There is no game link

So much programming had to go into this :open_mouth: Not quite smart enough to utilize all that was made but I can tell a lot was done. Good job!

Well I played that way longer than I should have, got everything though! All the cities powered and all the research done. I will say, it was really tough getting started. Forgive me for assuming, but I'm betting you specialize heavily in the programming side of gam dev. I can tell that the underlying math is really well done. And the way the pipes connect, how are you making those meshes on the fly?!

I would recommend practicing on UI work. The game would have been much easier to get into if the blocks even just had their names printed on them. It took me a while to memorize that green = turbine for example.

You know how to make a fun game, now you just have to make it easier for your players to get to the fun!

@mhorth Thanks for the feedback! We ran right up to the deadline and we completely forgot to add labels to the parts.

The pipes have the connections as children objects that are enabled when something is placed in the adjacent spot. Not as fancy as it could have been but it works great :)

We plan to continue the project and finish what we missed, and will hopefully update the itchio after voting is over.

very interesting and ambitious game for a Jam, and also really enjoyable! a bit difficult to pick up but after a while it starts to make more sense.

A great start to an interesting game. Lots of scope for polishing and extending it with more time. Well done.

This is one of those jam entries that is more impressive than fun, and that's definitely not a negative thing. I love seeing this complex of a system built over the course of a jam. I'm definitely glad you included some guidance to help people get started otherwise I would have made no progress. The visuals worked well for this kind of game as well, nothing flashy, but keeping clear color coding goes a LONG way. Good job on this game and good luck on continuing the project.

I think this is kind of similar to what I was trying to make this jam. Had a lot of fun figuring out the power generation system and it ended up being a lot more forgiving than I thought it would be. Unlocked all the upgrades and managed to power the big building. https://imgur.com/a/N7axhm4 Very fun game!

Liked and subscribed. Looking forward to playing post-jam version again.

Looks very promising. Instructions sold separately

Was a lot of fun trying different configuration of the buildings and buying all the research.

I enjoyed trying out different building orientations and plant designs. I'm glad you posted a picture of the "basic setup" though, as otherwise I don't think I would have worked it out. I felt like the theme wasn't very well represented; I don't know if it's possible for the cores to become unstable, but it didn't happen for me! I enjoyed the humorous upgrade descriptions.

Interesting concept of resource management game. It was pretty fun and challenging to figure out how to build first setup. Remark on polishing the game: text look pretty small and hard to read on 4K display. Good job!
