@Sprouts Hey, there! Yes, I know. The soundeffects aren't working for some people. I think it is because of some errors with the framework I am using (monogame). I can link you some gameplay of the game (with sound).
@dalinblue I understand your frustration. The game isn't a "fair" game, there are many places where you die instantly without seeing it coming (like missiles). Making an own level for the boss would have helped a lot, anyway thanks for the critic :D

@danielilett Thanks for the feedback. I understand that the placement of the jump button is kind of misplaced and I see why you would like to change it. My personal goal for the game is to make a game like "I want to be the guy", but not as unfair that you ragequit (Although the rockets are pretty unfair and there are no checkpoints). I will take all your feedback as consideration if I ever is going to expand this game. Thanks for the feedback, anyway!
@gwinnell Hey, gwinnell! Level 3 is actually the last level. I can see why it is confusing, but the goal of each level is to kill every policemen and human you can find. I know you've heard it before, but the art is beautiful. It's a really good game, and that you motivates the player to collect more coins, when it makes the level harder, is genius. Although I miss some sound and music. Too bad you didn't have time. The collision is also not on point all the time, but still it is one of the best ludum dare 40 game I've played so far.

@kolbjorn Thanks for the praise! You could progress, atleast sort of. The exp went less then 0, which was because of a bug. It's fixed now! The old version is called OLD_Intruder_Alert. And yes, it is allowed to fix bugs!

@automatonvx Well, glad that you made it till the end! You and a lot of others have suggested rebalancing, which I agree on, but it is too late to change, isn't it? Idk, but glad that you liked the abilities!
@raven Yes, it does get harder. Like it says in the description: The more EXP you have, the worse it gets. There will spawn more enemies and add some new ones!

The mechanic is very original, and the gameplay was very fun. I had some problems when adjusting the resolution though, because the text and play button overlapped, but the start up resolution worked totally fine!
Haha. Awesome art and that music is surely stressful (but fits right into the gameplay). When colliding with objects, you kind of slide sideways, which makes it a little difficult to pick up items, but it's really good game!

@asleepforthree Let me mention that it was a great game! Probably one of the best jam games that I've played this ld. The gravity force was a little bit too strong for my taste, although floaty jumping is never good either. But a little bit weaker gravity would made this awesome game even better ;)
