Wow! This was incredible. It was really hard to beat that boss, but I did end up doing it after many, many tries.

Wow! This was incredible. It was really hard to beat that boss, but I did end up doing it after many, many tries.
I liked this! I feel like it needs some way to make which form breaks through what more apparent. It took me 4 or 5 tries before I started to get a hang of it. The graphics are also pretty rough, and could use improvement. Try paying attention to your color pallet, and making sure all of your different assets fit the same style.
Wow! This was great! I really liked the graphical style. At first I didn't realize the levels were procedural generated, and I was amazed when I realized! I have a few things to say. When you aren't the square, you move frustratingly slowly. I feel like it could be improved if you just slightly bumped up the speed of all the shapes. Also, the shapes had a strange friction-y feel while moving around. I'm not sure what caused that, but it hurt the feel of the game for me. Good Job!
I liked this a lot! Not sure how it fit the theme, but I have no other issues!
You're itch.io page just says "sorry :|"
I liked this game a ton! The way you made me feel panic, then relief, was super cool! I liked the self referential comments on the art style.
Holy crap was that good. It was challenging to solve, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. The narrative you gave us was simple, but striking. This is possibly my favorite entry I've played thus far!
Wow! Those are some serious graphics! They're seriously impressive, especially for a weekend jam. I played the singleplayer challenge, and thought that was pretty cool. I briefly tried the multiplayer, and I thought it was a touch dull, although, it's still incredible for 72 hours.
I really liked this entry! I thought the plot was amusing. It would be interesting if it introduced you to the different options each day, like you only pick the shape the first day, then the next day you pick the shape and the color.
I tried to play this, and your windows build appeared to be a web build. I wasn't able to play it in the end.
This was incredible! You really nailed the simulator vibe! I'm not sure how much I like the decreasing approval rating mechanic, although it was timed perfectly to have me try everything then die.
Good job! As others have said, the game is confusing at first. I, like many others, got stuck on level 6. I walked around and talked to everyone I could find and tried to pick up everything, but to no avail. I liked every moment of climbing my way up to floor 6.
The game was rather slow. Based on the comments, I seem to have had a special experience. I got a score of 50 before I got bored and stopped.
I had trouble launching this game. When I opened it, I saw the page, but there was no game on it. (Running Chrome on Windows 10)
When I first ran the game, I found that it was very slow. I turned the graphics to fastest, and it still ran slow, but it was playable. While I was playing your game, I was somewhat confused. I never did find the blue building, and I had the issue where if I was going fast enough to escape the psychopaths, I was also going fast enough to escape my followers.

I liked this a lot! I didn't beat the game, because I fell into the pit that puts you back at the beginning of the game twice in a row. I think the level punishes you to hard for messing up that jump. The graphics were simple but functional, and the platforming was a bit clunky but still fun.
I played the updated version, and it was incredible! Probably my favorite of the ~25 games I've played! The jam version was incredibly bare bones though, so I had to rate based on that.
I liked this! I got stuck on a part where I couldn't continue without walking into a beehive. The character art was a bit weird, but functional. The platforming was fun!
This game was simple, but still very difficult. I liked the music and sound, but the Jonathan blow joke was a bit distasteful.
This game was interesting. I feel like this mechanic would work well in a mobile app. It was confusing at first, but once I figured it out it was fun!
I like this game a lot! I thought your art style was good, and the game controlled well. It's definitely a well done jam project. However, while I was playing, I was confused at first, then bored second. This game needs something to keep it entertaining
.
I agree with the idea of adding more variation between levels. Another good thing would be to change the collision box of the player to make it easier to jump into 1x1 gaps, as you have the player do many times.
I played this game and liked it a lot! What a great concept! The music could have been better though, and the art was only decent. Let the players know to hold z. I got through the first 2 levels and got this error after the second door.

Having the game reset button next to the shoot button proved to be an interesting design choice. The graphics were nice, and the gameplay was decent. I would like my projectiles to be longer range.
This was great! I loved the art style, and the way the music changed. I didn't expect anything at all like what I got!
This was good! I really liked the art style of this game. I thought it was fun, but I found it really difficult how other shapes got in the way. I feel like it could be better of the other shapes were bigger and or slightly larger.
Yay! I liked this game a lot! I loved the humor, and I thought that the simple but amusing gameplay. The main thing that I think would improve this game would be more of it!
Great fun, but suprisingly difficult! After a while I felt like I was just being ganged up on by the enemy cars.
This felt amazingly Dungeons and Dragons-y! I really liked this concept and the writing was good as well!
