@yueyao-wang It's still submission hour! Give us just a moment =D
This looks quite unusual.
Very interesting take! A little difficult to understand at first but once you get a hang on it it's very intriguing! Love the art presented here too!!
The art + audio is top tier. I struggled a bit with the controls, but overall a fantastic entry.
Interesting idea for the theme. Really nice art style too, nice work!
I liked the concept of the game — it’s really unusual! Thanks!
I love the graphics! The game's pace is a little slow, but it fits the atmosphere! Well done :)
We have dizziness after play :(
damn the artstyle + visual effects and audio is really strong in this game. The ocean ambience really helps set the tone. Good job!:)
It's very visually striking, but that also make some parts of it hard to read. For instance, the jump recovery countdown wasn't really legible until I squinted at the boat. I'm also not sure which walls can be hidden behind, or what torches are meant to do. I wonder if there's a graphical glitch displaying shadows incorrectly?
Your art style is gorgeous. Would you mind sharing what tools you used for your art? I also really liked the idea of the rotating wedge that gives you vision but also hurts you. Excellent entry!
I had some trouble seeing how much more hurt I could still take. Could that be made a bit clearer somehow?
What a beautiful intro! The art is superb. Audio is amazing too, even if the level win sound is kind of surprising XD I didn't realise you needed to hide at first but then it made sense and was fun!
Definitley could use a short graphic telling you what buttons to press.
Really loved this game. I didn't finish everything but got pretty far. The concept of a radial maze with the connected mechanics of revealing the location and the timer to keep the player moving is really clever. The art style is very arthouse - I love that kind of thing. The only counterintuitive thing was that the boat jumps
@pastry-chef ty ty! We used mostly krita with some clip studio for sprites, and godot shaders for tiles and backgrounds :D
Woow! Art is incredible!
The presentation is exquisite, very artistic. It's also interesting how the "signal" in your interpretation is both the goal and the core of the protagonist's problems, just like how in real life our ambitions often become the bane of our existence, or at the very least any semblance of comfort within it. Well done!
The graphics are gorgeous, and the mechanic is interesting. This has great potential!
The vibes are just perfect. The music and graphics have this ephemeral feeling to them, and everything down to the color choices works so well together. Felt like an indie game from back when the indie boom was just starting.
Oh and the gameplay was also fun, and this was definitely one of the strongest lighthouse-themed submissions I've played. I'm just easily distracted by the aesthethics of it all
The game is OK, and the graphics are great, but what I missed most were key descriptions.
i love your style! Interesting gameplay, goooood job!
Very cool and unique art style also i like how is feel jumps and great music and sound effects but i stuck in this level because i can`t dodge this fish but in overall good game. Nice job!Screenshot_20260426_081136.png
visual is good but didn't get the gameplay
Has a great visual atmosphere, but the controls took some getting used to.
The victory jingle is also a little jarring.
I wasn't able to beat it, but I did like what I played. Very unique and interesting. Kinda reminds me of the puzzle game Labyrinth, but it's kinda it's own thing, too. I added it to a collection to beat later. Nice jam entry!
Awesome art style! The spinning made me a little motion sick, but I think that is more a of a me problem.
I had a bit of a hard time navigating, I'm just struggling with the controls a bit.
Anyway, I still thought this was really cool.
Minor nitpick: could probably hide the mouse cursor
I don't know why but the music reminded me heavily of those old MS-DOS Prince of Persia games and it made me insanely nostalgic.
And the game itself is really a piece of art, with the visuals and the head-spinning, hypnotizing gameplay screen, going in the spiral-circle chased by hands feeling like in a nightmare, not awake but possibly delirious.
The writing feels poetic, too. The drawings are fantasic.
I got lost on one of the early levels (3rd?) unfortunately, not being able to figure out the correct path and getting blocked by lovecraftian entities(?)
The hands easily caught up with me on previous levels, too, but I managed to reach the lighthouse before running out of lives.
The movement of my ship didn't feel very intuitive to me, but the overall feel and atmosphere of the game are outstanding!
This was cool! :D The rotating world is a very interesting take on platforming (makes me think of a game I made for another jam :P), though it does make me a bit nauseous. I guess this might have to do with my car sickness >_< I also think you made some interesting levels that really made use of these rotations.
The art was really nice, especially the splash art! That is really unique and draws you in. Very well done!
Wow! Very cool moody art, atmospheric sounds, and an interesting and challenging gameplay. There were a few splinters on the control experience - bunch of times I pressed jump and didn't get a jump, and a bunch of times I felt unsure from the art about whether a space was something I could fit into, and the restart screen started to feel way too slow after the twentieth time. This kept me from entering a total flow state, but even despite that I really enjoyed this and spent some time digging in.
At first I believed the game was a bit too easy, but then I met (and eventually overcame!) the Big Fish, and then met (and overcame!) the Red Spikes. Man that fish really got me so many times and it felt great to finally beat him. Then the spikes... it takes a while for the ghostline to sweep around again and I got impatient and greedy and tried to take more than I should have a few times, and got spiked. I was less of a fan of the statue-heads because being blocked and finding out I needed to backtrack wasn't so enjoyable.
Satisfying to win. And when I did have to wait for the ghostline sweep, wow that whole waves graphical effect was really nice. I got past the fish IRKAR screenshot above, and then maybe another level or two beyond, I think.
Lot of cool elements coming together here into a nice entry, good work!
edit: wait, there's torches?? didn't realize.
