great graphics and fun concept. my biggest criticism is that the controls feel a bit too light and floaty for brick smashin' monsters, but great effort nonetheless!

great graphics and fun concept. my biggest criticism is that the controls feel a bit too light and floaty for brick smashin' monsters, but great effort nonetheless!
very nice game! great art and music, fun gameplay. could be a little more challenging and I'm not sure what the bombs are meant to be (looked a bit like a life jacket to me) but really enjoyed it. my score was 9470
solid game with well designed puzzles. wasn't super keen on the ending (unless I was missing something?) and could've been more involved with the theme. overall a great game though!
you really are a monster, trying to make people play a game about MATHS! lovely soundtrack, nice graphics, my biggest criticisms is that the majority of damage I took came from offscreen enemies that never actually appeared, and that sometimes the sums would overlap each other making it difficult to read. a fun and original entry though, nice work!
wow, very cinematic! great graphics and great mood (though it would maybe benefit from some creepy music, but I'm impressed with how much you achieved in the time)
it's a little easy to click fast and outspeed the police, maybe it would be better if it was turn based or there was a short time limit on how often you can click? great game though, well done
looks like a few of us had a similar idea but it's interesting to see how vastly different they all play. I found this a little unintuitive at first and then quite difficult, but interesting. it's a little melancholic but I don't mind that, and I also enjoyed the conspiracy stuff and x-files reference. good effort!
a unique and interesting concept. would benefit from some audio but good effort nonetheless!
fun stuff! not easy to control at first, but the swooping death runs are very satisfying when you succeed! charming graphics and cute bird noises. great work!
movement is a little slow but the trees and shrubs are really cute! (btw you mixed up left and right hit in your description on this page)
another nessie game! seems a few of us went for this theme and it's great to see how different they all play. I had a lot of fun with this one, charming graphics, amusing voice acting and great music. the controls could be a little unresponsive at times and it wasn't too clear what affected your health bar (which I didn't even spot at first), but overall this is a fun entry with lots of nice touches like the waves and the outro etc. great work!
really like the graphics and ship design. I found the game too hard when trying to kill every ship and too easy when just rushing to the stargate. maybe an autofire mechanic would help balance combat rather than relying on how fast I can mash spacebar. nice game though, good effort!
really nice aesthetic. a couple of bugs I noticed: the music doesn't play on any subsequent runs, you have to relaunch the game. also you can get caught up in an obstacle and taken from full health to none in a split second rather than receiving one hit. I'm not sure how well it fits the theme, and some kind of goal beyond survival would've been nice (even if it's just a high score of how many cars you destroyed), but all in all it's a fun game with a cool aesthetic and I enjoyed it. good effort!
oh, one other thing, sticky keys! maybe shift wasn't the best choice ;)
great soundtrack! gameplay is smooth and solid, if a little repetitive. good effort!
wow this is really impressive, nop-notch sound and graphics! great job
*top-notch :P
possibly one of the best bike-riding flame-throwering sea-gulling simulators I've ever played
it's like the opposite concept to my game! :D
not much of a challenge but cute graphics and a nice first attempt at LD. good effort!
good fun, reminiscent of the early GTAs with a godzilla twist. my only criticisms are that it would've been nice to have been a bit of a larger monster and also the gun fire from the officers on foot is barely audible. nice work!
the undead prevail! wow, this is really fun, has huge potential. great job!
simple concept with basic but effective graphics. found a couple of bugs where I would either be stuck moving in a direction or be charging my laser without holding the mouse button, unfortunately couldn't recreate them so not sure exactly what causes them. game would really benefit from some audio, and it would be nice if the score and instructions were on a GUI element rather than in a set place on the level. good effort!
fantastic soundtrack! cute game, satisfying to destroy the environment, nice touches like avoiding the cameras, just wish the actual rampage was a little longer. nice work!
fun little puzzle game with a narrative, would really benefit from some sound but very nice effort for 12 hours work
great art, nice audio and fun platforming concept. good work!
very nice graphics, good effort!
great title, great eyebrows, great job!
very fun entry! great graphics, audio and mood. I have to admit though I did avoid the powerups for a while until I realised they weren't just part of the scenery. nice work!
radical!
really lovely art and a great atmosphere, gameplay is a little lacking but still a nice experience. good work!
