Well done, neat main mechanic and high quality pixel art! Jump mechanics are a tad too hard though imo, played a lot of platformers before and here it's like the controls are a bit less responsive than usual. Still a great job though, that's just a suggestion on what I'd change to make the game even better.
Love the core mechanic of the game, I've never seen anything similar before. Can't even put my finger on anything in need of tweaking, really cool.

So, uh, is the character sprite not moving intentional for the player to memorize all the positions on their own or it some bug I stumbled upon? :D I actually liked it this way even if it was a bug, cute game, would play more in a more developed version with some bigger feature list.
First game I actually wanted to finish, solid retro-styled entry.
