I like how simple it was while remaining challenging. Nice take on the match 3 style. Not sure how it related to the theme exactly. The graphics are perfect and the sound is great!

I like how simple it was while remaining challenging. Nice take on the match 3 style. Not sure how it related to the theme exactly. The graphics are perfect and the sound is great!
Very nice! I love the graphics and the core concept of the game. It's a bit hard at first figuring out shooting and movement but once you understand it, it's completely doable. I like the mood a lot in particular.
Personally, this doesn't seem to me to be a great entry for this theme. It seems moreso to be a platformer involving light used as checkpoints. And the platforming aspects weren't very innovative but overall I enjoyed the game.
The mood was perfect and I was very interested in the story. I feel like the timed reload you added made the combat significantly more engaging than if you were just pointing and waiting. Overall, great work. My only complaint is that it felt a bit slow, although that's probably because I kept dying.
Honestly I was pretty confused for awhile and I'm still not quite sure I understand everything that's happening, particularly how I die. I love the simple graphics tho and the concept is neat!
I love the simplicity. It's a bit confusing at first but very entertaining to play around with and figure out. I wish there was some kind of goal to it but it's fun nonetheless.
It seems like a really nice game but very hard to play on a trackpad. The movement felt too slow for me compared to how quickly you're able to rotate. Great concept!
Fun game! The graphics are very pleasing and I liked your use of the mechanic.
I was unable to play due to WebGL running out of allocated memory. It looks nice tho!
It's way easier to move side to side rather than upwards (the direction your rocket faces) which seems kind of odd. And for some reason it seems like when you move to certain areas all of the parachutes disappear. But aside from those issues it was really cool!
Really fantastic work! The particle effects are top notch, the sound is perfect, and I love the graphics. It's a great example of a polished space shooter game and fits the theme well.
I really love the concept. Great fit with the theme but I think it's a game that's extremely hard for people to get into. I know for me personally, the UI was a bit confusing. In particular, the button to get out of the Navigation menu was hidden below the bottom of my screen. I also think it's a bit hard to understand what you're actually doing but once you figure it out it's a really cool idea. I think with polish and a better on-ramp for new users (such as starting with only navigation and engines and then gaining new parts) I think it could make a really neat game. For such a short amount of time, great work!
Nice game! It's kind of hard to get into it and I struggled figuring out what to do but I love the XCom-style base building aspect.
Once I got the hang of it it was a pretty cool game. I liked how difficult it is but I'm pretty disappointed the leaderboards weren't working otherwise I would've kept playing to try to get on there.
I really love how you used the theme to add some depth to the choose your own adventure genre. Really fantastic work here. My only complaint is that the WebGL window size isn't formatter properly so the scrollbar appears and I can't see the whole game on one screen.
Very simple but great use of the theme and it was surprisingly challenging!
Love the music and the concept seems cool. I'm not a fan of how little input is required from the player. After awhile I just stopped pressing buttons and let myself just travel through each level and at that point it didn't really feel like a game anymore. I'm also confused how power works and what even happens when you run into one of the large brown dots. Love the simple art style!
Very interesting. Loved the art style and sound! It was a little difficult to figure out what to do at the start.
Really nice work! Feels like a pretty complete game. The graphics are nice and the sounds are great but sometimes a bit repetitive. I didn't like having to redo the same areas several times, but a completely understandable decision considering the short development time.
The lighting is really neat and the concept is great. The biggest flaw I noticed is that there's nothing stopping you from spamming shots but you can't just automatically shoot (or hold a button to do so) which is sort of annoying. Othewise, I thought it was pretty cool although I would've hoped for some other way to ramp up the difficulty aside from more enemies.
I love the graphics and audio! The writing seemed a tad rushed and weak for certain parts of the game but I enjoyed it overall.
Interesting concept. I really like how you get smaller when you're close to running out of power. I felt that the audio was pretty repetitive and obtrusive, especially when the music ended. The graphics were minimal and cohesive, but the UI is pretty ugly.
