This game looks like a lot of fun! Would you consider doing a WebGL build or Mac by chance?

This game looks like a lot of fun! Would you consider doing a WebGL build or Mac by chance?
Would like to play your game & rate/feedback, but nothing is there when you click on the link!
Really like the concept, dense gameplay is hard to implement in a jam but I like what you had! Better than my dialogue mess :( good job!
Really funny and in depth, I can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put into it! Haven't played a choose your fate style game in a while, it was very refreshing, good job!
Got kinda dizzy with the camera effects but I'm a :baby: so. feel like when I lost I didn't actually hit anything but I had fun playing, good job!
Really clean game, I really thought that the graphics and sound went well together! I thought the gameplay was pretty fun as well, I did run into the same problem as @mathiouza but I feel like maybe that was intentional to make the game harder? anyway good job!
Out of the games I've played so far I played this one the longest! Your team did a great job, really like the graphics and the gameplay mechanics. I will definitely give this one another play! Found 1 or 2 times where upgrade button lights up other upgrade buttons, couldn't tell if this was intentional or not. Overall though two thumbs up
Graphics are unique and I thought the game was pretty funny. I really sucked first couple of times playing but I got the rhythm! I understand the length/difficulty relationship completely, good job on the game!
Favorite game I have played so far! Really like the gameplay mechanics, simple and fun, congrats!
Few pros/cons from my experience:
Pros - I like the graphics and crafty intro scene - I like the concept of the game and that it fits the theme - I like that there is different settings for the flashlight
Cons - It is really hard to controller the character while also controlling flashlight angle & settings - With that said I didn't play for a very long time before getting frustrated - I hate rats.
I would recommend maybe moving flashlight settings to 'Q' and 'E' to make it easier, and also maybe auto pick up/drop off the rats. Overall though I liked the effort you put into the game, good job!
Not going to lie, I lol-ed plenty during this! Popups were annoying (intentional I know) but I liked the game mechanics and the idea behind it. Great job you all!
Pretty short but I mean I love me some power rangers so +1 for that lol Really confused about how you can lose, seems like a bunch of spamming wins. Would like to see per ranger powers or maybe you have to use the right ranger for an attack to be successful. (if this already isn't a thing) Anyway thanks for taking me back to my childhood, enjoyed it :smile:
I can see how much work went into this one, looks great & in depth functionality. Great time managment, good job!
What a clean game! I really enjoyed the artwork, music and game mechanics (even though I kept trying to jump lol). I really like to see games where all of these aspects come together to make something unique. I also really like the concept behind the game. Hope to see more games from you, great job!
Couldn't make it remotely close to 300, only 150. :disappointed: I enjoyed the concept and gameplay mechanics the most! Also cant go wrong with a 8bit styled game, good job on a clean entry!
I really like that you took a step back from your last LD and made improvements. This is my first game jam but I hope to do the same! I really liked the presentation of your game (art/sound) and I found the gameplay to be challenging, but in a good way. Your goal was to create a simple well polished game and I think you did just that, thanks for the game!
If I had someone to play it with it would be great ;) Really like the artwork and reverse gun game concept, great job you guys!
I really like games that make me forget that they were made in such a short time frame. You were able to include many different elements into your gameplay, all of which I felt fit your concept. The graphic style was nice as well. There are a few bugs but thats expected, overall a quality entry, well done!
I thought that this game was very well put together for a compo! I enjoyed the gameplay, if you wanted to continue with developing the game I would also like to see the features/changes that people mentioned above. As far as a game jam goes though I can tell a lot of thought/effort was put into the game, thanks for sharing! Made it to 4635 :smile:
Some pros & cons of my play through:
Pros - The 2D art & UI.....My favorite thing about this game! Amazing job @angelice-mora - I like the simple guessing game playstyle
Cons - None I could think of honestly.
I did lose a couple times, then finally won! but its all about the journey anyway right? ;) You guys/gal did a great job on this! Idea for improvement maybe: Adding 3 choices per turn & having 1 time abilities/power-ups you can use to knock off a wrong answer, skip question or give you a hint or something would be cool!
Overall though I think ya'll did a great job, congrats!
Some pros/cons from my experience:
Pros - I reallllly like the sound! - I also liked the graphics a lot and the different particle effects - Game play mechanics were smooth
Cons - I died after the round was over like @kleinzach - Simple balancing things are needed, also like @kleinzach mentioned Overall I think yall did a fantastic job! Things to add if development continues: More enemies, more weapons and possibly armor/power-ups
I like challenging games and this was one of them! Good to see other first time people, but you put me to shame, great job!
