I'm not sure why I enjoyed that so much, but I did.

I'm not sure why I enjoyed that so much, but I did.
I like it a lot. Kinda used to the game being the DM, and you getting screwed over than getting to screw over a bunch of adventurers, or perhaps just leveling them up, so the inversion is quite fun.
What the hell did I just spend my last few minutes doing? This is great man.
It's exactly what I hoped it would be. Collisions for the non road bits are a tad bit wide, but you made the compo.
Very, very well done and much enjoyed.
Cool art style, Interesting selfless health bar mechanic.
Holy crap this is awesome. 5/5 all the way. The werewolf transformation is quite cool. Hitboxes were a bit large, but past that everything ran smoothly.
Yey, fun. Enemies could have done twice, or maybe 3 times as much damage, but past that everything was great.
lcarpentier, It was written in Javascript and HTML5 with homemade collisions. Yeah, I guess I should have made the health bar more clear, thanks.
Thanks zurr. Yeah, there was a healthbar on the far right, but it was too unnoticeable. The camera jarring was intended, but perhaps not a decision. I can't remember why I didn't remove the split second of undefined, pretty sure I flat out forgot to. If I were to do it again, I still have no idea how to make it feel less like you are getting tossed in with no idea what you are doing. People naturally skip through instructions, so perhaps I could have done a tutorial. Thanks, you made me think a lot about how I could have done things better.
I liked it. Epilepsy warning might be nice though as it does flash a lot when you die.
I really like the instruction screen for some reason. It looked good.
Dammit Dave!!! Probably the only game I've ever played as a spike. I liked it.
That was awesome... I hope you make more levels after the compo.
This game turned out well. Last I saw it was a little after the end of the compo, and it vastly improved between then and the Jam. I like it.
I really like the tutorial. Generally don't see such great ones for 48 hr games.
I can't draw worth crap, so that really added to the experience. This game isn't pretty but past that everything is excellent. Seriously well done.
I'm still not sure what I just played but it was glorious.
I don't know why I enjoyed this so much but I did. I really like the concept.
I have no idea what this is supposed to be or why I enjoyed it so much, but I did.
Would be better if my poop was affected by gravity, but this is great. :P
I liked how the goat at the end and guard slid around back to the start and bumped into each other after I flew over the goat as a bird and pushed it. :P
Ended up firing into a green block at the exit of room 5, and it sent me through it without my gun and no way to get back into room 6. I really liked the art and the general concept though, as well as the level design.
I really like the art.
That was really fun. Not entirely sure why but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would have.
Wow, that was a really good experience. I do admit I chose to cheat and look at the source for answers for a few. I don't like slide puzzles, but I liked this, which is unusual.
It controlled well and was satisfying. Also looked good too. I really liked it.
That was awesome. Graphics were kind of annoying when trying to make a sword cause I couldn't tell what was what, and sometime stuff should have had a J and not an E, but I really enjoyed that.
This was hilarious. Arty fancy ldy madlibs.
Could have used different attacks than just the Z key so that it isn't just about using autohotkey to spam Z.
Ended up dying on level 2 and I'm not feeling really patient right now as I got a bunch to do today and I just woke up, so I decided that it would probably be easier with jacked up rps and 1000 lives, so I took that path. Initially I couldn't figure out how to get past the ZX Prism screen. Some sort of indication to hit space would be nice because at least for me that isn't the first or second thing I think of. I really liked the art and the smoothness of movements. My biggest issue other than the initial screen was the fact that the black text of the NPC was hard to read against the background. Other than that, I liked it quite a bit.
That was pretty fun. The movement was interesting and the spears flew a bit too far and I'm not entirely sure what campfires did, but I liked it.
I wish the mirrors were easier to control. That's really my biggest issue. The broken Latin instead of Greek really fits the entire spirit of Ludum Dare perfectly. It's sad I can't rate this game highly, but if there were ratings, I would.
