Cool game! Once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty fun little back and forth. I especially like the mechanic of there being alternating turns of proactivity and reactivity. The set up and theming is pretty fun, I really dig the espionage vibes atop a silly premise. I do think there being some minor sound effects and movement for cards and UI aspects would elevate the experience a lot. Good work!
@passalong
First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to save your homework folder!
We wholeheartly agree that there is a lot of polishing missing, especially for the UI and SFX, we simply ran out of time haha, but since we also really dig the general mechanics we decided we will invest a little bit more time into it for exaclty that sake!
Did you feel like something would have need more explanation?
Thank you for such a valuable feedback!
Wow, what a cool game!! It looks so polished and finished, congrats!! I missed some sound effects in the gameplay but the music is really good. Also, sometimes is a little hard to read the card effects, but I had fun playing it!
@daniserranu
Thanks so much for the kind words ^^
We 100% agree with you that we still need to add and change a few things to make the gameplay feel super satisfying. We’ll most likely start working on it tomorrow, because we’re absolutely exhausted right now. This is what 3 days with barely any sleep does to us.

You really nailed the aesthetic! Some sound effects would definitely go a long way but I totally understand what the time crunch is like
Congratulations! The game looks really nice, and the idea is interesting too. The shaky screen filter bothered me quite a lot, though. I can tell it was intentional, but my eyes got tired pretty quickly.
UPD: The filter seems to work fine on itch.io.
@penagwin Thank you so much! We also fell in love a little while developing thats why we decided to polish things up from tomorrow on an make it more satisfying <3 tytyty for your feedback!
@pepebrante Yeah, we tried to delete the game from here since it might ruin opinions on it due to the webgl player on here fricking up the crt effect. But sadly we literally can't.. the page doesnt let us - thank you for going out of your way trying it on itch!! <3
Very cool and polished game!

Nice game yall! Really got into it, ended up with a very strong red aggro deck (mtg nerd here) where I would just take every signal card I saw and even the rare signal plus ignore block and then use my life as a resource to tank any damage my opponents would through at me. I also like the concept someone else called out where some turns you are reactively playing your cards and some turns have to proactively play them but I think on the turns you have to go first giving the user the option to make changes after I see my opponents response and before the battle kinda took away from that, as I never had to truly commit to any decision I made in the blind.
Really well done, and extremely polished! The alternating turns were sick! I did spend a while trying to understand what "Send" and "Receive" meant, but it was intuitive once I got it. Cool game!
@block97 yeah you are totally right, and i think we just forgot to remove the option to allow the player to reset / change the position of the card in the resolve step, this should be implemented in our next fix ^^.
@block97 all 3 of us are also fellow mtg nerds so we 100% get you xD
Cool game and I enjoyed the different cards and the way they interacted with each other! Also I like the proactive/reactive gameplay. I kind of wish there was a way to see how things resolve, but I get that also there isnt a ton of time to do everything! Great job
the aesthetics hooked me so easily, i like the world you created and the use of the theme as a card game is really cool. I think there was a lack of feedback to the duel iteself, also it took me a while to understand how to place cards(right click felt unintuitive to me).
but i won, and enjoyed it, congrats!
@crispypear thank you so much for the feedback! We should definitely make it a bit clearer. Maybe a small popup when phases change would be good!
Really sad about the missing sounds since aesthetic of the game is really good and CRT effect and colour choices add a lot!
Is there an end? It felt that it was going forever, so I kind of started to throw cards at random at some point to see if there is one (and lost hahaha).
@thedugnutt Thank you for your feedback ❤️ happy u liked it ❤️ yes we totally agree and we‘re working on it ;)
@placeholders happy u liked how we integrated the setting in the game 🥺❤️ yes it’s my biggest pain point too! We just ran out of time 🥲 but we‘re working on it 🫶
@batisdark thank you for your feedback ❤️ there is actually no end! We have 4 different enemy types with different play styles and randomized enemy decks. There is also a deck minimum of 16 cards ❤️
And yes as agreed previously we simply ran out of time but we‘re working on the polish atm ❤️

Nice mood! I really like the graphics tho I wish there was an option for it not to round the corners. I know it's to emulate and it's a CRT screen but it got me dizzy pretty quick. I know it's a rush to get it all done in time, so congratulations on such a solid entry!

