Ok that's hilarious haha. Most meta take of the theme by far. The games themself are simple but charming, and the art style is consistent throughout. Very well put together, well done! :)

Somehow the game didn't run for me (windows). I launched main.exe but nothing happens.
Wow, just wow. That was amazing. It's hard to believe that this was actually made in 48 hour. It was so good that I actually played it from start to finish. The gameplay is great, the story is great, and the art + sounds combine into a very immersive experience. Well done! Winner material right here.
Great puzzle game albeit poorly optimized. The later levels are quite fun and challenging. I also really love the sound effects that the little men makes haha. Well done!
One of the best looking submission so far! The animations are really charming! I also love the sense of humor, along with the great "hints" when you die. Would've been even better if it had sound. Great game!
Whoa 3 hours? That's amazing! Handling takes a bit used to but other than that it's a neat game. Definitely loving the music. Great job!
Haha this game is hilariously fun! Simple game but with a lot of polish. Controls, art, and sound are all really great. It definitely conveys the holiday parking spirit LOL. Had a load of fun playing this, great job!
Difficulty felt a bit too easy. I went to wave 10 (at which point it crashed) without buying anything since the bullets just go through all the zombies without ever stopping. The controls for moving things around also felt a little clunky. The art is cute though, and killing a ton of zombies at once is as satisfying as always.
I can't seem to open the link for the game. It's giving me a 404 error.
Omae wa, mou shindeiru! Haha neat little game. Got 189s on first try and 138s on 2nd try. Gotta love a good ol sailing & trading game. Graphics are pretty and the BGM is adorable, which definitely makes up for the simple gameplay. Well done!
Collision detection can be improved, and the main character's sprite seems to not be centered properly. It's a cute game though, and it's amazing that you're using your own engine. Well done.
Lovely art and great design in general. I'm not really good in platformers but it was a very enjoyable experience. Well done!
That's a really cool game. I managed to beat it on medium but hard was pretty tough! Seems like there's a lot to learn, such as which individuals to quarantine and whether to do a family quarantine instead. Lots of mechanical depth for a game made in 48 hours. Some BGM / simple sound effects would've been great, but other than that it's a really nice game. Well done!
It's unfortunate that you missed the compo, the game's really fun! The art style is lovely and I enjoyed the gameplay quite a lot. Fun fact, I found out about Ludum Dare from watching your youtube videos. I decided to participate and it was an amazing experience! So thank you for that. :)
Man I really wish this was on a touch device! Very simple concept that is brilliantly executed into a really fun game! Music is cute, reminds me of an old MMO I used to play. I also love how you can keep playing in the lose screen haha.
Haha controlling the body guard was really fun! Such a simple feature and yet it improves the game a lot. The only problem is the trophies spawning inside walls, I think by the end of my run I had 3 or 4 trophies inside walls. Nice game nonetheless!
I spent more time playing this game than I should. I love the FTL vibe, really fun! The little humor here and there is also great (please spare the cat). I did find a little "bug" though, you can easily stack up money by repeatedly ending your run and getting 25% interest over and over again. Other than that it's a lovely game! I guess I can retire as a Quantumnare now.
Really cool game, I made it to 87 on my last try. I think the key is collecting as many yellow blobs while eating all the black blobs at the start, since once you start getting 5+ black blobs stuck on to you (and block your eating holes) it gets hectic really fast. It's a really fun game! Art quality is really high up there, and the sound effects fit the game really well. Music is a little bit repetitive but other than that it's a solid experience. Well done!
Clever mechanic, clever use of the theme, and clever title haha! The art style is amazing and the sound complements the game perfectly. Such a fun game, I love it!
I just came back to say I hate this game. I've been playing it over and over again instead of playing other games. It's too damn addictive!
Very neat game. The art is great and very well animated. The music and the reverb'd sound effects really fits with the game theme. All in all it's a beautiful game.
That was pretty fun! Like other people I died a few times at first from the overheat damage before I figured out what's going on. Neat mechanics though!
Wow is that GM8.1? Nice haha. Neat little game, the music gets a little bit overbearing at times but other than that it's alright.