Great work! I thought it was really funny, particularly the hamster banging. One problem that made the game unbearable was that using the arrow keys also causes the page to move up and down. I also wasn't a fan of the fact that you can only move up/down or left/right with no diagonals. Otherwise, the graphics and sounds are great and it's fun!
Very innovative mechanic. I thought it was very clever and challenging. I'm not really seeing how it fits the theme but I think it's a dope game.
Very nice graphics and I love how relaxing and cute the game is. The controls are almost great but turning seems to be a bit difficult and often I found myself dying because I couldn't get the character to do what I wanted it to.
The concept is really neat and I had a lot of fun playing! The audio sometimes stops which is jarring but the graphics are great. I found it to be a bit too complex for how easy it is but overall great work!
I'm not a fan of the controls. I often struggled to control exactly where I land and would find myself jumping too far and dying which led to a lot of frustration.
I imagine it's a lot more fun playing against an actual opponent because it was way too easy against the AI. Very well put together, though!
For a game that was so heavily reliant on dialogue to tell the story there were way too many spelling/grammar mistakes. I did really appreciate that knowing Odysseus' story and some history helped you throughout the game. The enemies in the space shooter portion were interesting but I felt like the game suffered from being made from so many separate components rather than focusing on one singular aspect.
Hey thank you all for your feedback so far! I really appreciate all the criticisms and praises! I agree with the general consensus that the levels are much too trial and error. I had considered enemies and/or procedural generation as @huvaakoodia suggested but ultimately decided I wanted the challenge to purely be escaping mazes and I thought it'd be a good way to practice some level design. I felt that the lasers themselves added enough of an extra challenge.
I am very happy that people seemed like to like the music since it was all procedurally generated with tones.wolfram.com, but I made it waaaaaay too loud cuz I threw them all in in the last hour. I'm glad that people liked the overall aesthetic too cuz I felt that was a definitely a strong point given the fact that the only art assets in this game are a square and a circle.
If I were to remake this I would definitely spend more time designing levels that are actually fun to play through and don't rely on trail and error. Thank you all so much for your feedback cuz it'll definitely be useful knowledge for me in the future! I do game jams a lot cuz I feel that they're great learning experiences and if you wanna check out any of my other stuff here's a link: https://schu-box.itch.io/
That was a really fun, short experience and nice use of the theme!
Really nice work! Very polished and I love the sound effects. It's pretty challenging too but it works perfectly with the short play sessions.
The art and sounds are great. I love the constant threat of running out of battery but I wish there was something to work towards such as escaping or something. Otherwise, really great work!
I was very confused but it's a cute game.
Sharing battery power was a really cool concept. I was playing as both players but it seemed like it could actually be fun to play with someone. My biggest gripe is that I had no idea when anyone was taking damage because the health display was cut off. Eventually I noticed that they have battery indicators but I think there should be a more obvious indicator when players are taking damage. The movement also felt a little stiff but I love the idea!
I really love the mood and art style of the game. High fiving, fist bumping, and hand shaking are all really satisfying. My biggest complaint is that I'd sometimes be high fiving right next to somebody and they wouldn't respond. Great work!
Really nice concept and I thought the controls were mostly great! Moving the white blocks with w was sort of funky and I found it too frustrating trying to land on the black cubes. But overall, great work!
Not very fun if you aren't playing with someone else, obviously. And it seems kind of odd that one player can be off screen and unaware of where exactly they are.
Great work! Art and sounds are fantastic. It's pretty difficult to keep track of all of the various things and I'm not even sure what most of them do. I kept running out of power and dying within like 30 seconds even though I had both people constantly turning the wheel and recharging their stamina.
I really liked the sounds and the ship looks cool! I wasn't a big fan of the controls since they felt really slippery.
I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is super relaxing and pleasant. I love the music and the subtle sound effects as well as the brief animations when trees are connected/disconnected from water. Really fantastic work!