It looks so nice. I can't really tell what the upgrades do and I'm not exactly sure how the flash feature does but it would be cool if it teleported you to the mouse.
So many items that ended up not doing anything. :( Was a cool little experience. I liked the art quite a bit.
Controls could be improved, but that was pretty cool.
Sadly no one was playing with me but I really enjoyed the movement and I think it's cool you got something multiplayer going.
Well that was cool. The dude chasing you certainly made it more interesting.
There needs to be friction on bullets so they dont roll until they hit something, requiring us to wait minutes, and there needs to be some way to lessen the power of the catapult after it goes back all the way.
The art was so good but the controls were so bad due to movement speed being way too high.
I can't seem to get past the first win screen. :(
I really liked the physics of the hostages bouncing around. :P
New link still doesn't work...
It is so pretty, and it is quite fun to try to figure out how things interact and what to do.
Highly convinced the music is intended to brainwash me into joining your cult. It's cool to have some awesome 2012 lore.
MAD ninjakiwi vibes. I love it. Seems like a cross between SAS TD and battle blocks. It would have been nice if on the first round there was an indicator which side the wave would spawn. I assumed it was coming from the top and built my defenses all wrong. Very fun game though!
It's really cool and really cute. I like how the dialogue works and it is a very pretty game.
The sound effect thing of the dude hitting you is hilarious. Couldn't figure out how to play or whatever but the sound effect had me cracking up.
Didn't quite make it to the end, takes more patience and skill than I have but overall very simplistic and finished feeling. The audio work was really good for setting the mood as well.
Not a very big fan of this type of game and usually they just abuse and aggravate me, but for some reason this one seemed more forgiving.
Neat little game. The physics felt a bit janky with stuff just kinda despawning, but the movement speed was quick and fun.
Took a bit to figure out how to get started, but then things made sense. Very impressive for 72 hours.
Took a couple tries to figure out what I was supposed to do and that I was supposed to eat trees. Was kind of annoying the game didn't autorestart after dying/winning when I hit enter and instead I had to refresh the page. It was pretty fun for what it was.
Super simple, super fun, and pretty well done. Reminds me of simple old flash games. Overall, fantastic!
♫Jeffery the turtle, over obstacles he hurdles.♫ Yo level 3 was wild with the two crabs and I grabbed my baby and I went in the water but instead of falling into it and winning I walked across it and fell off the map and now the game broke.
I liked the mood a lot and the knockback on the gun was fun. Wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to do.
I liked the unstable bullet physics. Couldn't figure out what the cheese did but had fun playing.
Cool interesting physics puzzle game. I couldn't figure out the first level but instead had a lot of fun sticking the rocks inside each other and watching them explode when I tried to place it.
I think this is kind of similar to what I was trying to make this jam. Had a lot of fun figuring out the power generation system and it ended up being a lot more forgiving than I thought it would be. Unlocked all the upgrades and managed to power the big building. https://imgur.com/a/N7axhm4 Very fun game!
The graphics and general art style are super pretty and fitting. I love the weird genre blending and the paper's please vibe.
The speed scaling with height mechanic is very simple yet very interesting. Not sure if I've ever seen anything do anything like that before, so it is refreshing to see such an interesting but simple mechanic!
Yeah, there's definitely a lot of QoL stuff I considered, like multisell that could be its own unlock but ran out of time/drive to implement it. Glad you enjoyed!
Loved the tutorial, loved the voice lines and the music and the general over the top action theme and puns. The main game itself isn't really what I was hoping for after how the tutorial set things up, which seemed to end abruptly, but given the time constraints it makes a lot of sense. It feels like I played a demo for a game. You should consider expanding on this game with some kind of story mode after the jam as the characters are interesting and the general game mechanics feel nice and it feels like there's a place in the world for these characters and this theme.
Wow, this is great! Sad there wasn't time to make an AI to fight against though. Seems like it could have some pretty nice depth to gameplay based on the tutorial if I had someone to play against.
