Very cute, I enjoyed this game a lot. I may even take another crack at it later, it's kinda hard but I want to see the lasers!

Sounded interesting based on the about page, but nothing seems to happen after log in.
Awesome, one of my favorite entries so far. Beautiful art style.
This is great, I hope you keep working on it :)
Game doesn't scale to my screens resolution so I can't really play.
Ok so I got this error the first time I played. I wasn't able to replicate it a second time but it happened when I click the thing that makes the water come out.

I played with a controller as recommended. This was challenging and pretty fun, I'm actually about to check out the post-compo version now.
Your server died :( Maybe try hosting on itch.io?
This game lives up to its name.
Like you said, not really a game, but I liked it anyway, I like way you made the branching work, it's a cool concept :)
Very interesting game, I like it! Would be cool to see it developed a little further with more cards and better balancing.
Looks good, feels good, sounds good...yep, this is a good game!
Cool game! Pretty hard too, I like a challenge. Only made it wave 9 my first try.
First thing I noticed is when I pressed options the box is obscured by the title. I won't rate you less for that but that probably qualifies as a "typo" fix, just FYI. Also, choosing a resolution lower than the default doesn't scale the game down, it just cuts off part of the game.
Anyway, to the game: It's surprisingly deep, and not nearly as complicated to play as I thought it might be. I played through a full 15 week game as Trump (I don't support him IRL haha) and somehow lost Florida, and therefore the rest of the election, even though I spent most of my time there. Of course, Clinton was spending a lot of time there too. There are typos throughout the game, and some things could be more clear(for example, abortion is listed as pro-life vs pro-choice, so when I use the favor/oppose slider I'm not sure which side I'm favoring or opposing). Also, seeing as how Trump is a billionaire and Clinton has massive SuperPACs, the spending limits seemed too low. Giving both sides more money and allowing ads to be placed in a any state at any time would make sense. Also, web ads cost more than TV ads, and only show up in one state? That seems unrealistic though I'm sure it makes sense in terms of game balance. With all that said, as an avid watcher of politics I found the game interesting and if you develop it further I would like to see how it goes!
Really fun game, would love to play more levels
There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said, so ditto to all the positive comments above me, but I do wish there was a pause button. I couldn't finish the game because I had to step away from the computer and I was pretty much starved to death when I came back. Then again I didn't get a chance to put a pause button in my (inferior) game either so I guess I shouldn't be the one to talk about that :p
I don't know what happened but the game froze and the same couple seconds of music started looping. I had a few units each from the first 3 buildings active. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that in finding the error. I was having fun before it froze though, and I'm giving you a decent humor score just because I thought it was funny to click next wave repeatedly and watch the massive hoard attack (which surprisingly wasn't what crashed the game, go figure).
Pretty nice little sim game. There's not much challenge to it, but as a sandbox it works well.
Might as well have ignored the theme to be honest, it's pretty much unplayable using only two buttons. Not a bad concept though.
It's really hard, only got to 12%, but this is a neat game, I like it!
I had a lot of fun playing this
Great game! The music and sounds are quite good and the visuals are pleasing. Quite difficult, I only got up to LVL-5 but I'll be keeping this game around, maybe I'll take another crack at it sometime.
Very unique game, great art style and sound. I could only get through 3 days, I liked it though!
That was fun, I found my very absorbed in the game until the finish (BTW the ending throws an error, says it's trying to move to the next room after the last room). I like how you forced experimentation with the different seeds. Good game!
Wow, this is great! One of best entries I've seen so far. Excellent art style, great ending. The last line made me laugh :) My only quibble would be with the fight mini game. I didn't like that it was random letters each time, I think it would be better if it only chose between 2 or 3 letters.
All around good game. The gameplay, music, and graphics meshed well together, giving it a calm, relaxing vibe while still keeping me engaged. More levels would be cool, but even as-is I really enjoyed this one.
This is a really clever spin on this type of game. I really like it!
I love this game, the ever-expanding scale is very cool and Go Fast mode really gives you a sense of urgency. Rates highly on all metrics as far as I'm concerned.
Fun! I like how each level changes the game up somehow, especially the last one. I played through twice just so I could get on the high score list.
Yep, link is a 404 error. itch.io does that if you link to an unpublished game, you have to set it to public. Looks cool though, I'll check back later and try to play again.
Would be more enjoyable if we could strafe with A and D, but the take control of your monster mechanic was interesting.
Fun but really hard, I couldn't get past level 2.
Very interesting game, nice use of communication as a game mechanic. 5 stars for innovation!
Very interesting. I'd really like to see a game made out of that. Cool demo anyway.
I usually like hard games but this one is a bit too tough for me to get into. Great presentation though!
This is awesome, I was actually disappointed that it was over when I finished, I wanted to keep playing! The level of detail in the graphics is beyond any other entry I've seen so far.
Haha, died with "2much" score. I liked the move around by shooting mechanic, good use of two button controls.