Really nice work. It's very fast and fun to play. :)
At first I thought I had to run away from the people chasing you and that was kind of fun. But then I realized nothing actually happens when you touch them. It seems like there isn't really any gameplay and they just follow you around? Definitely fits the theme tho!
Really nice job getting the online leaderboard functionality to work in such a small amount of time! I wasn't a big fan of the gameplay itself but I really love the idea that you're setting how challenging the levels are for yourself. Nice work!
Nice work. It's a pretty simple idea but very well executed. Very hectic and fast-paced!
My biggest critiques are that the map is way too large and that I didn't see how the game was becoming more difficult by collecting coins. I absolutely loved the humor, graphics, and soundtrack tho. Seems like a very impressive amount done in 48 hours!
It was extremely challenging and I saw a ton of upset customers but I loved it! I especially love all of the cool looking customers and their expressions. My biggest complaint is that the "tutorial" is here on this page instead of actually in the game. Great work overall!
Really great work! I love the idle action of the chef tapping on the counter and the game over scene. Very clever game!
I ended up getting stuck between some groupies which meant I could no longer play. The movement in general was a bit clunky in my opinion. I really love the concept though and it fits great with the theme. I also thought the music was a bit jarring how it restarts after a delay at the start of each level.
This is a very cute game! I think it works really well although I wasn't really sure if there was anything in particular causing the creatures to become enraged. The tooltips were very useful and I enjoyed how quick the game is paced.
I really like the movement system but I had one interaction that felt really off to me. I moved onto the exit expecting to end the level but then a mummy moved to the same spot and killed me. I dunno if that's intentional but I felt like I should've escaped if I got there first. Great audio and visuals!
RIght clicking to move is super uncomfortable on a trackpad. It was also hard to distinguish between the walls and floor at certain angles.
I thought it was a lovely little game! I love the simplicty of it and dragging around shapes was fun. It almost started getting repetitive before you introduced the little black repulsion thingys so great work there! My only complaint is that there isn't a timer or anything that can prevent you from completing a level.
Really great work! I love the randomized pitches cuz my babies all ended up having super deep voices that were cracking me up. Great audio and visuals and it fits the theme really well. It kinda reminds me of my game that's with chickens instead of babies: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/too-many-chooks
Really nice puzzle game! I absolutely loved the sound design particularly for the opening cutscene.
Very funny game. I really love all of the animations and how clear it is when people are slowing down and need coffee. Love the idea!
Overall great work! It took me forever to realize that the ores had to be delivered in the order that they're shown but everything works well, sounds good, and looks great!
Really well done! Fits the theme super well and it's a unique idea! I love the minimalist graphics as well and the tight hitboxes. It was very fun just dodging all the bullets.
Nice work! It feels mostly complete and it's fun for a few minutes!
It's very difficult! Great concept tho. Also I'll say that I really despise scrolling text that you can't speed up. It might be a good idea to implement functionality so that when the player hits space it displays the full text instead of skipping to the next one. Nice work!
Really impressive work! I love how simple it is and how easily you can pick it up and play. It feels very polished and well contained, the graphics are great, and the audio is very fitting. This is a fantastic entry. :) The only complaint that I have is that the controls aren't very intuitive. I think arrow keys might make the game a bit easier to navigate.
I really liked the style of this game! I wish the sentences were randomly generated for more replay ability tho.
Really cool! I love the combination of tetris and tower defense. Great execution.
Overall I really liked it. I definitely didn't have the patience to read all that text at the start. The music is fantastic!
Nice idea. I wasn't really sure how to create the various drinks. I feel like some sort of tutorial or at least diagram for making the drinks would be helpful.
I absolutely loved this game! The hungry chicken noises were definitely my favorite. This is a very charming game and the gameplay is really fun! I too made a game inspired by my pet chickens if you wanna check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/too-many-chooks
Really impressive for 48 hours! The graphics and sounds are great and the gameplay seems very polished. Seriously great work!
It becomes pretty repetitive a bit too soon but otherwise great work.
Nice work! Love the theme!
