This is really good for a typing game, great concept. Nothing much to complain about at all except the speed of terrain scrolling maybe. Everything else that you can improve beyond the 48 hr deadline I won't mention but this has potential to go further, keep it up!
Pretty fun to play with, I tried separating the red particles, bringing them together, and eventually my spirit reached some kind of stasis and floated in the middle with a full green body! But I couldn't get farther than that, and after kicking around the red evil blobs for a bit I was done. Nice job!
This is really engrossing! And it feels alot like pretending to drive when you're a little kid with the slap-at-the-keyboard control scheme it allows, I really liked it!
High scores all around.
Just follow my lead, Creature. We got this.
Not bad! I could only turn right for some reason, but shooting and killing the germs was fun while it lasted.
I gave this high scores actually! You did well in a short time. It was fun, it had a story, win/fail states, and the attack was original.
Well done man.
This gets my highest score yet! Great work, man.
I agree there are some things that could have been added but there is a deadline after all, this was really cool.
High scores from me, this was fun! I enjoyed throwing slime at the other slime NPCs and watching their reaction, until I triggered the human invaders and they slaughtered everyone wounded knee style, as you mention in the description.
Not to spoil what happens next but I did start fighting with the other slimes and eventually died (probably by bumping into the guarding human too many times). I'm sure there's more to discover but after 2 deaths I gotta move on and review more games, good work!
After abducting many moos I killed as many turrets as I could until dying gloriously in battle, the alien way. Good game!
I'm from MT and we're all about cow abduction and vivisection out here! Not that that's a good thing. Hmm.
Great overview, you definitely need some more graphics and some scripting to restart at death. It appears I defeated everyone by simply abducting them but hey, that works!
If Ausland is going to be some kind of Grimreaper archetype from another dimension or planet I'll definitely be interested to see where this goes. Keep it up!
Wow you really coded in all those features? Impressive! It's satisfying to throw a knife into an enemy and then pop around the corner while they bleed out, nice work on the combat, and making it all work in topdown with 3D walls.
Great tower defense idea! Well done. Could have used audio and it seems you have to refresh the page to restart but that's minor for an LD entry.
Props to the Christmas Story/Ovaltine reference! Before I realized what was going on I scrolled to the top and saw my monster MC facepalming, which made me laugh, so the monster hunter of course got me.
The second time around, I got the hang of it. Skitter my spiders, skitter!
Argh Sussan yah big cry babeh I'm just trying to steal a baybeh leave meh alone!
Great game, high scores.
High scores all around, great work man.
Couldn't fire, couldn't occupy a ship, not sure how to, but will check back on this and vote later! Congrats on getting it in.
This is a flawless victory.
Great art here, smooth animation, nice work! Definitely keep developing this.
It doesn't fit the theme but it works well enough as a functioning game I'd say!
They need to be orchestrated and led like the perfect pack. Like raptors. otherwise they get smeared out by those shotguns pretty fast, I didn't make it far but this was cool. Nice work!
Wooo I made it! Just barely. This was great, well done.
Fun! It's a simple game but still difficult (I played on Medium). I had to click back all the way out to leave instructions but that's minor. This is a great submission for the theme.
Web player up! That should work. Thanks for the heads up!
This was great, especially the enemies, awesome design concepts there, inspired by Davinci? The weapons were perfect for the theme as well. The view from the lighthouse was cool, watching enemies get closer while range attacking them was very satisfying. You did good with the scoreboard signpost as well. Really a great submission all around. Good job.
A solid top down shooter, fits the theme well enough with the MC and the weapon being an ancient one, the background music/ambience is kind of spooky and trippy with the chanting(?) I liked it. Game gets increasingly difficult as enemies spawn exponentially as any survival shooter should, the controls are bit disorienting at first only because she will glide or auto-walk in whatever direction you last issued with the arrow keys but that's not a problem as it keeps the sense of action up. Good work!
Tight controls, the music was better than your description lead me to believe. The game mechanics were good, I found myself almost jumping over the villages instead of passing them fire because of the twitch factor of jumping over obstacles, you really have to stay sharp to get a good score. Better than an infinite runner because you can control your speed.
Ah man I set a goal for 20 but the challenge of this game is real! Juggling food while you toss the fire (to avoid the rocks) really helps though. What a great game, seriously fun, the black and white style was great wink to the theme (along with everything else being properly ancient). The sound effects are charming and great, the art is just right. This is a good game.
What a great entry, like any other distance game trying to beat your record is highly addictive but you went beyond just allowing upgrades through purchasing - this has a crafting system, a great touch. The sounds are good, graphics are great, the random occurrence of obstacles can make things difficult but you kept the odds pretty fair I'd say, it's certainly not an impossible game but when you have a bad run you really feel it. The controls are intuitive and fluid, and give you a real sense of urgency when you start to lose your momentum and fall back to earth. Good stuff.
What a great game, the music is super relaxing and trying to toss the blocks just right can be addicting. As the levels progress the smaller construction zones make it even more difficult. I was impressed with this submission. Some sound effects for the catapult launching might have been nice, but besides that can't ask for much more, you did well on realizing the concept of this one.
Great concept, great execution. It's all about timing it seems, making sure you get back to whipping the instant the MC returns to his starting position. Only thing that could have been added was some "ouch" sounds from the minions as they get whipped.
Controls weren't so bad really, this had potential, but I understand not wanting to carry on with a tool you don't like. Killing enemies is satisfying as they leave a swath of carnage behind (or in front) of you, getting a good launch while putting distance between you and the enemies is also satisfying. Sound effects would be nice but again I understand you just wanted to move on and check this in. Sticks well to the theme with the use of the catapult.
I supposed jumping is the most ancient technology. Nice simple game, great music, could have used a score counter at the very least so you know how far you've gone. I'm here because you're ranked among the top "deserves feedback" games, well done.
