Yay I managed to get the last one when 14 seconds were left :D Pretty nice entry
I like the graphic style and the idea but the pakour is ver hard
Really cool graphics style, and nice tight controls.
radical!
Nice skateboarding entry, would be nice if the turning was a bit more polished but fun entry with clear goals.
I love the 2D on 3D graphic style
Not really feeling the theme, but yeah the 2d peeps in the 3d world looks great. Maybe a current speed indicator would be good too.
I like your theme. The controls are pretty hard when moving really fast though. congrats on submitting your game
The idea seems cool but the game was really confusing. I loved the art though.
Leaped out of the map. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Awesome stuff! great job... was all over the place, enjoy knocking over people :)
I like the idea behind this game - it feels very Jet Set Radio at heart. Unfortunately, I feel that the controls here are a little bit unwieldy, especially compared to the level that players are expected to navigate with them. I think the biggest problem is that it feels like it takes too long to stop/build up speed, which makes jumping off of ramps especially cruel.
I really like the graphics, though. Everything has a very loving, hand-drawn, watercolor feel to it which lends this game a real sense of uniqueness and personality.
I like the graphics style!
Not quite sure how it links to the theme :)
A skateboarding game! The art style works quite well, and the billboards and vocal samples were funny. I think mouse controls would have worked better for turning, so that you could turn at more than one speed. It was fun to explore and find the orbs :)
wicked radical
I immediately saw what I had to do and how to do it. However the camera work is a bit stiff and turning corners, especially while on boxes, was difficult to do in time.
Perhaps a camera that was pulled back and up a bit looking down on the player would of resolved this problem.
Did have me going for a bit tho! I was definitely attempting jumps multiple times. Good entry!
A nice one!
I love the funny vocal clips and the billboards : ]
a bit confusing when it got really fast
I liked the aesthetics, including the cool details like the changes on people's facial expressions when you ran over them. The controls could have been smoother but good start given the short time frame!
Great entry, but the controls are really counter-intuitive: eg. building up speed very slowly and keeping the momentum when running against walls. If you need a good reference game for skateboarding, play a Tony Hawk's game. Btw you can jump over a fence and out of the map on the one block where you need to stop and turn.
I would expect running into a wall would stop the character, instead of momentum being maintained.
Cubes didn't disappear instantly, led me to turn circles to see if I did collect them.
Hitboxes were too large on the light posts, couldn't physically fit through places that I visibly could.
I got stuck in a corner and had to refresh the game to get out.
No restart option when finishing the game, had to refresh.
No restart option after running out of time, had to refresh.
I ran out of time after winning because the timer didn't stop even though control did.
No clue how the theme applies to this.
I like the drawn style on the windows, people, and bins. Everything else looks out of place.
I laughed out loud at the vocals -- "Amazing as heck!"
Like others have said, the movement is pretty difficult, but I liked the style and the idea.
The graphics were pretty nice looking, and I like the concept. Controls are a little hard to use but I enjoyed it. Nice job!
To be honest, I liked the audio most. I found the course not too hard, made it at the second attempt, after falling out of the map the first time. Overall, for an action game it could use more pace.
Very nice project guys, i really love it, please check our game too and if you liked it give us a vote. Look for Road to hell and enjoy.