I really liked the visual style, as well as the sound part of the game. As far as I'm concerned, the game lacks variety and animations, but it's not a bad idea.
@0kura018 we totally agree with you there, and we are currently working to add animations and more sfx as for the variety part what exactly are you missing (would you like to have more cards / more effects) ?

@letssnack yeah, now it all comes down to simple damage, I would like to see cards in the future that, for example, enhance the neighboring card, or act on more than one. Maybe I missed some of it while I was playing. Good luck!
@0kura018 both of them good suggestion and if we ever want to continue working on the game, we will for sure expand the card roster ^^

Cool graphics and ideas)
Sometimes it's a bit too much of CRT-shader. Cool concept tho :v:
Very cool game idea, love the early analog era spy theme! Got the hang of it, but was a bit overwhelmed by the instructions. That may just be a me problem, however. The music and sfx were really cool, and it fits well with the theme. Good job!
@prismapunch hey thank you so much for trying! Yes I can totally understand, since it’s a card game there‘s a bit to cover 🫶 maybe a step by step during play tutorial would be better 🤔 but hey, at least your homework folder is now safe! ❤️

Cool art style, music in game great and animations feels smooth also fun card gameplay, would be cool see in future multiplayer) Good job!Screenshot_20260427_102137.png
@irkar thank you so much for playtesting andleaving your valuable feedback! Yes we think so too! 🫶❤️
Cool game! The UI is really well made, and the art style is a perfect fit.
@nothingjustaworld thank you so much, we really put our heart into the artworks and ui 🥺❤️ happy u like it 🫶
Gave your game a spin - really well thought out - everything played nicely together. It seemed a bit on the heavy side (playing on Lenovo T16 laptop in a browser). Other than that - easy to understand and the feel of everything blended together very nicely  of course a little more variety in the cards would have been great... but then again... being a jam and all that  Congrats on a very solid entry :thumbsup_tone1:
@purpledartfrog hey thank you so much for trying! Oh really? Can you give me your pc specs, i'd love to test this myself and check where the issue is generated at! Thats important insight!
Something like this...
2026-04-27_16h33_14.png
And integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics ...
So yeah - it's a laptop ... and a standard one at that
@purpledartfrog in your browser settings is hardware acceleration turned off or on ?
@letssnack Totally forgot about that - I think I had it disabled at some point - because something was crashing... that did a LOT. Thanks :thumbsup_tone1:
@purpledartfrog np np ^^
Very good game, I love cardgames, good job :-)
Love the vibes on this one! Great art style and the music fits really well. I was initially worried that it would be complicated to learn due to the volume of instructions to read through, but it was actually very intuitive and easy to pick up. Great work!
Oh, I love board games. It was nice to see something familiar in the jam. For me, the best strategy was to go for maximum defense when sending a signal and maximum attack when receiving one. After that, I destroyed the weak cards in my deck - Dominion taught me that. A good solid game!
As an experienced card I found it fun and easy to understand, even if the tutorial gave me the initial impression that it was going to be the other way around (unnecessarily complex). I also quite liked the visual style. Good job!
@kevin-meissner @wormkingboo @turbolaser @criatura-nocturna Thank you so much for trying guys! <3 We're happy u guys enjoyed the full package! It's the first card game we ever build and after the main jam ended we printed them out to try them in multiplayer which was actually super fun. Would you peeps agree to give multiplayer a shot?
Also ty ofc for your feedback, we actually love seeing ppl trying new playstyles since we're thinking about adding a new card type to give the player even more possibilities <3
Imma be real honest and say that as a full blown card game for me to "try hard" in, I think the design space might be a bit too narrow. Those games are often played in the tens or hundreds of matches a month, with masses of people playing over and over. Not saying it couldn't be made to work, but it would need serious design work to ensure the robustness such a game requires.
Having said that, there's a whole family of small dueling card games that are easy to carry around and meant to be played whenever a chance arises. I'm thinking of games like Riftforce, "Air, Land, & Sea", Cardia... which more or less resembles the scale of printing your current "set" and playing it "kitchen table" style. So I could see a version of your game developed towards that space.