Haha it took me a while to realize there's nothing to do beside watching my followers go up. Or is there? I guess I'll never know. GG
What a cute game! I love the talking cows! Controls are a bit clunky and collision detection can be improved (I phased through the dirt walls a couple times). Music is great though, and the art is charming. Well done! :)
Fun game with a charming art! Good job!
The turn-based gameplay is really nice, definitely a neat take on the roguelite genre. Everything is simple and self-explanatory. The game is very enjoyable aside from the double-tapping. Art is lovely, and the music is a bit repetitive but fits the game quite well. Nicely done!
When I saw this game I was like "Collectible chooks? Sign me up!"
Really cute little game. I have no idea how you made the sounds so accurate LOL! Did you record your own chooks? All the different breeds are both adorable and accurate. All in all it's a classic game with a unique theme, laced with great art and sounds. Great job!
Interesting. I like how the only control is clicking and it determines your jumps.
That was probably the most fun game in the combo I've played so far. Got to level 8 before I struggled. It takes a while to learn since the game doesn't explain much, but it has some really neat mechanics!
Really cool concept. Just dodging and weaving through the cliffs in Zen mode was really fun. Graphics are really great too. Well done!
Classic snake game. It's simple and bare-bones but polished quite well. Great job!
@skibisky Your pencil gets shorter every time you dash! It might not be noticeable early on, but once you're past 40-50 pages written you should start to feel it :)
Shorter pencil = shorter swing length & knockback, when you run out you are no longer able to write/dash.
@skibisky Yep, that's the catch of the pencil dash. It's powerful but it ultimately lowers the amount of pages you can write. If you never use the dash you can potentially write 100 pages (which is really hard due to the weight of the papers, my personal best is 59 haha). So you have to balance out between using the dashes and saving up your pencil so you can write more pages.
I wish I could explain more of the features in the game itself (or add more visual indicators) but I was running low on time haha.
@sir-mr-dr-prof-sr-jr-phd Thanks for the detailed feedback! That's an impressive score you got, definitely beat my personal best haha. I agree that late-game it's near impossible to avoid the enemies without dashing. I'll definitely rebalance the spawn rate on the post-compo version (your suggestion to increase their speed is also quite good!).
The empty paper stacking up due to the amount of enemies late game is also a problem. I thought of adding a button that lets you drop empty papers but I didn't want to overcomplicate the game. Maybe I can mess around with lowering the magnetic pull when you have more papers and see how it goes. Thanks again for spending a good amount of time on the game haha, I appreciate the feedback!
@jk5000 Yeah the goal was not conveyed very well in the game until you get into the lose screen, which is entirely my fault. I assumed that people would understand from reading the game description here or in the itch.io page and didn't consider that some people might've missed that. Should've added some sort of a short sentence at the start of the game like "The editors are coming, write as much as you can!"
Thanks for the feedback!
Simple platformer with a cool narrative!
Fun game! I love the narrative and the priest's transformation. Unfortunately in the "boss fight" one of the priests dashed outside the room which prevented me from continuing. Other than that the gameplay is simple but fun, the art is great, and the audio fits pretty well (though the music could be longer to make it less repetitive!). Well done!
Haha I'm pretty bad at this, can barely manage to keep 3 modules active. Really cool game though! Probably the best so far in terms of idea, love it!
Looks like the best way to score is to try to collect the blobs in a way that it clumps into a circle. Cool idea, had a decent amount of fun playing it. I do wish that there's a quick retry button without uploading your score as others have mentioned, and it would be helpful if the bullet speeds aren't as random. Other than that it's a neat game!
Nice! A stamina bar display would've been a great addition.
Damn, the sound when you get caught made me jump haha! This is a really cool concept, I love it. It's really fun balancing the light and gets pretty spooky at times. Though as the person above said, the floor tile (background) moving with you does feel kinda odd. Nice game though!
This is so meta haha. So much truth in those clip-boards! Love it.
That was cute and really hectic haha. I enjoyed it! Nice one.
The blood on the lava lamp, the 666 selfie, and the eerie music is really scaring me haha. I agree with the people who said pausing the timer whenever a new feature is introduced would really help. Other than that it's a cool hectic game with a really, really cool theme. Great job!
Feels like I'm actually getting drunk playing this game haha.