I actually finished it, I was going to give up at the cave when I couldn't figure out how to combine the items but then I saw the screen shot. I like how you put in an alternate ending at the end. If you put a little more effort into the art and came up with some puzzles that can be worked out in-game you could make a decent adventure game out of this. The mechanics are there, they just need a little polishing. Good work for your first entry!
I like the idea, but the 2 button controls felt forced, I would have much rather had two movement buttons, or like another commenter suggested, no option to reverse movement. Another thing that would make the game better would be some kind of indication on the player square of what direction you're facing. I found myself shooting in unexpected directions when stopped near certain bumps. Nice music.
I love it! Looks, sounds, and feels great. So hard though! My high score is 14.
Fun game, I just wish there was a mute button. The music sounded good at first but it got old pretty quick.
This game is so funny.
"I put the 'Ass' in Jurassic"
And Barney is my soulmate apparently? LMAO
Good job!
If it was a little more forgiving of mistakes (maybe with checkpoints, or a score that decreases with mistakes instead of obscuring a number), I could see this as possibly an educational game teaching how to type on the numpad. Feels good, other than the misleading title it doesn't really fit the theme though.
This game makes me cringe. That said, it looks nice!
Interesting concept, it feels like the time passes too quickly to really enjoy what the characters are saying to each other though. I wouldn't mind seeing an extended version!
Finished in four attempts! This game was really fun, and looked great too. Very clever spellcasting system. I'd love to see this one expanded on. One of my favorite entries out of the 70+ I've played so far.
Neat little racing game. At first I thought it was a bit weird to play a racing game without brakes, then I realized that the plants from the previous laps could be used to my advantage, which is a pretty unique and fun mechanic. Looks pretty good too!
A little too easy to hold my attention for too long, very pretty visuals though, I like your style!
Nice visual effects and a unique control scheme. This was pretty fun, I got to 41560.
Cute graphics. Game got a little frustrating when moving to a rooms with nuts, not sure if it happens every time but the two nuts I found unavoidably damaged me when I entered the room.
This is fun! It felt very satisfying to upgrade my shape and blast through everything around me. Only thing I didn't really like was the sounds, they were a little bit annoying after a while.
Absolutely beautiful art, and the lathe is an incredibly unique mechanic in a game, sadly it's not really that fun after a while. Maybe if there was a little more leeway to make minor mistakes it would be a bit more fun, resetting the lathe repeatedly for slight errors got annoying. Overall this is an excellent entry regardless.
First try and I got 768! Honestly though I had no idea what I was doing until I was at about 500 points. I was just clicking the shapes that would give me the most points. Still, interesting concept if a little difficult to grasp.
High Score Proof: http://imgur.com/S28KHwR
Page wouldn't load, couldn't play. Try hosting elsewhere?
This was...interesting.
Very good entry, solid and unique mechanics. Like others have said some music would be nice but otherwise this is a great game.
Looks good and I like the music, but I couldn't play too long because hearing the same song restart every time I died got old quick
Pretty fun, the debris as another thing to be avoided was a nice touch. Would be neat to have a score counter.
Absolutely love the graphics and music. Nice game!
I like it! Simple but fun. If anything it would be cool to have a mode where you could see the outline of where the piece is going to land, sometimes I was off by one square and it screwed me up. That may be part of the design to make it more challenging though so I guess that could be an "easy" mode.
Totally unexpected, unique, and all around awesome :)
I only played a few times so I only got to 10. Really cool concept though, I enjoyed playing! Overall 4/5
Lovely graphics, I really like the art style :) Mixed with the music there was a very chill vibe which I enjoyed. I played the compo version, which is of course too short, but I think I might check out the post-compo just to see where this goes from there, there's potential in this for sure especially with the artistry. BTW I never knew about jukedeck.com and just looked it up, it looks interesting, thanks for the heads up on that!
Sorry, the jumping mechanics made this simply unplayable to me. Other than that it seemed like there was potential in this.
Sooooo incredibly unique. This gets a 5/5 overall rating for innovation alone. I hope this game goes far. Top 10 games I've played here so far without a doubt. Excellent work!
Lol this was...unique. I actually really like it though! Props for trying something different, it paid off :)
As others have said, too short :( I wanted to play more though so that says something!
Nicely done! I've played a few games similar to this but this is the best implementation of this type of game I've seen. I like it!
Very nice looking, and I enjoy the music. However I noticed the music wasn't actually made during the 72 hours of the jam. You shouldn't be asking for ratings in audio when that's the case.
I love games that address serious issues in an artful, unique way. This was excellent, thanks for sharing :)
Great music, looks neat, but I was stuck on trying to figure out a goal for a bit until I checked the comments. Lovely toy regardless :)
Another game about dreams :) (mine is too but in a very different, maybe less creative way)
This was pretty fun, though like others have said it would be a bit laggy at time, especially in the transitions between level layouts. Very unique idea though, with some nice graphics, sounds, and music, along with some more levels and more efficient code, you could really be on to something here. Keep working on it :)
I really liked this game, played it all the way through and would have played more. The simple graphics and audio worked well with this game and the gameplay itself had just the right level of depth and challenge to it. Well done!