Some pros & cons of my first play through:
Pros - Really like the games title/thumbnail image thing, its why I am here! - Player graphics & halo thing at start are great - Game play mechanics were good once I checked the controls. - Would be fun if I had a friend to play, playing alone is interesting lol
Cons - On my play through I got kicked to home screen after first game over state (no end game screen?) - After that kick out I couldn't play again - Wish background/platform/GUI graphics matched the quality of player/halo thing - UI scaling issue when not in full screen.
Overall though I think ya'll did a great job, congrats!
Wow this is really cool!!! I was kinda skeptical at first but the voice command gameplay actually worked for me, and even picked up dialogue from a lady walking by on the phone lol. You guys/girls did a great job on this, really unique game mechanics. Didn't play for too long because I wasn't in a quite space, but will definitely come back to it.
Glad to see that you stuck with the code heavy route even though it wasn't your strength! Really in depth functions with a few bugs, not sure how you managed to do this in 48 hours, great job!
Clicked here for the graphics, really liked the style! Game play mechanics were cool but I found that it was kinda confusing for me at least. Good to see some other college students making games, good job!
What a fun game!!! I really enjoyed playing and it left me smiling, this is what all games should strive toward. I hope that more people get around to playing this one, I sure would like to see more of this game :smile: Great job guys!
I really liked the graphics and animations for this one and how you start out in the tutorial. I also liked the sounds but really wished there was some kind of music, but overall I had fun spamming to punch the ugly faces :smile:
It was hard, but that is not a bad thing! I like challenging games. I really enjoyed the mood set by the lighting and music. Congrats on a good entry!
@silvae all of it! lol Music was definitely last minute, thanks for your feedback!
@tinykidtoo Yeah sorry, really wanted to add more direction. Thanks for your feedback!
@aevek Appreciate it! I noticed the folder thing, really need to improve on those small presentation things & hints. Thanks for your feedback!
@traincraft Thanks! Hopefully will be able to improve on UI scaling, really confused on that. Thanks for your feedback!
@hadesfury Added controls/hints to description page, thanks for the feedback!
@foreverip Didn't finish :( would have liked to have added stats at end screen to tell how you managed your time. Thanks for your feedback!
@huitre @twainwright Added hints in description! appreciate the feedback :)
@falk-bruskeland Thanks so much!
@almostcthulhu Maybe should have added more direction/hints, appreciate the feedback!
@syv Sorry you found it hard :( You basically walk around and discover, check my description/hints! thanks for the feedback, I can fix the exit I think
@diptoman Thanks! check hint #2 on the description, it will help you out I think! Hope you play again, thanks for the feedback!
@tamas-turi Appreciate it!
@mrtwister Thanks! and I agree it is stressful, but worth it for me. I think both of your suggestions will be implemented eventually, appreciate your response!
@mspawa I understand the confusion! Im adding more in-game hints and crossing off the checklist properly. Thank you for your feedback! I enjoyed my experience as well, hopefully will see you around too!
@karreg I understand! updating the game later today that adds more hints/bug fixes, thanks for the feedback!
@peter-sheehan I fixed the ending, just have to update...really dumb bug lol and will be putting that up later today. Appreciate your feedback!
@gonutz Sorry, was doing an update and the link was down. Its up again now!
@sir-daniev Thanks!! I feel like her movements are a bit off too, its my first 2D game so still working out some things, appreciate your feedback :)
@junjunlowpoly I understand! It really only sorta becomes a gameplay thing if you shoot for getting a perfect at the end game. The progress bar thing was actually something I tried, but eventually dropped because lack of time/know how. :slight_frown: Thank you for your feedback!
@michaeltwg Cant seem to replicate this bug. Did you play on web or download?
@fangzhangmnm Thanks for the advice!
@sporeczek I undestand, appreciate it!
@geckoo1337 Thanks!! I'll definitely focus on more interactive game-play next time :)
@theaspiringhacker Thanks :) Yeah definitely a post mortem regret!
@brorawr Really appreciate it :smile: glad you got the hang of it!
@mianagames :thumbsup:
Have been sick the past couple of days :( @archimagus the timer thing is something I realized shortly after uploading and I actually didnt realize the clock message was still showing, so thanks for your feedback!
@danielilett thanks for your in depth feedback! I wanted to keep the game as close to the game jam version rather than to make it into a post version! I appreciate all your ideas :)
@jusw85 was welcomed back with some great review, thank you for your time! Not sure why the links are broken. Im glad you liked the feel of the game and I will put up a spoiler section soon clearing up some confusion that everyone has (unfortunately) :( anyway, hope to see you at next LD!