Interesting concept. The ball physics is pretty good, behaves like what you would expect from a pong ball. The graphics are nice and the music fits the theme, albeit a bit repetitive after a while.
Decent amount of fun! The music is nice, I just wished it looped longer so it's less repetitive. Well done!
That character is adorable! The controls are kind of clunky and some of the hitbox seems off (going under the green water kills you, even if you don't touch it). Also I'm not quite sure what does the blue water do. It's a great attempt for your first game though! :)
Man I can spend hours in the main menu just waving that arm around haha! The game's also fun, it's a cool concept. I wish there's more incentive to steal instead of just increasing your score though, or maybe different "cash" values for each of the items. All in all nice submission, well done!
I love trading games! Running with 10 cargo while watching a ton of red circles approach you was the scariest thing ever lol. Really fun, and great sound effects!
Yeah I believe this should be a Jam submission, not Compo.
That was really hectic but fun! I love the little dialogues they have.
Oh wow that's really cool. I love how after picking up the object you have to backtrack the level but with the additional hazard. Seems like to complete it all you either have to be really good at platforming or know which pickups to take first. Really really cool concept. Would've been even better if there are some sounds!
Fun little management game! It looked simple at first but the longer I played the more i realize.. *the more you have the worse it is*. Only managed to get to Quarter 22 on my best attempt, but I had a load of fun. Well done!
Neat game! The handling of the character takes a little bit getting used to, but the game's really enjoyable after that. Crashing dragons into reach other and picking up all the gold they dropped is so satisfying! I actually spawned a bunch just so they can crash into each other more haha. Lovely game with a neat soundtrack. Well done!
I love the meta aspects in this haha, especially the fake intro screens at the start. This would've definitely been amazing if you finished it since the concept is hilarious. The music is actually really good and the "bad art" is kinda charming.
It's also nice to see a fellow GMStudio1 user haha. One thing I would suggest is to turn off the pixel interpolation in the global game settings, that'll make your game more crisp and a lot less blurry.
Controls are a bit wonky, It felt more like driving on ice than sailing a ship. Art style is great though, I like the little details. Gameplay is simple but fun. I wish the music was longer so it doesn't get as repetitive, but other than that it's a nice submission. Good job!
Whose idea was it to give rollerblades to these cats!? Haha I love it, cool concept! I gave up on the stage with 9 cats. The music pitching up during the countdown made it really tense!
Interesting game. The concept is simple but the execution was quite smooth. The art is also quite clean. "I stepped in something" gets a little bit repetitive though haha. Also as others have mentioned it seems like you can walk through enemies / pickups sometimes.
A bit laggy on HTML5, but the graphics are really nice! Nice one.
Neat concept. Very, very beautiful artwork. Sound and music also complements the game very well. Lovely game, well done!
Simple concept but the execution is quite well. The flash effect when a shape is destroyed is a little bit excessive, but other than that good game!
I'll never look at shrooms the same away again haha. That was really fun, great game! Artstyle is beautiful, music is great (and I love the effect when you start eating too many), and overall it's just a really well executed design. Great job!
Classic simple platformer. Not sure if the theme is there though?
And here I thought your previous game was great, this one is even more fun! I must admit I spent a little too much time playing it hahah!

The art and sound design is great as always, and the gameplay is really fun. One thing I would like to suggest is to have a button that skip/fastforward the slot machine animation, because at a certain point it takes so long to roll all the tokens you have (especially since it keeps giving additional tokens). Other than that it's an exceptional game, great work!!
Great game! I had a lot of fun! Really smart idea and executed really well. I love the audio so much! The study mode is also really cool, it's almost like body-parts collectibles haha. Well done!
Really fun game! Loved the concept of the bosses! Must admit I spent a little too much time playing this haha. As others have said some music and SFX would've made the game even better. Nonetheless it's a very nice submission, great work!
Really cute and simple game! I enjoyed it a lot :) The sprites are really adorable and the mechanics are easy to learn. As someone above mentioned I really like how getting hit isn't very punishing (though falling far nearly gave me a heart attack a couple times haha!) Great submission, well done!
The controls felt a bit clunky for a rhythm game. Great concept/idea though!
Good game! Both the art and music are really nice! I love luring the grannies into the water hahah. Great job!