@misterstripey Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I've got a Silver-Laced Wyandotte as well and she's the rebel of the coop. :)
I just went out back with my iPhone and recorded them a few times. All the laying noises are from our Red Star right after she laid an egg. The long upset sounds are from a Black Copper Maran and she was making that noise because she saw a big bug lol.
@wujood I modeled all the chooks after one of my hens which definitely lays eggs. :) I also spent way too much time researching the different breeds hahaha.
@krasse The chickens don't want you to waste their eggs and for whatever reason all you have to catch them is a permanently hot frying pan. :D Hopefully nobody minds some egg shell in their fried eggs! And don't worry because there aren't any roosters with them so the eggs are all unfertilized.
@potti If you've got the yard space and dedication to take care of them they're amazing pets! I really do love everything about them. The weird noises that they make, the way they run around, and the fact that they often lay an egg every day all make me very happy to have them. Chickens are dope. :) Thanks for playing.
@sholf Thank you for playing! I'm really glad you liked it so much. I especially appreciate the praise on breed accuracy hahaha I spent a solid couple hours looking up the different breeds and making sure the colors were close enough. Yeah the laying sounds are all from our Red Star and the noise that happens when you drop an egg is from our Black Copper Maran. :)
@andrewjadams That's my favorite too! I actually have one and she's one of the two chickens whose sound effects are in the game. She was also my model when drawing the chook template. :) Thanks for playing!
@d-studios thanks for your feedback! There are actually three different noises played each time the chooks lay an egg and two different noises for dropping an egg, all of which have their pitch randomly altered slightly as you said. :) Although because they overlap so much it's hard to notice and because of the nature of the theme (and time constraints) I was completely okay with them becoming repetitive and annoying. I appreciate your thoughts and thanks for playing!
@jonasz999 Ahh yeah I was worried that might happen! Thanks for pointing it out!
@levismith They're hens! You are correct that roosters don't lay eggs. :)
The opening animation is awesome! I'm digging the minimalist look as well. I'm not a fan of the mechanic where you have to keep going back to citizens to re-alert them or risk game over. That made it feel more tedious to me but overall great game!
Nice work. As you said, it's a pretty standard and predictable game that fits the theme pretty well. My biggest complaint is that I feel like the gameplay would be more clear and manageable if it all fit onto one screen or if you could scroll with the arrow keys instead.
Very cute game! I love their walking animations and the entire concept of the game. My only complaint is that I felt like there was too much time in between cats appearing which made the game really slow.
Super impressive that you made a multiplayer game! It felt very unpolished though and nobody else was playing while I was on.
Very charming! I love the concept. The one part that I really didn't understand is why the animals go towards you when you get close. It makes sense mechanically to make the game more challenging but why do the little piggies wanna get reaped? :(
Very cool! I love the way that the environment changes depending on the dream state. I did encounter a game-breaking bug where I jumped and then took a nap and was thus trapped inside of one of the platforms. I tried sleeping more to get out of it but the platform wouldn't disappear.
The control scheme is a little frustrating since you can't move diagonally. I liked the idea but I just got lost in space after while and gave up.
Very cool! I liked how the level shrinks in on you like that.
Very interesting! I love the extending hand and how it's used in the main menu screen!
Really nice work! It was super easy to understand the game and it fits the theme really well. I liked the graphics and sound effects as well. My only complaint is that it took a really long time before the game was challenging at all.
I was very sad that there weren't more bosses to fight because it ended way too quickly for me! Nice little game.
I love the color of the leaves. It was very frustrating attempting to rake leaves off of the screen since a lot of the time they'd end up slipping underneath the rake. I also thought it was a bit slow but overall nice work.
My biggest complaint is that I didn't really understand what was going on. When I selected the choices each month I didn't see a change in money and I had no idea how it was impacting the percentages. Aside from that though, I really love this concept and I definitely think that with more time you could flesh this game out into something really really amazing. Great work for a short time and I'd love to see more!
