I was really getting into the mood of this, with the lovely graphics and sound, and then it ended! I'd love to see a story develop through this.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD35 → my fathers apartment

I was just getting ready to be told an awesome story. I love the style. Ended too soon.
too soon...
This game feels like a lovely welcoming door that, when opened, leads directly to a solid brick wall.
Still was a nice door though...
...thank you?
I'm working on a post-compo version that will have a lot more content. This is very much a first draft. Thank you so much for playing.
My wife LOVES find-its. I've never seen one on Ludum Dare before, and I'm really glad to see that you made one. The art, music and design of the room are very well done. It really made me want to play more, and so I sincerely hope you continue. Wonderful job!!!
Loved it :) I really liked slowly getting a sense for the protagonist's relationship with his/her father through the memories of each object. I also liked the 80s B-Movie references
Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Great mood and aesthetic.
It is difficult, because there really is not much to judge. I like what I see and that atmosphere is great. I am sure the Post Compo version will be much better and people will like it a lot.
Loved to see a genre I'd not expected to encounter @ LD.
Nice mood too!
After some thought the whole experience made me think 'well, time-constraints really are the bane of existence for perfectionists*'.
On the off chance this hadn't already occurred to you; next time, may I suggest grabbing a couple of friends and going for the jam instead of the compo**?
Would indeed like to see a post-compo version, will have a look later.
*) Just at a guess from the way the art is so detailed, and it all hints at a far larger story.
**) I'm being a total hypocrite here, I'm afraid, but still :-)
Amazing mood and story, you gotta make it longer ?
Nice idea and atmosphere!
Loved the graphics but it ended too soon. I'd love to see more :)
Lovely graphics, I really like the art style :) Mixed with the music there was a very chill vibe which I enjoyed. I played the compo version, which is of course too short, but I think I might check out the post-compo just to see where this goes from there, there's potential in this for sure especially with the artistry. BTW I never knew about jukedeck.com and just looked it up, it looks interesting, thanks for the heads up on that!
for experienced Wheres Waldo players, this was easy, and very short, but I enjoyed it. It had a good mood.
I liked this a lot! Not sure how it fit the theme, but I have no other issues!
Lovely art and mood expressed through the music and text.
The post-jam does exactly what I was hoping in that you can explore more of the objects in the room if you want.
I love how the tones that play when you find objects mesh well with the music -- I used a similar technique in my game!
I'd consider letting the music keep playing when you hit the final screen, so the end isn't as jarring.
Great work!
I'm a big fan of hidden object games and dig the style and ambiance of the version you made for the compo; sad it was so short but excited to see more of it!
Well made.
The mood is set very well in this game, but the interpretation of the theme is perhaps a little too abstract. Perhaps if the scene changed over time to reflect emotions like abandonment and neglect, the theme would be better portrayed. Regardless a great effort on the presentation :)
It feels so deep and personal. The mood here it's excellent.
Loved how just the descriptions of the different objects and their history gave you so much insight into the characters and the history. Great descriptions which made it feel like you wanted to know the story behind every object in the room. Great storytelling.
wonderful artwork, i just thought it was a 3d game before i real to play it,this color collocation/the design in aesthetic aspect all really let me feel so warm and just like the feel when i was a child... but in another aspect, this may mix some new direction to understand and feel the theme's ambient.. but i incline to the view that this is what you want we got, really well done and have great originality..(first time play this type game which have this feeling)
otherwise, about the text(ui?) now,i feel it fit the sound effect great, but i think,if these text(ui?) could come to emerge more smooth and slowly it may could be more fit for the rhythm (not only music, more about totally atomosphere) and let the read more natural ? not sure which would be more appropriate,ToT i think this may the fun which to build interactive art (every change have different feeling and effect> <)
all in all,so nice game and worth to save/play with more friend. Cheers~
Really nice game! I included it in my video compilation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/sLxVMaXEMmg
I really hate you! The mood was so freakin great, I was so coursious about what's gonna happen next, and then.. NOTHING. How would you do that to me? You have to promise me next time you're going to do something more!
Great music & art. Rly. I WANT MORE.
Bit short but it's a pretty decent hidden object game plus your interpretation of the theme was rather interesting.