@niterich Thank you for the feedback! @Vyolfers worked really hard on that run cycle haha. We originally wanted to fully color everything, but halfway through the Jam we realized we don't really have enough time so we ended up going with this style.
@vkmicro Thanks a lot for the feedbacks! Great suggestion about the zip files, I'll keep that in mind for my future submissions. As for the music, I don't really have much experience with it so I just whipped out something quick near the end of the jam hahah!
If you really liked the art do check out our artist (@Vyolfers)'s twitter page! https://twitter.com/vyolfers (Sorry for the shameless plug xD)
@Azargaz Thanks for the feedback! The desks are definitely the top killer for most people. We're planning to color it in a future update to increase the visibility which should hopefully make it easier to avoid them :)
@saoi-games Thank you for the detailed feedback! Unfortunately I missed the stream but your feedback is very much appreciated :)
There isn't much of a "story" behind the game, just a naughty student wreaking havoc in the school's hallway and the teachers and other students are trying to stop them. The guns used are toy "nerf" guns as evident from the bullets bouncing everywhere and the lack of blood splatters so I'm not sure if "murderous rampage" fits here haha.
The game mechanics are mostly that of an Endless Runner (see "Jetpack Joyride" if you're not familiar with the genre). It's less of a story-driven genre and more of an arcade game where you simply try to reach the best highscore.
The confusing micro-management is an intended aspect of the game, however we later realized that it was indeed an overkill. I wish we could add a better tutorial that explains the game better but alas, we ran out of time and had to cut a lot of things.
We're currently working on balancing the various aspects of the game for the Post-Jam version and feedbacks like yours helps us a lot, so thanks again! :)
@Iak Updated the description, thanks for the advice!
Interesting game! Some of the minigames reminded me of Undertale and they were quite enjoyable :) The ambiance music is nice and really sets the mood. Good submission!
Oh god I had so much fun with this hahah! I love the pixel art and the music switching was hilarious!! Did you make the music yourself btw? It's amazing!
Interesting concept! As with the commenter above I couldn't find a way to close the controls window and had to reload the game. The game also gets a bit laggy when too many mousies spawn. I really like the theme though, it's very cute!
Great concept and quite well executed! That boss is pretty tough haha. I seem to have found a bug on one of my plays where the boss didn't spawn and the game just kept on going with nothing spawning, but other than that it was really fun!
One thing I would like to suggest is to make it so that if you miss the beat by a tiny bit, you deal less (half?) damage but it doesn't reset your combo counter (similar to getting a "Good" instead of "Perfect" in typical rhythm games). Nevertheless it's an awesome game with amazing music. Well done!
This has to be one of the cutest thing I've seen on this ludum dare haha! I love the concept, simple but works really well. Some music and sound effects would've definitely make it better but nevertheless it's a great game. Well done! Now I need a baby shrimp in my life.
Really nice and well polished game! I got stuck in the 3rd room but that's mostly because I'm terrible at puzzle games haha. Great game!
Really interesting game. Had a lot of fun trying out the different combinations. Would be nice if the plants doesn't stack too much since it makes it harder to click on a certain plant. The game isn't very self-explanatory but it's really fun once you know what to do. Well done!
I see what you mean by "don't judge by the screenshot" now. Really fun game despite the programmer art hahah! Great mix of platformer and X-COM, had a lot of fun playing it!
Took a while for me to find the correct "push key" at the start, but once I get into the game it was really fun! Smooth gameplay and the pricess' animations are quite funny haha. Great work!
Fun game! I really like the little bit of story that you put into it, gives it even a better mood. Great work!
Really cool concept. Takes a bit of getting used to but it's pretty fun once you get a hang of it. Great art and animation! My only complaint is that I can't choose which tile to swap with, but then again I suppose it's a bit hard to do with the card mechanics. Also it would be great if there was a background music. Other than that it's a great game!
Edit: Just realized you opted out from graphics, that's a shame :( I really liked the animations
Haha nice game. Love the sense of humor! It would be nice if you could go to the next dialogue using space/enter but other than that it's great. The waifus are really cute <3
Simple and fun game! I'm almost tempted to leave the game running just to generate loads of corn hahah