Very nice game! I love the concept of avoiding coins and giving them to others since it's very counter to what most games do. Graphics and audio were great and it felt like a nice complete little game.
Overall I really like the idea! I think it's just too much information being thrown at the player right from the start and it might be beneficial to introduce mechanics/concepts gradually so that players can learn. I love this concept though!
Graphics are fantastic!
Clever little game! I was a bit confused as to why avoiding apples lost you hearts since I understood that you're meant to avoid healthy things. The graphics are very charming!
Great work with the AI! The game feels very complete and it fits the theme well.
The controls are a bit rough and I couldn't find a way to get passed level 2 since the platform was too high up. But I really really love the curse mechanic, the shooty sounds, and the colorful graphics!
Really nice work! I really like the movement mechanic since it's something that I haven't seen all that often. I do think it takes way too many bullets to defeat the enemies but otherwise everything works really well!
It was very fun to play! My biggest complaint is that once I started landing shots I barely had to adjust at all to keep hitting the same spot which made it pretty easy. But I really love the concept and I think it fits the theme really well!
Very neat! I love the concept and how you have to think about your size a bit. The text and UI in general is a bit sloppy in my opinion but my biggest complaint is that it was so short! Nice entry.
I liked how quickly it became challenging and it fits the theme very well. The sound effects got way too repetitive and annoying for my taste. Nice work overall!
Really nice work! I really appreciate how stray bullets can destroy the file cabinets.
This is a fantastic entry! I think this could easily be made into a full fledged arcade-style game. It started to get extremely hectic with all of the mushrooms coming at me and I love that they don't stop even after they've killed you. My biggest complaint is that it took me forever to figure out the button to eat the mushrooms since it says "A" over them.
Really cool! I love the simplicity of the overall design.
This game is amazing! 5 stars all around for sure. Great soundtrack, clean visuals, and it fits the theme really well. The leaderboard makes me want to play even more and the tutorial is definitely necessary! Great work!
Shift isn't ideal for a button you're pressing so often. The graphics and sound effects are fantastic!
I had absolutely no idea what was going on. But it was a cool idea and I really enjoyed the audio and atmosphere!
The mood is strong and it's a very charming game. I do agree the download size was a big barrier but the concept was cool enough for me to overcome that :)
Super fun! One of the few games I played multiple times. The time pressure adds a ton of engagement trying to quickly figure out which of the collectables you want right now. Fits the theme really nicely as well
Really funny! Loved the fake Steam pages. I found the gameplay a bit confusing, or maybe like it wasn't the main purpose of the experience which is okay. Is there a way to win or lose? Can I actually buy all the games somehow?
Either way, my favorite fruit is Strawberry
Very cool piece of tech! The gameplay isn't that unique and it's not the strongest use of theme. It also desperately needs a restart button for when you get stuck. Just so you know it happened twice that it failed to generate after 100 attempts.
This is really well done! Great use of the theme
Waaaay more fun than I expected. Ngl I hate the poop theme. But the art is very charming and consistent. The gameplay is engaging. It does a great job of capturing the feeling of ripping packs looking for rare cards. A very solid entry
I was a bit confused about the purpose of the pegs. Do they give you more points for hitting them? If so it's definitely missing some feedback when that happens. Overall it was neat and the art is solid
Really impressive work! Very satisfying to watch it get more complex over time
Wow I really love the theme of this one! Super charming. Honestly I just liked seating customers and the idea of managing a card shop
Having to restart completely when losing during the tutorial made it difficult for me to continue. Especially since you're still learning the mechanics and the weight of everything. I would've liked more checkpoints or an environment where I can learn without such a big punishment
Super charming! I really enjoyed how board gamey it feels!
Nice work, reminds me of My Card is Better than Your Card. Mom's Favorite Toy was shocking in a funny way.
I was a bit confused by the action system. It seemed like it didn't work as I'd expect. I had 3 pretty actions and would use all 3 in a competition but the last one (+4 hearts if you used 2 pretty actions) wouldn't give me +4. It also seemed a bit too straightforward since once I had 3 seemingly good actions I'd just always use those 3 every competition.
