Really cool use of the theme. The movement is kind of weird be cause your mouse not only aims, but changes the orientation of the player making it sometimes difficult to move around. Besides that its very good!

Cool game, Like the concept of day and night and how they meet. I was kind of lost as to the castles on the sides of the rooms where for, and If they benefited the player in any way? Like the use of toothpaste as a weapon. Cool game!

Fun little game! I wish there was a bit more enemy variety, or maybe some more depth to the combat involving your character(maybe some weapon / skill upgrades?). The camera also made it hard to find the enemy spawn and the castle at first as well. The game was still pretty solid, and I had fun playing it. Keep it up!

Wow this is amazing, great work! Aside from the beautiful graphics and the intuitive controls, this game is incredibly fun to play. I must have played at least 10 times. The one thing that seemed like it might need a bit tweaking was that you could complete the sweat wiping so fast by spamming, and also if you have a dizzy challenge right after a sweat one there was a good chance you lose it because you would be holding a or d, a buffer there might of helped. Never the lest amazing job!!! My Highscore is 55 and im pretty happy with that right now, ill come back later so see if anyone passed me up :)

Wow, awesome game, the music, art and game play were all great. At the start I was like infinite ammo?! why would I stop firing and then I found out you dont move and shoot, pretty cool feature have to balance defense and level progression. Good Job!
Great game! I loved how feel I was to grab literally anything in the room even stunned enemies and throw them. Also really liked the ability to stack multiple small objects like having ammo, nice touch. You mentioned it above and I strongly agree that this game would benefit from a health bar and even a score to give the player so indication of how they are doing. Amazing game none the less, congrats.

Fun game! I ended up being able to get 35. The art is great, one idea for this game would be instead of just trying to murder as many goats as possible maybe the goat sacrifices would lower the levels of the volcano, though you probably has this idea in mind.

Clever idea, I liked how when I started to lose my mind the folder started to shake. I had a few incidents where I would click on the wrong folder and then it would trigger again instead of closing the popup

@TechnoNugget Thanks for playing, the page reloading was a messy fix to an issue we had with restarting the game, due to the time restraints it was all we could do at the time. I heard that people have been experiencing not only the audio cutting or but also sometimes choppy game play. I cant seem to recreate this on my computer but I might be large audio files needing to download.
I love the game concept. It is a game that requires skill to accomplish (haha) it took me a few tries and I think that was one of the concepts to think of when making a game with this theme. It was providing players with a challenge and I liked it. Would love to see where this goes, I just have one suggestion could it be possible to inverse the roles of the x and c key, it was just difficult and tedious. As well as the cards themselves had a humorous aspect and I look forward to seeing more card types in the future.
Super fun game, really enjoyed playing. When I first saw the game I thought you had to talk to the girl as you were multitasking the ship, but I really liked the mechanic of regaining life with the dating sim. Good job!
This was a fresh idea for a sim game, I really enjoyed the events that would take place when robots attacked, however, I sorta feel like the game auto plays itself after 2mins or so.

Awesome game! My best score was 380. The moment I saw this game it instantly our team's submission, except you game has far more amazing art. (and I can say that cause I did all the art for our game). Like seriously when I first started playing I was so focused on getting to the right cards and planning out my next 3 moves I didnt realized till later how beautiful the game looks. congrats on that. The reason I mentioned my game was while they are similar we played around a lot with the way the cards functioned. We started with the idea similar to your game where you can only play cards every x seconds. while this works I found myself in your game knowing my next 2 plays but since my first play put all the cards on cooldown I was having to wait quite of bit of time before being able to move, many times costing my life. Maybe instead only the card in the card slot you play goes on cooldown so that there is some sort of limitation but it doesnt cut them out from their entire hand. The other thought I had was most situations had multiple solutions except going up. Like every floor had 2 openings so if you didnt have and left cards it wasnt the end of the world as long as you had right cards. Same things with attack and shield (the ? mark was like a wild card and that doesnt count XD). So since the up card was the only way to progress it was necessary that you had it for each floor which sometimes didnt happen. Maybe added the up arrow as the 1 card you must always have or a pair for the up...... like a rarer card climbing rope, where the player tosses a hook 3 floors up and climbs past all obstacles (haha that sounds op). Anyways amazing job, I had a great time playing you're game.

Love this game. Thought i had to feed a smaller fish to catch the bigger fish man mutant but, once I got that bad boy in my kitchen he was done for yum yum yum. great work!
Nice fun retro game. This is amazing for a first game. I really struggled to get my shots accurate enough to hit the enemies. Maybe you could add a system where there is a gunner controlled by the mouses location and the ship movement with WASD is independent, I feel it would be a more accurate way to shoot and also allow for so interesting drive by scenarios. Congrats!
This game has a cute and simplistic art style. I like how you included the two different controls (WASD and up, down, left, right) which made it hell for a single player to control when it got faster, I liked the challenge. May I ask what the genres of the game are?
I beat it! fun game, I like the platforming the movement felt really good. for the combat i never felt it was necessary to check his help always just attack first and jump when its on cd. Great game, awesome to see other developers using js.
Wow this game blew me away. And reading now that the 2d physics was all home made is so impressive! The art and music were fit the vibe of the game so well and it just had a level of polish I would have never guessed for a game jam, amazing work! The art and the 3d world and camera combined with the 2d sprites were perfect for me, and I was told I got the best ending which makes me happy! Awesome game! :)

Im notoriously bad at platforms and this game is tough. Probably took me 200 lives and 30min to beat it. But it was so much fun and had me hooked that I had to complete it. A testament to how polished and well thought out this entry was. Great work all!

The satellite mechanic was a lot of fun was hoping yall would have incorporated more levels with it. Maybe if you had color coded satellite it would have made it a bit more restrictive and could have lead to interesting challenges, great work!
fun little game got lost after getting 3 gems and ended up kinda brute forcing things; you with you, this with that, trying every combination. I enjoyed the music as well!
There was quite a bit of polish to the game that made it feel satisfying to play, I really liked the way that you can get partial matching of the shapes and the little visual you score points. Awesome job!
Nice game yall! Really got into it, ended up with a very strong red aggro deck (mtg nerd here) where I would just take every signal card I saw and even the rare signal plus ignore block and then use my life as a resource to tank any damage my opponents would through at me. I also like the concept someone else called out where some turns you are reactively playing your cards and some turns have to proactively play them but I think on the turns you have to go first giving the user the option to make changes after I see my opponents response and before the battle kinda took away from that, as I never had to truly commit to any decision I made in the blind.
I had a blast playing this! Maybe if the player had to make a choice between a couple various new pieces as a reward it could add to the strategy, I often found I had too many pieces for the level regardless. But the art and music were fantastic and the gameplay had a nice level of polish, I like the mechs bobbing was not just an aesthetic but also affected gameplay. Awesome job!

I really like the animations the way the letters change and pop off the words when you type was quite statisfying. I think im not the best candiate for the game however with my 50wpm I found myself very often missing letters the game was asking me to press. maybe a easier setting for the slower typers like myself :sweat_smile:
This was my favorite implementation of the theme! something about the way the signal wave moves and how it changes when you press the active button, it was a satisfying game feel. Also the rate at which you introduced new mechanics was perfect for me. Awesome work!
