Interesting. As others have said, the zooming out, while a neat idea, makes the game too small too quickly. I wish there was a way of attacking, I got tired of running away from the horde of enemies. I think with a few additions to the game-play, and altering the zoom out, it could be cool!
Okay I liked this! I thought at first you might play with the idea of controlling multiple screens at once. But it was easier that you didn't.
I only got 14. It gets tricky pretty quick.
Like the little musical touch.
Would have loved to see some kind of movement from one screen to another. Not sure how that would work though...
Sort of fun, but I think too easy? Maybe if the car moved around and you had to keep up with it, so you didn't roll off the side.

Feels to me like the perfect Ludum Dare project. Just enough there to prove out the idea, and plenty to build on later.
I've gotta come back to this game with a bigger monitor...
Enjoyed it! Didn't get super far, because I didn't realize what I was supposed to do with the items until now. I got stuck after reaching that dead-end bridge. I thought I was supposed to go somewhere else from there. I really dig the atmosphere of the whole thing. I think that if extended into a bigger concept it would be really cool! Good job!
Hard game! But quite well put together. A little bit of an easier time in the beginning would have been nice. Cool sprites. Nice that you have multiple enemy types. Also like the idea of the spawning areas moving. I wish I would shoot and destroy the spawning areas too though!
Really like it. Very solid gameplay for something made in 48 hours.
However I did get stuck. Once the dude rose up from the ground I couldn't figure out how to progress. Those animals kept eating my trees!!
I had to give up after my hand got tired from clicking.

I liked the audio, had me laughing a few times. Especially the "no problem son".
Good speed. Challenging enough. I could see this expanded if you wanted into other cooking type things. Or maybe other dad jobs.

I think if this was on mobile, and it was faster, and had multiple coins on the screen at once, it could be challenging and quite fun!
Enjoyed it! Like others said, the voice over stuff was hilarious. Something that mixes your sense of humor and storytelling with a less tedious game would be a serious winner! I look forward to your next game.
Would have liked to have been able to tighten up the turn radius sometimes.
But I actually like the idea of having a game where you run circles around the enemies. Very dog-fight like.

But yeah. I like some of this. Especially the thoughts about cats.
No cat makes better games than this.
However, I found it hard to aim where I wanted. This prevented my maximum pleasure.
I dig the graphics.
Before I understood what I was doing I just tried to collide the Saab with the brain. It didn't work.
For a tiny little adventure of a game, it was quite fun! Made me smile.
I think there is a bug where you can drag things onto the tan parts and although they don't show up, they still seem to shoot. I was a little confused by that.
With some polish I can see this being fun!

Really not sure how you'd make it better, it kind of is what it is. Maybe branching paths?

I think it could be interesting to carry the concept further. Maybe a platformer where you can't see the obstacles or the enemies but instead they are described? Could be cool.

Controls were a bit clunky. But it was playable and actually a good little challenge!
Seemed like the enemies got right on top of me very quickly.
Seems like the highscore page wasn't working.
With smother controls and some more variety (power ups, enemies, etc) I can see it being pretty fun!
This game really surprised me! I liked it a LOT!
It seemed like a very straight forward platformer at first, but with disappearing stuff.
Once you introduce the number keys it got a lot more interesting.
The last checkpoint on was frustrating. But in a good way. In a "this game is tricky, but I don't wanna give up" way.
I think that a longer game that used a mechanic like this could be a heck of a cool thing. I hope you make one!

Took me a minute to figure out I was also playing a game in the game in the game...
Fun. Love the little added things like the stuff on the desk you can play with.

Cool mechanic! Haven't seen anything quite like it before.
However I found it super hard! I kept letting go of the keys when I thought I had moved and then I died. Probably something you'd get used to, but threw me off.
I also liked the scrolling text.
Something like this where you could also shoot would be gleeful fun.
This was very cool. Love how the news story subtlety gave instructions.
Short and sweet.
Only complaint was that sometimes the thumb moved unpredictably. But it would probably be too easy otherwise.

Quite challenging! Would have liked a reminder of what the "buying" keys do on the main game screen, because I forgot immediately which go to what.
With some spruced up graphics/sound and different enemies I could see it being a good bit of fun.
Actually reminds me of a TI83 calculator game I used to play. I think with some added levels, and maybe even a level editor, this could be pretty cool. I did have some issues with the collision detection. Sometimes I'd be hovering, or on red but not dead. Is there a way to win?

Pretty cool! My first play-through I never ran into an enemy. Second time around I ran into a whole gang of them. Blasted through the ones in front, and ran away from the rest. Managed to deliver to J-2 both times! For a compo game, I think it was quite good. Adding some more features would make it quite a fun little game. Good job!

The haunting music adds a creepy feel. I was a bit confused by parts of it. The controls would sometimes feel stuck when changing directions. Enjoyable game!

Throwing a pillow is a proper response when ghosts vomit on you!