Nicely done! The tutorial was a bit longer than I'd like but fine for a jam game. I didn't find the gameplay super engaging past the first couple days since there was never a need to rearrange my workers or make interesting decisions. The art is beautiful and mechanically the bones are solid. Nice work!
Really cool game! Love the tetris elements and balancing an economy.
I feel the thing this game is missing is an element of RNG. Either to the playspace, or more probably to the tetris shapes available. It feels a bit too easy to just put whatever shapes I want into the ship, and also a bit overwhelming since there's so many options. If I had to pick between 3 different shapes/resources X amount of times per round, I think that would feel more replayable to me.
Love ripping packs! Great idea and use of theme
Nicely done. I'd love for the controls to be in the description since you don't need to rotate until level 3 and I didn't want to exit the game to look at the guide again.
Nicely done! It's very ambitious which showed a bit in some lacking polish. Solid gameplay overall
The money animation is great. It was fun to playthrough, however it felt odd that going into negatives seemingly had no consequence. I also felt navigating menus was a bit more tedious than I'd like, which harmed the experience since navigating the menus is the gameplay
It took me awhile to discover I could move off the starting screen, haha. I agree with others that the movement felt a bit sluggish. The cat's sitting animation is adorable. Overall a solid entry!
Really well done! Love the Wario-ware style mini games, the art, and the humor. It's a total package :)
Really cool idea and theming. I feel it's lacking tension since it seems impossible to lose since you just resummon your defeated armies. It's a cool concept but feels like it needs a cost or downside. This also meant it didn't feel meaningful to me to pick one type of unit over another. But overall I really love the theme, I think it just needs some balancing or additional mechanic to make it feel more interesting
Really neat! I found navigating a bit challenging since the direction changes when you move to a different street. I'd love if there wasn't a transition and it was a bit more fluid. But I think the theme works really well and it was pleasant biking around and stealing stamps
Nicely done! Felt quite pleasant to play. I definitely would've wanted a way to repair yourself with scrap. It also felt a little frustrating to pick up an enemy and then damage yourself because you tried to put them in with your scrap. I guess it makes sense you need to get rid of them differently but visually they look like scrap. Maybe if they looked explosive or spiky it'd be more clear.
Really charming and great visuals. The ending was very satisfying :)
Love the moody atmosphere and graphics. Really well done on that front
Nicely done! The mood and the visuals are very interesting
Beautiful and very polished! Really love the way you collect resources by hovering your mouse. My only complaint is that I didn't have the patience to see the ending (but I don't love idle games for that reason)
It's a bit simple but it works really well
Overall really well done! Love the humor and use of theme. The gameplay is a tad slow since sometimes all you can do is wait for the numbers to change which made me bounce off it
One of my favorite games from the jam so far! Really fun, nice and short, great use of the theme. The mechanic works really well. The objective is clear. It's charming and fulfills a fantasy and plays into nostalgia. Nice work!
404 as well :(
Very goofy, nice work! I found the controls a bit difficult to navigate especially indoor corners.
Gotta collect them ants. Nice work!
Really well done! It's a fun puzzle thinking about which body parts you need and it's super understandable
Really well done! Great idea and super charming. It was fun discovering all the combinations and I love that the recipes give little hints as to what ingredients they might require
Cool, love the art and mood and overall atmosphere
Adorable, love the art style!
Very cute but I have no idea what the items do so it's hard for me to understand why they matter. I don't feel like my decisions make an impact on the gameplay
Nicely done, it's a fun little runner game :)
Great use of the theme. It was fun jumping around and I found the visuals really charming
Nicely done! It's super juicy and fun to just zone out and play
Really fantastic work! Super unique design overall and it looks great. I especially love the circular light mask. It was super easy to understand as well. Great work. I'd love to see this expanded to a slightly larger game with more variety in levels and maybe obstacles of some sort added
There were a lot of bugs that I encountered that made me very confused. Firstly, the left click/right click controls were the opposite of what it said. Some enemies wouldn't disappear after killing them. Walking left was really weird since you couldn't see in front of you at all. After walking for awhile I hit a dead end of unbreakable bushes, started walking left, and then got a little cut scene that the boss was dead. I dunno if there was some way to save him or not.
The art (particularly on the side panel UI) felt really cluttered and I couldn't quite figure out what things were for awhile. I really like the idea and everything seems to work as intended but overall the game felt pretty slow and confusing to me.
Very interesting concept. I really like the idea but overall it felt pretty slow to wait for the actions to play out and most of the time the cards I should pick were pretty obvious. I tried to use the red laser to kill an enemy but then it just destroyed all the ground in front of me so I couldn't possibly progress to the exit. The art (in particular the UI) was also pretty lacking but the audio was very solid.
Great graphics and audio. The UI took me awhile to understand but I loved the way you incorporated moving in the map
It was a really cool blend of two fun games. I loved when the ball was flying around and being unpredictable but after awhile it started just slowing sliding along which meant I was just playing tetris no matter how much I tried to get it to accelerate
Great work. I love the concept and it's very polished
I love the premise and it felt very polished. Bullets felt/looked fluid and dope
The audio was extremely charming. I felt like the rhythm challenges popped up a bit too quickly to comprehend them at first until you knew they were coming. I also didn't see any visual indication that you had to defeat all enemies before going through the door to the next level. Really great work on this one overall.
Love the concept! I too made a turn-based sports game if you're interested in checking it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/blipblapball
It felt pretty slow and I couldn't see what exactly the actions were doing for awhile. But it's an interesting concept and the animations were nice
@pandademic42 Thanks for playing! I definitely agree that the goals need a bit more juice. I thought the sound was unique enough to provide audio feedback and then a ball appears in the goal but if I had more time I would've given a lot more visual feedback to that.
@PadenPierry Thanks for your comment. :)
@Mazzletov Yeah I have no idea what the creatures are to be quite honest hahaha. But thanks for playing and I'll be sure to check yours out!
Nice work combining two classic games! It was pretty challenging to focus on both the breakout and tetris aspects at the same time and it took me awhile to understand that you don't necessarily want to break every block since you can get more points for finishing lines. The audio was great!
Simple but very polished. I think it's very cute!
Very interesting concept. All of the controls were displayed for controllers but it seemed to work fine with the arrow keys. I could barely see anything on the stealth level but I thought it was a good idea nonetheless.
It took me quite awhile to figure out how to start the game and I have no idea what the cards do or how to use them. It also wasn't clear that I was being damaged by the enemies since there wasn't any feedback aside from the (unlabeled) health bar going down. I liked the background and audio tho!
Super polished with an interesting idea and it was tons of fun! I thought it was really fun when you get extra balls
This is fantastic. The idea is great, everything works, and it's very intuitive. One of the only games that has made me play through multiple times. I would love to see this made into a full game!
I really love the concept behind this and I think the execution is mostly great. The one issue I ran into was that the ball got stuck in a corner and I couldn't keep playing. I loved all the "good game" dialogue at the very end! Btw I also made a sports game you can check out if you'd like: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/blipblapball
Overall really cool. I loved the audio and the concept fits the theme well. It took a ridiculously long time to load for me though
The mouse tracking in full screen browser was really slow. I had to scroll a bunch to move anywhere. After shooting at stuff she wanted me to shoot at for awhile the game just abruptly sent me back to the start screen.
Great execution on this one. I really liked how typing was used as a mechanic in real time
I didn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing. I kept shooting both of them and my game would just crash suddenly.
Fits the theme really well and I love the art style!
Very funny idea! I just piled all the body parts in a corner and covered them which seems like it'd be more suspicious but it worked. Also on Day 4 some of the body parts popped out of the drawer under the bed which got me caught unfortunately. Very intense and fun tho!
