quite hard sometimes, might improve if icons would be more clear somehow, dunno... Liked it anyhow!
Nice game! Liked the challenge of the black holes a lot. This was kinda minigolf with a planet :)
Quite a scary game. Took a while to work out how to use the audio however. Had quite merciless deaths :)
Great work!
That was great! :D
Bit slow start, but finding good places for houses got rather interesting pretty fast! I really liked the game :)
Nice game! Took a while to figure out the rules, some ingame hints would have been nice. Oherwise great work! :)
Haha :D Not a game yes, but who cares! Really liked this kind of "pause" from faster games while reviewing. Very unique! I liked that you did show the world image after drawing all components there. Calming experience.
I think this would be blast for 5 year (or so) old kids! You should make app for this. Really
Great game! I wished that one could have wrecked more destruction before dying to starvation. Otherwise very nice execution!
Impressive to see such a strategy/management game here! Amazing work!
Whoa! Played that quite a long, much better game than I anticipated! Amazing work!
I really liked the controls, they felt like Star Control II melee part (non paid ad: if you do not know that game check it's remake: The Ur-Quan Masters, it is amazing). That floating in space and collecting things was very captivating. Really well done! It is hard to create such an atmosphere in a game. Outstanding!
Very well made game! I liked it a lot! Especially the damage/difficulty progression was very well implemented. I liked how some hard monsters (like spider) soaked all attacks on the beginning, but become much more easier later. Great balancing work! Thanks!
Nice game, I wonder if web version had a bug, since it didn't seem to do anything when I got three similar blocks next to each other.
Great game! Loved the flying :) I just wished that bombs would have splash damage radius. And it would be nice to start player on safe area, just to let him learn controls first (took a while...) But really good work here!
Really nice game there! So many puzzles and unique visualization, great work!
Cool game, quite strategic. Liked the aesthetics and the colony management. Great entry!
