Super cool tileset! Loved the mechanics and how the level shuffles onto place.. The later levels got too tricky for me, i think the onboarding to the new mechanics can use more love :)

Simple and satisfying! i liked the visuals, they make the stand out.. Biggest area of work here i would say, would be the collisions, specially when the character sticks to the walls
The sound effect for the building breaking was a bit harsh.. I liked the approach of using levels as linked mazes, but it wasn't utilised much and the game was fairly easy.. There was no performance issue for me
I know that feel bro! The game reminded me of similar happenings when i played on arcades :) loved it.. although in reality it was much easier to do this
It took me sometime to figure out the control scheme.. also the main menu should have an option to instant start... i started liking the game once i was good at it, but still its very basic.
A bit more interactivity during fight might have made it more fun, not sure..

Surprisingly awesome looking! the game is way better than what i expected from the screenshots! the controls work nice, the only problem i had was that the character stopped moving sometimes when the character came too near to the mouse; obviously thats how it is supposed to work because, i realised it later..

Jump height sometimes bugs down, causing me to inevitably collide with the red boxes.. Also i do like to take blind jumps in pits :(
A simple and action packed TD! Loved the visual and the music, the meteors breaking my upgraded towers was irritating because it felt unfair, but i lasted till $705 on my first run
The color combination works pretty nice.. I felt the game in itself was a bit slow, but its cool to play
I liked the little town! the thrill to maintain the timer was fulfilling! i twice got saved on a near zero mark :D

Its my understanding that you are simulating the levels at normal speed and forcing time stop. Its a nice thing to do but what ended up happening is, some levels became unplayable for me because the bullets blocked every jump route i could have taken.. so i had to die and try again. Apart from that, i liked it

Good effort for the 48 hour timeframe. A couple of pointers:
- Let the player accelerate even when it is in the air. This way even if he missed the perfect jump because of colliding with an obstacle when the jump starts, he will have a chance of not getting totally screwed. It is only fair as the background scrolling never stops.
- Reduce the size and the speed of the squirrels. You must give the player sufficient window of opportunity before an obstacle kills the player.

Like the concept. You need to work on the feedback loop to reinforce the mechanics for the player. I died in the tutorial once and then the tutorial didn't show up again, I was sent to the game directly every time. I couldn't find the perspective switch 'Bar' that the tutorial showed me again in the game.
You should remove the 'Theme' rating parameter from your Rating entry. Since you are aware and have declared the game is not made to fit the theme, it will only help you improve the ratings for this interesting little game.