This is fantastic! The climbing controls took some getting used to but otherwise I loved this game from the music, the sound, the graphics, and the challenging yet fun gameplay. Would have played more if there was more to play which is a good indication you've made a good game! 5/5
For a 6 hour game this is quite nice. The parallax background was an especially nice touch. I found myself wishing it was faster paced however, and I quit when a larger shape spawned on top of me and absorbed most of my progress almost immediately :( Like I said though, in 6 hours it's hard to get much better than this. Good job!
The main problem I had is that it seemed impossible to dodge the fists sometimes. Otherwise I enjoyed the graphical style and the apparent random generation of the level.
Interesting but glitchy. Getting stuck in the floors and walls constantly isn't much fun. I like the art and sound though!
Very cool art style! Enjoyable but repetitive gameplay.
High score 34! To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this game when I started it but it's actually quite fun and challenging. Nice game!
Very unique and addicting puzzle game! Very satisfying chain reactions :)
I noticed a minor bug, when you get a game over and restart, your new score is added to the previous scores when showing your final score at the end. Pretty neat little game though, I liked the intro :)
Took a few tries but this was pretty fun! I wished for more levels but I understand the time constraints and all things considered this was a good jam game.
I think this might be the only 5 stars for humor I've given so far. Funny game :)
Solid game, great graphics. I had a bit of trouble with the puzzles though, it can be a bit hard to see the keys
Great idea, I really like this entry! 5/5 on graphics, there's some great pixel art going on here. Could use some balancing definitely, it's pretty easy. At no point did I feel I was in any danger even at the final bosses, especially after I discovered a word (the word?) that causes 100 pts of damage. Maybe there could be a limit on words like that, or maybe make it so you're only allowed to use a word once per battle. I would enjoy seeing this developed further, it's a unique and entertaining idea for a game. Great job!
The whistle mechanic was great and I really like the idea behind this game. The graphics were excellent and the audio perfected the mood. The only problem is that it was very frustrating to go back to the beginning of the level with every mistake. Otherwise great entry!
I was put off by the title at first but I gave it a chance and wow, this was powerful stuff. 5/5
Absolutely my favorite game I've played this jam. Near perfection. I'm biased of course because I love unique platform games like this but the fact this was made in 72 hours is mind-blowing. This should be a top 10 overall game in my opinion, if not the number 1 winner.
PS the extra mode after 100% completion is great, almost makes me want to play again as a speed run but I've played this too long already, I should be rating other games! :p
This a very good looking game and it was fun to figure out how to make use of the various weapons. Was a bit difficult though, I kept finding myself dying very quickly. Maybe a moment of invulnerability after being hit would help, or maybe just being able to take more hits. Overall I do like this game, and it's one of the better looking ones I've seen so far.
Solid game. Would be nice if the transformations gave extra abilities like high jumps or speed boosts just to mix it up a little. Cool music but a bit repetitive.
Very nice for a first game! Coincidentally my first completed game was during the last Ludum Dare and was also a top down space shooter. Good job and keep working at building your skills, game development is a lot of fun :) I ran into the bug where enemies stopped spawning but I see you fixed that, I'm going to try the post jam version and see if I can beat that high score of yours :p
Psst...you shouldn't ask for ratings on audio or graphics if they weren't all made during the 72 hours. Just an FYI.
This is a really cool idea, unfortunately the collisions were a bit wonky (especially with enlarged or triangle shaped balls) making the game difficult to play for very long.
Interesting game and nice art but unfortunately a bit buggy. I got stuck in the wall in the bathroom.
Interesting. Not very "fun" but trippy imagery and sounds, I like the style.
Interesting concept but I can't even pass the first level.
Awesome! Got 18500 on my second run :) There's a great balance between being challenging without being frustrating. Very nice music and graphics as well. 5/5, one of the funnest games I've played during this jam.
Well, it's not exactly the top score, but I hope this is enough to keep me from falling off the list at least XD http://imgur.com/XHtw2EO
I've played several games with similar "switch between shapes with different powers" mechanics but this is the best of them I've played. Good job :)
This is a nice little game. I like the music! I just wish it would keep track of my score, that would make it pretty addicting :)
There's no reason for a tiny Gamemaker game like this to need an installer. Next time just give us a playable .exe please?
Got an error trying to run in Firefox.
Pretty looking and great music! I feel like I've played 20 games like this so far in the jam so it's a little bit tiresome, but this is one of the better implemented of these types of games I've seen though so points for that!
Unintuitive controls made this hard to play. 1 for bottom left, 2 for up, and 3 for bottom right would have been much less confusing. Unique game regardless, nicely done
Can't jump high enough to make it very far :(
Controls are super confusing. I like the art style though!
