Cool idea! But it took too long to figure out what is asctually happening in the game. More thought to UI and player onboarding would be useful. Would love to see a more polished version

Nicely done! The drag and drop functionality is cool
Interesting idea to put a bullet hell game together with a collection game. I'm terrible at bullet hells so I didn't get very far :)
Well, I am certainly confused. The level of randomness needs some tuning.
Found a +10 dagger. Killed everything. Didn't die when I thought I would. It was fun. Impressive job!
The game could definitely use some balancing and feedback.
Clever idea! I liked hearing the sound effects. I could feel that you were having making them :)
Your art style is gorgeous. Would you mind sharing what tools you used for your art? I also really liked the idea of the rotating wedge that gives you vision but also hurts you. Excellent entry!
I had some trouble seeing how much more hurt I could still take. Could that be made a bit clearer somehow?
I love that the art is hand drawn! I also have no idea whatsoever what I'm supposed to do.
I like your art style. Not sure I agree with reducing visual clarity when the signal strength gets low. I found it basically impossible to do anything once it got to 30-40s. I think it's more fun when the player has more agency when time is running out rather than less.
Very nice take on 'signal'! Gives a classic flash game vibe. Basic mechanic is super fun. With a little more polish, I could see myself taking turns playing this with a friend and trying to beat each other's score.
It might make for a tighter game if the round was a bit shorter and more intense. And I think I ran into the same bug as zimennik. Cheers!
Thanks for the entry! It feels like you could make a compelling puzzle game by putting everything on a grid
Fun entry! I'm not sure what the other rooms did, so I mostly just kept shuttling between shooting pirates and gaining height.
Cute little platformer. The sound effects and art kind of reminded me of the old Neopets games.
I really liked the smooth controls of the spacecraft. Flying through the asteroids gave a good bit of that space pilot fantasy. Took me a bit to figure out that I had to land on the top of the stranded ship to enter it. Great fit with the theme. Cheers!
Wow, I am absolutely terrible at this :)
Nice game! It would help to have an indicator showing which towers were already set on autofire
Nice entry! Would love to see the deck building aspect get more fleshed out
Excellent entry! I like your interpretation of signal and you've come up with a pretty good set of map elements to build levels with. Thanks @yakovdavis for you post on the visualization tech. It's quite insightful!
Nice entry! It's very satisfying to see the letters start appearing on the screen as you play with the knobs. But the real star was the typewriter. It really pulled me into the mood. I found it a bit hard to find what goes in the time field. One nitpick with the radio knobs: It feeeeels like I should be able to drag the knob with my mouse to rotate it. Once I realized that's not how it works, it was fine.
I kept accidentally sending the drone in the wrong direction. Perhaps, it would be good if the buttons for moving the drone stay in their fixed places. As in 'move top' should always be in the same position (e.g. the first one) and so forth. You could have all of them always present and just disable the ones that are not relevant.
Hey @human-writes-code @max-corke @python-b5 @kanity @bumble @jpat @le-don @coderaurus @yorsh @dis0rder, thank you so much for your kind words! @wuppos and I got super motivated and we've decided to turn Robo Phone Home into a full-release game! We're delighted to extend you an invitation to our [mailing list](na-fnoem3.subscribepage.io) where you can stay up to date on our dev progress :) Cheers!

I love your art style! What tool did you use for it? It's a clever spin on 'signal' to have tower defence game based around communicating with the other towers. I had a bit of a hard time figuring out which way the the signal would go from the circle indicator. I would suggest showing a preview of the signal when rotating the tower. Cheers!
Hey! We made a game called "Robo phone home". Very different genre though :)
I think it's kind of cool that you made all the graphics in MS paint. It would be good to have some gameplay feedback to show the player that they are on the right track. I wasn't really sure I was doing what I was supposed to.
Fun game! Since each action takes 6 beats, could I suggest using a song in 6/4 rather than 4/4? I think that would make the rhythm a bit more intuitive.
