Played by myself the concept is fantastic! the art is elegant in its simplicity. Need to round up a few friends to play Thanks for the game :)

Didn't understood how to play alone. The main idea seems to be good, but for a LD, making multiplayer games is the worst thing to do if you want to be rated - and even worst if the game needs more than two players, because while testing, main part of jammers are alone⦠Maybe you could make a video of a game play, so that we could see how it works and how it feels, and rate your entry knowing what we rate.
@LeReveur :D We know. We keep making them because we enjoy making them though.
We hope to make a video soon. In the meantime, you're right, the bits on the screen that tell you where to start and what to do *are* a little less attention-grabby than they should be, so I've added a quick start guide here. Let me know if you think it helps.
(And here's a secret - if you don't want to use a cell phone, you can open the player window in another browser window on your computer. You won't get the touch screen and the layout will be wonky, but everything is there.)
It seems very cool and interesting, but I carry the same sentiment that @LeReveur does. It's too complicated for a game jam submission. People don't have the time to round up a bunch of friends and play.
if you had an option to host an "open game" and when people click join it showed any open games hosted for anyone to join and someone joining played a little sound then that would of been awesome - would of happily left a tab open and waited for other testers to join my game! Sadly, I could not find a way to host the free play single player - whenever I clicked host it just made my game called {campname} and gave me no options :( this was in firefox.
@HS_Dave We intentionally removed the remote game option - the game requires being in the same room as people and physically watching them play.
(Also, {campname} is just because we didn't finish that bit :) )
Great game! Very ambitious for the LD. As noted above, you're very brave for going with a multiplayer option, but I could see this idea deserving some further development.
It sure was fun and well made. Pictures were very cute and the idea was clever. I just wish we were more than 2 of us to enjoy this game. It all worked properly without any bugs or problems. The only thing I would add is an option to see pictures DURING the voting phase, because when I was drawing I really didn't pay attention to my GF's picture, so I really didn't even know if I should vote for me or her, haha.
Very cool! Good humor. I have no one to play with, but I can imagine how fun this game can be.
@Iluvatar That's a really good idea, thanks for playing!
Hi, we attempted to stream the game with the screen resolution of 1280x720 on Google Chrome, but the website kept freezing :frowning:
Looks very nice. sorry that I can not evaluate the game completely, when I play alone
Would love to try this with friends at some point, this was a pretty unique experience by far for me. love the way you incorporated the cell phone into this project
I have some folks coming over this weekend to play Jackbox games, I'm so excited to try something like that from Ludum Dare.
Update: Couldn't get it to work on my friend's laptop, Safari on High Sierra. I played solo on my chromebook today and I can tell this will be hilarious! I'll try again for sure.
please leave a web version and thnks
Very nice! I enjoyed the art style, and the fun photographs. I wish it as possible to play with less people!
Nice one! yeah it's hard to go the multiplayer route (mine is multiplayer too). will try this one with my friends this weekend!
wow, nice party game! planning to play with friends
The best way to see that I do not know how to draw ... Technically, it's nice! (but alone, it's hard to see a 5 players game, even on 2 browsers ...)