This was amazing! Every step of the game was a pleasant suprise, from the gameboy running out of batteries, to the skater showing up in the window!
That explosion effect was startling! My main piece of feedback is to make the lightswitch a little more obvious. It took me a little while to find it! I also think the upgrades might be too expensive. I wasn't able to purchase any of them in two plays of the game. I thought the art style was really charming, and fluffy was an electric protagonist!
The game closed when I tried to fight the biker, and I had to download the python source to figure out the valid commands, but this game was great! I really liked the writing.
You haven't posted any download links!
You haven't included any game links!
This was great! I really liked the menus. I was a little confused about how to play at first, but I figured it out eventually. I feel like I would have liked it if the difficulty scaled a little more quickly.
My only wish is that the environment was themed to the characters instead of just white trays, but the gameplay was super fun, and the music was awesome.
I really liked this entry! It was a fun take on a tetris type game. My only wish is that I was able to get into the resolution settings to fullscreen the game, I want to see the pixels! It being locked this at that resolution makes it really small if you have a 2k computer monitor.
Oof, that level with the trickery! (I won't spoil it)
Wow that was hard! I really liked the graphics.
I enjoyed this, but wished there was more room in the kitchen to set stuff down. On my second playthrough, things were going great but then I suddenly was ruined by a huge donut. If I could have set it down, I could have moved one item that would have let me put it in and still had tons of room left. Other than that though, this was really enjoyable!
Wow, what an experience. I really liked the look of your post processing, and the overall aesthetic was very consistant.
Loved the mechanics and the story and the graphics and really all of it. Great work!
@daniel-whittaker In regards to the pixel effect, I achieved it by having the game camera render to a RenderTexture in Unity, then mapping it to a plane and having a second camera look at that.
Very effective but simple horror game! I'm pretty sure I won, the game seemed to crash right as the timer ran out. Nice monster, I liked teasing him through the windows. Sound effects were great as well!
Fun and funny, but unfortunately I couldn't beat the game. The physics bugs were too strong and the game got stuck at level 2 and 8. A great addition would be the ability to restart the fight so I wouldn't have to start from the beginning.
Great adaptation of the theme! I thought it was tough to tell when the player is hit by the enemy projectiles and vice versa, but otherwise I really liked the graphics.
What a great innovative mechanic! Like others have said, there are issues with the readability of the graphics (asteroids too dark, unclear if sun can be killed), but other than those small issues this is a great entry!
I really liked the animations in the game! I didn't miss the animations you mentioned were missing, maybe because I was more focused on the cans.
Adding one more comment to say that the game is very difficult, but it's a nice adaptation of the theme, and I think the graphics support the theme super well! If the guy either went slower or there was an indicator of where he was, that would improve this entry.
Gameplay feels tight and satisfying! Sometimes it was really tough to see the water squirting through the air against the dark background, especially while moving quickly through the level.
Loved this entry! One of the best games this jam, five stars in every category.
@amirrajan If you have a chance, I've done what I can to fix the build, feel free to give it another try!
@sharked press and hold 'R' to restart and go to the abilities screen :)
I loved this entry! The art was amazing and the dialogue was funny. My favorite character was the guy with his PC in the water.
Really great writing in this one! Excellent work. The only thing that could improve this would be some background music to set the tone.
This was a fun idea but definitely was really rough. I had to download the low graphics mode on my gaming PC with a modern GPU, so it definitely could use some optimization. I think the thing that would most improve the game would be tighter controls, it feels almost impossible to avoid hitting other cars right now.
Really nice use of Pico-8 for the jam! It took me a while to understand the pickups that kill you unless you have all the gold, but once I got that I moved through quickly.
I really liked this entry! I agree with other commenters, if there's anything wrong here, it's a bit too hard (having more than 1 hp would make it better), but other than that this was great. I especially loved the salute sequence.
If there was something to do other than look at the rocks and talk to the person at the house, I unfortunately wasn't able to figure it out. Really nice graphics and audio though!
Nice game! a little tricky to control the horse, and it felt like no matter what I did I couldn't get the "Cows taken to the barn" to go up, I had 3 or 4 cows grouped in the house and it still said 0.
Nice graphics! The controls are definitely really hard to use, and I ran into a bug where you couldn't shoot three different times, so I was unable to progress past level three. I liked the gun spinning animation!
I loved the graphics and humor of this game, but I will admit I got kind of lost. I still enjoyed my time is this wacky world though! I love the letterboxing effect that slides in for dialogue.
Really liked this entry! I got stuck inside the carts a few times but mostly a smooth experience. The graphics and audio were awesome.