@philstrahl Thank you for playing my game and putting it in your video! As I can see it is confusing having seen someone else play (poor work on my part) Hopefully I will improve next time, thanks again for your channel!
Definitely agree with @tuism on the gameplay controls! Overall though I had fun playing and thats the goal, good job!
Simple, good puzzles, nice graphics and overall mood, while fitting the theme, such a solid game! Well done :)
I really like the game concept and the idea for the game mechanics. I think that a simple improvement for the game that would make it more fun to play would just be to speed the movement/shots up. Pretty good for a compo though, congrats!
Nice and well polished! Really liked the visuals and sound. The controls were confusing but not that big of a deal, at the end of the day you can just fly around, rock the astronaut and still have fun & a couple laughs. :smile: Thanks for sharing yall's game!
Nifty little game! My curiosity led me to the twist, wish there was a couple more visual things before the loop restarted or maybe a little more to interact with. Definitely like this one though, good job :smile:
Love this idea for this theme! Liked the gameplay after I figured out all of the variables going on, at first I didn't see the light on the platform or the things going through the air to avoid. Once I got the hang of that I played a good many times through, couldn't make it past 1 min though :frowning2: There are a couple of collisions that could be adjusted to make it feel cleaner, and maybe a gradual difficulty change as time passes, but other than that I really enjoyed this :thumbsup:
My favorite so far that I have played, and highest I have rated. Like every element of this game. Hope it gets recognized with the ratings! great job :smile:
Got the hang of it, it's simple and on theme. I like it!
Great entry team! :fire: My first game played/rated and ya'll set the bar high! Specific things I liked: the title screen & the song selection animations, collisions felt accurate and the songs were nice. I wish the percentage was shown while you are playing, wasn't really sure how well I did until after. Can definitely see the effort, hope others see this :thumbsup:
I liked this! Wasn't too hard to figure out, first attempt I got the two butttons, had to try again to complete it. I really liked the menu screen and the music, nice little puzzle elements. A little tuning on the camera but I had issues on my game with that so can't complain too much :frowning2: Good job!
Don't think I have ever played a rythm-movement game! Took a minute to get used to it but after that I sorta got the hang of it and moved along. Enjoyed the graphics and it fits the theme well, don't mind the difficulty. Good work :thumbsup:
So bad at conserving ammo :laughing: And driving if im being honest! lol I had fun playing, think I made it to like the 4th zone. I wish there was an easier way to bring up the alchemy window and interact with it, maybe with a keyboard only approach? also a little text to tell the possible combo of potion/ammo. Liked the game though, good job yall!
Gotta love a simple clicker game! Love the low poly look, animations and relation to the theme. Both times that I lost it was because the asteroid spawned on the other side of the planet and I couldn't click on it :slight_frown: also I had to zoom out when I first got to the game, the view was too big but nbd. Neat little game, good job :thumbsup:
I was laughing with this one :laughing: Once I figured out where the exit was I just started treating it like a speed run and swerving out of there as fast as I could. lol had fun playing, good game!
I played through 2 endings! Don't want to spoil any, Diane is a savage though :laughing: I had fun with this, I think it was my first text adventure that I can remember. Only constructive feedback, the typing sound can be loud or repetitive. Ya'll did a great job of keeping my attention, good job :thumbsup:
All the abilities are very polished and super ambitious! I spent a while playing just the tutorial :open_mouth: using all of them was kinda overwhelming, kinda just stuck to shifting gravity where I could. Looks like a lot went into this though, solid game!
Like your take on the theme, super random but funny, the sound fx are charming as well :laughing: I was zooming down the hill! Only feedback, I had some sort of shutter or performance hit every now and then, and maybe there could be some sort of negative thing to avoid on the hill. Nice entry :thumbsup:
Pixel art is smooth! is there a win/lose state? Felt like I was just rocking some vamps with different stuff, which was fun though. Maybe a scoring system of some kind if its an infinite style game. I like how the different objects had different stun times. Nice game :thumbsup:
So much programming had to go into this :open_mouth: Not quite smart enough to utilize all that was made but I can tell a lot was done. Good job!
Quick and easy! I like this idea, thought about something similar for a previous jam. Glad to see how well it plays, good job!
Love a simple game! Got some ideas from the movement mechanic, it was very effective at keeping my attention. Good job!
I wasn't able to dash on the web version or maybe was doing something wrong. I like the visuals and the puzzle aspect the eyes closing brings.
Really liked the graphics! I was pretty bad at this all around but I got some nice combos one of the times I played. I like the decision to make falling off a damage hit and not a show stopper :thumbsup:
