Hey @limeniusteam! You just stoled a bunch of time from me right now, and I'm truly appreciate that!) Didn't expect that dungeon puzzle mechanics can get me so hard. Really clever decisions that meets theme pretty great! I love all the efforts you put in this one, you have a pretty neat level designer I must say, Great entry!
A nice little puzzle game with well designed tutorial levels. Good pacing! Calming background music. The use of smell as part of the theme was good and not something I have come across so far. The window was a bit long so I had to scroll down on some of the bigger levels (would have preferred some sort of camera to follow the player). Overall a fun entry!
Very nice entry. I quite like the concept and the calming music! Moving around is a bit clunky on some parts though.

I'd say that's the most original entry jet. And the theme matches perfect. No major criticism.

Haha! We had a similar idea, but we stopped at another) Nice gameplay and sound!
Solid game! I really like the music it's a nice piece but I'm not sure how fitting it is and given similar game play throughout the repetition of the song was a bit much. But great puzzle development and overall graphics and execution such a short run!
Well done, there was some unique puzzle elements which were well explained in the beginning of levels. I also appericated that all the areas were polished to make overall experience smooth!
Very fun! A lot of people attempted the "collect coins and monsters attack you" thing this jam, but I think this is my favorite execution of it so far. I like how you can see the smell radius and different potions offer changes to that. The art was nice, sounds were plenty fine, and levels kept me interested. Good job!

I really like the movement system but I had one interaction that felt really off to me. I moved onto the exit expecting to end the level but then a mummy moved to the same spot and killed me. I dunno if that's intentional but I felt like I should've escaped if I got there first. Great audio and visuals!
@schu Thank you for your comment! Yes, that was intentional. The mummies are in great disadvantage while they are unaware of you (they move blindly/randomly). But as soon as they get into your smell radius, things get pretty smooth for them. Getting earlier to the exit does not help if they get there in the same turn. We could definitely have made a different choice (we considered it for a while), but we wanted to make it a bit more difficult with the elements that we had. But yes, I understand that it may feel like a strange decision. Thanks for the feedback! :)
JUST WOW!!! I love that pixel art, it ties in directly to the theme and it is awesome, very addicting! hahaha

Very nice ! I like that fact that you introduce new gameplay mechanics one after another and that it fits well with the story !
Graphics are also neat, really like it !
There is a ton of content considering it was made for the ludum dare so very well done !

Very cool art, and the light/dark tiles effect. Nice progression of difficulty and new mechanics as you reach higher levels. Turn-based crawlers are always fun :)
Interesting take on the theme. I enjoyed the art, challenge level, and music. Also, good job of scaling and adding elements as the player progresses.
Two things to look at:
1. I had to scroll to see the level sometimes. This breaks immersion. Consider auto-scrolling for the player. 2. I could not click to move on some lit up squares. In particular, they were always on the edge. This was particularly annoying when I could see a chest or the stairs and not be able to move there.
Hey, @james-dunlap, thanks for the feedback! Very useful. Yes, we wanted to change 1) but it was sacrificed due to time constraints. Regarding 2), the tile gets lit up even if it is out of your moving range; I agree that it is visually confusing and needs to be improved. Thanks a lot! Happy that you liked it overall.
Gread little game, smell is definitely an overlooked sense in videogames! Well done! <3

Woah finally beat the game. Got stuck in the last level for some time. I actually played it through, so your game seems to be very fun ;D

Very nice indeed, and it leaves you yearning for more.
I second the little complaint about scrolling through the level (although zooming out also worked), especially because the UI on the right does not follow you as you scroll down.
Otherwise, clearly a solid take on the theme, for a very polished and consistent result.
Really nice art and original game mechanics. A great entry.
Finished all 9 levels. Pretty good. The spells/potions were a bit underused and in L9 I saw a purple potion in the light that was not there, bit odd. Good setup.

I like the progression and mechanics. The ramp up and teach was good. I wish you could just click anywhere to accept your movement path though instead of only the highlighed squares.

Nice art and idea. I love that kind of puzzles. It need to be polished in some aspects, UI specially, but the core it's really well done.
