I love the game !!! I can't vote because I didn't participate in this LD. But I'd vote it 10 star if I could!
I only got a 256. But It is well done and polished.
Wow nice work ! You did a great job with the graphics/visual effects. The game mechanic is awesome :)
Neat game. I like how the highlight for the shapes shows the color they will turn to next
Seems very polished and nicely done! great job
got arond 500 points maximum ;)
306
Interesting! I followed a plan that focused on getting as much squares on the board as possible, ignoring the placement of my clicks in the process. That didn't work quite so well. I got 316 but the later half of the game was pretty much random after seeing that my plan didn't turn out to be well thought out. :)
It has a simple but neat twist to puzzle games and it successfully gets the player in the mood. Solid entry!
Nice!
give it more fx
602 was my best. I wasn't actually sure what determined how many neighbouring cells were selected as it seemed to choose some neighbours but not all.
It was a shame there wasn't any sound as the general presentation was otherwise really nice. You got that puzzle game visual feedback right.
I was also just about to submit my rating when I suddenly felt an urge for one more go (and improved my score) so it's clearly worked.
Thanks for the comments and feedback so far! I really appreciate it. What I've found to work well is to try to get as many shapes of one type on the board by "consuming" shapes near the edges, then going for the biggest combos. Scoring high requires some kind of strategy, but I'm not sure if I've found the best one yet. I hope someone is able to get >800!
@wumpus: You can enable sound in the menu before starting the game. Music and click sound. I wasn't sure if enabling sound by default was a good idea or not. Maybe I should have, though. :-)
Solid, simple, creative and interesting!
I started off with "That's simple, I know these kind of games"
Turns out, this game is totally different, because it needs a very brain-twisting strategy to beat it. That said, i did not get a score higher than 492.
All in all a very lovely game, thanks :)
Lovely graphics, well made game. I included it in my video compliation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/NUKW4hicpYU
Nice and clean, well done!
Cool idea and very clean graphic style.
Like the minimalist style.

(and nice sound but you should enabled sound by default)
Nice work. Simple, clean, and surprising complex. Everything about the design just works, and feels right. I'm not very good though. My best was 464 :P
My best game was 635. I like the idea, but the more complex strategy eludes me.
Nice game, but can't really say that I know what counts as a good tactics. :) Reached 543 points on first try.
That's a nice puzzle game. Looks clean, works well and the music/sfx is great too! The logic behind the selected area seems very random. If you could explain it or make it easier to understand somehow, the game would be a lot better. Now it's quite hard to see why I failed and how can I improve.
709 points, almost got there!
@M2ias: The tiles are selected in a diamond / 45 degree square, and any shapes within that selection will score you points. Not sure if this works, but:
__o__
_ooo_
ooooo
_ooo_
__o__
So if the piece you click is a square, then any square within the "diamond" will give you points. See the instructions for how many points each combination will give. :-)
Thanks for the feedback! It's really useful and good to know if I decide to take the game further some time in the future.
Nice game, great ececution. Definitely good candidate for mobile ;)
Nice game! Takes a second to get used too, but worth the time.
First try and I got 768! Honestly though I had no idea what I was doing until I was at about 500 points. I was just clicking the shapes that would give me the most points. Still, interesting concept if a little difficult to grasp.

@curtamyth: Congratulations!
Minimal, but still encourages you to find the best tactic for getting best points. That's really good :)
Definitely default the sound on, just make it possible to turn off mid-game :) (Or maybe make it possible to turn on mid-level)
First time I managed to score 577, second time 673, but only 681 the third time. I really think you did a good job here, in the 48 hours of the compo! It really feels like there's a lot of depth here, but I also tried curtamyth's strategy of just taking the biggest points until the endgame, and that netted me 723. Perhaps I was applying certain strategies and not realising it, but it could mean the depth is something of an illusion. The first thing that pops into mind would be having cleared spaces still count for the scoring to make the end game more lucrative? All in all, I enjoyed my time with this one a lot, though!
I got 464 points!
Well chosen colors, it is simple and addictive.
this was a very good game - very polished and a lot of fun - great job