I beat it! Definitely a fun entry, although I'll admit if I didn't get lucky and guess the combination of levers, I probably would have given up. I don't know if we had gotten any clues to it up until that point, but I was just clicking randomly trying to beat the clock.
Love the audio and graphics! It was a little confusing to remember the different keys, but it was a nice relaxing little game!
Definitely an amazing entry! I found it a little tough when the guys fly off screen because of the camera, but other than that it was really fun!
Nice game! The blood particles caused a bit of lag, but otherwise the game ran smoothly. I wish you got a bit more money from killing enemies, so I could experiment more with the different traps!
I really liked this concept! The graphics were cute, and they all meshed well. I found the music a little jarring, but that's a minor gripe.
I played this on stream! I found it a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it it was a super interesting puzzle game! I wish it moved a little bit slower, but that's a small gripe.
I will note that the UI seemed a bit bugged on my monitor, you can see it in the vod here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007338673
If it helps, I was playing on a 2k monitor, so that could have been the problem.
Really addicting gameplay! I agree that some exit mechanic (victory condition, or some way for the difficulty to increase) would improve, because once I got the hang of it I found it easy to play forever.
Nice game! It took me a bit to figure out that I could click and hold instead of trying to click on beat, but once I got that down it was great. Amazing soundtrack!
Really nice visual style and smooth gameplay, all it needs is more content!
Thanks for joining the stream! Like others, here's the vod if you want to watch: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007338673
Really fun to avoid getting crushed, I found myself doing bigbrain dodges and feeling like an expert.
Really fun mood! The squeaky toy was funny. I loved the way the interrogator got more pissed off as I squeezed it.
Really nice art style. The game is extremely difficult, but I like the controls, so making it a bit easier would be a huge improvement.
Nice and tight game, easy to understand but I found myself discovering new techniques the more I played :)
I got really stuck on one level, it ended up taking like 25 of 45 total minutes, but once I got through I made it to the end! Great entry :)
What a stylish entry! I loved the audio here, and the graphics are perfect for the concept. I wish it was just a bit easier, but maybe I had a harder time with it than most.
The skill ceiling is so high on this game, I felt that I got better during my time with it but I could improve so much more. Nice job!
Really incredible graphics here, but I think the rocks got too dense too quickly. At a certain point it felt from easy to avoid to impossible to not hit rocks constantly.
Really nice atmosphere here, with a deep story that's clearly conveyed. Great work!
This game is kind of disjointed but still really interesting. I loved the opening cutscene, I found it interesting how different the game's graphics were compared to the realistic intro.
Really nice entry! I especially liked the fishing minigame :-)
Excellent entry! Easily the best game I've played so far.
Really great entry for your first game jam! I love the little potato folks. It would be cool if it started slower and sped up a bit as you get farther!
I also died while touching nothing a few times, which was quite frustrating, but other than that this was an excellent entry! This is one of those concepts that make you wonder why you didn't think of that.
Took me a little bit to figure out the mechanic with the dead bodies, but once I got it I was building bridges like a pro. I just wish it had more content!
I had a little trouble understanding how to play at first, but once I got it it was a blast! If I could recommend any change, it would be to add a super easy level before the current first level.
Really interesting concept for a game! I love the way you inverted the main mechanic for the boss fight. The voiceover was really entertaining while working through the levels also.
I just wanted to marry the elephant :(. Overall, I enjoyed this game! I would have enjoyed even more things to date/kill.
Like others have mentioned, the broom game freezes. Other than that, this was wonderful!
I set the best time ever for getting John's key! I liked the animations. I thought the platforming made the forest level too hard. The humor in the writing was good!
Really fun entry! I enjoyed the game loop, but wished that the car handling was a little tighter.
I really enjoyed the racing! I only wish there where more questions.
This game was really fun! I enjoyed the card based gameplay. I though the text on the striped background was very hard to read. Also, a lot of the levels were easy to beat if you focus on the boss. The music was boppin'.
Tons of fun! My biggest complaint by far is that there wasn't enough things to do in the game.
Very nice! I enjoyed the art style, and the fun photographs. I wish it as possible to play with less people!
I didn't try the text mode, but I really enjoyed the speech mode. After a few moments, I started to feel like I was getting the hang of the mechanic, and I managed to score 11 points before dying!
I really like the sound effects! I thought that it was quite difficult to understand where the building piece will be placed, but once I started to figure that out, it was pretty cool. Also, I'm not sure if this is the case, but it seems that the inspectors are simply proximity based, which meant they are very easy to avoid.
It would probably be good to upload the game as a .zip file, as .rar requires external software to open.