Great CRT-style visuals reminiscent of 90s screens. Overall visual presentation feels very cohesive. I did not immediately understand what the cards do, but it became intuitive after a while. I would work on game balance — by the second round I had already figured out the meta, and the game lost some of its challenge.
@criatura-nocturna thats exactly the kind of feedback we were looking for, the honest ones! I see that makes a lot of sense.we definitely brainstormed to expand on the cards, effects and even further card types to make it more interesting. As well as adding new layers like a darkweb card shop, card crafting, etc.. and such things. Thanks a bunch! ❤️
@custodi thats exactly the vibe we went for! Ty so much for the feedback & we agree that the first 1-2 turns can be a bit overwhelming with all that text. We‘re already working on a future implementation to make it way easier 🫶

Heavy work there guys, congrats. The game looks as a well thought one, is engaging, has distinctive and coherent art direction :)
My feedback about some UX thing: a) I found it bothering me a little, that when I hover over the card, if I want to check the card next to it, I have like 70%-80% of it covered, which leaves a tiny bit of space to aim for this. In a fullscreen mode I overshoot the card a few times, hovering over the one after the next one, skipping the one I wanted in the middle. I do not know if I explained it clearly xDD
b) My immediate card game instinct is to hover over the cards with the mouse being fully to the bottom of the screen. This is bugged and the cards were stuck in the loop of never reaching the state of being fully selected and starting over

Great game. Loved the humor about the homework folder. Nice back and forth gameplay. First round was actually very close.
Good card battler. Nice design and music. Both my opponent and I had zero HP and the game stopped there.
@indiepanda what do you mean with game stopped ? did any win or loose screen appear ?
@letssnack The screen didn't appear. I just see cards on the table and can't click anything.
@indiepanda weird but thanks for letting us now, we gonna look into this issue.

Nice entry! Great artstyle and the music is great as well. It all looks and feels very polished. I did miss some sound effects, especially when resolving I think that would be helpful.
I like it when people submit card games. What sets you game apart for me is the Interfere attacking/defending modes forcing the player to choose between greater gain and lesser loss each turn.
And what exactly do interfere do? Ignore hide effects? Cards can be immune to Hide and Intefere. I know what Hide does by default when defending but what does Interfere do when attacking/defending? Does it even ignore Hide when attacking? Or perhaps it does not do anything passively but only the active effects written on the card?
Congrats on making a decent card game!
@andriybyelikov Hey! Thank you trying out or game! Yes we agree that the sender and receiver switch is something that’s super fun, since as you stated, u have to really think about your role and position in this different settings!
Interfere cards, counter/block/interfere any other card on the opposing slot (the only exception are cards that are encrypted, those can’t be interfered)
Additionally interfere cards have two effects: a sender effect e.g. deal X dmg to the player or a receiver effect: opposing player draws one card. And always it tries to block the opposing slot. While you‘re on the setting side it’s an aggressive card trying to give you the upper hand forcing the enemy to interfere it, but on the receiver side it’s a strong counter against anything that is not encrypted, so you gotta pay a small price to block the enemy from playing their trump
I hope that helps, let me know if there are still questions open ❤️
Again tysm for trying!!
@dekisenpaitm
> Interfere cards, counter/block/interfere any other card on the opposing slot (the only exception are cards that are encrypted, those can’t be interfered)
This is what I didn't understand, aside from the additional sender/receiver effect, how do they counter/block/interfere? Can you give an example?
I've looked at the source code and it seems that what it does is skip the effect of the opposing card and instead play the receiver effect of the own Interfere card.
@andriybyelikov you can imagine the Interfere-Cards as a "counter spell" they just counter the effects of the card in the opposite slot (the effect be it hide / attack wont be put on the resolve stack), while still applying their send / receive effects.
There are some exceptions like cards with the encrypt modifier which can't be interfered as well as two interfere cards opposing each other, in this case the card with the highest priority applies first (the card setter always wins priority ties)
if something is unclear or you have any other questions fell free to ask them. ^^

Really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to play this game [on stream.](https://www.youtube.com/live/Ho1IFp0qgAc?si=PZIFfHWxoYjYb1NA&t=1126)
My thoughts are shared in the VOD.