@moon519 I wonder if the seemingly unresponsive controls are actually the mechanic of having a slight pause between each swim stroke so that you can't spam it? if so then it's intentional, but cheers for the feedback
cheers all
as for the difficulty; when I was playtesting the game it originally started with just one tourist on level 1, two on level 2 etc, but those first two levels were too easy and boring, so I decided to just jump straight to the more engaging gameplay. if you're having difficulty, I found praying to the gods of RNG and holding my breath in real life really helped :P
really lovely art and an original concept, though it gets quite fast and tricky after a couple of houses. nice work!
the audio is great, gives it a lot of atmosphere. the art is simple but effective. lacks depth but good effort
great little game! fun and amusing, and very satisfying blowing up the buildings. last boss made me laugh out loud. my only criticism is that the people are difficult to see on the dark roads. really good stuff, well done!
would really benefit from some random sounds when you change faces. a fun little idea though
really great art and a nice little bit of story. the gameplay isn't as strong and you can jump your way through an entire level avoiding everything, but still a very charming game. good effort!
amusing game, think I enjoyed the story and art more than the gameplay. good effort!
simple but solid. great music and sfx, clean and fitting graphics, very nice work!
nice art and atmosphere, felt like a classic unforgiving choose your own adventure book, nice to see multiple endings. great work!
amazing music that compliments the great 80's aesthetic. tough game! my highest score was only 335. would be nice to have a different animation when in the air. great job! (also, in reference to an earlier comment: worked fine for me in firefox)
at first I immediately died several times, then I noticed the room boundaries (which really could've been clearer) and understood the movement a little better, and started to have a lot of fun! cute art, an odd but enjoyable choice of music and delicious upgrades to choose from. sfx would've been nice and not sure how it fits the themes. I defeated 4 bosses. good work!
fun and amusing, certainly not easy, my highest score was only 16m. a little frustrating when you dropped a container and it would collide with an instantly appearing new container before it had gone anywhere. lighthearted entertainment, good effort!
very challenging but fun. great cohesive retro feel with the graphics and audio. nice work!
changing levels after everything is cut rather than having it regrow would have kept things fresh, and sometimes it was frustrating that an unavoidable bomb would spawn under me when moving. otherwise a simple but solid effort.
wow I really like this, great glitchy music and sfx, simple but fun controls and even an innovative menu, great work! my only complaint is that sometimes it's simply impossible to reach areas in time, maybe a mechanic where pressing both buttons together would flip you to the opposite side would be good?
nice game! cool concept, well executed and great art. I was foiled by the rat king but I enjoyed myself! good job
worryingly realistic chat simulator! interesting and amusing game, great writing, nice job!
pretty confusing and lack of sound is a shame, but an interesting concept. good effort!
great presentation. slightly unintuitive control and I simply couldn't clear the last spike which got frustrating after many attempts, but at least it was challenging?! good effort
great narration, shame it was so short! would have loved to continue the story further
@equiposalchicha - the sudden close is likely due to unfortunate button placement; if you go for another match after the winning match there's a good chance you'll hit the exit button as it's appearing, a bad design choice I noticed too late.
there doesn't seem to be any win or lose conditions and the hitbox on the food is a little unforgiving, but it's an amusing little game with some nice touches like the change in friction on sand and the race
nice graphics and concept but I found it too difficult; landmines will have to be hit eventually, fast seeds are too unpredictable and hit almost instantly, and there's not enough room to avoid the slow tracking seeds. good effort though!
simple but pleasant graphics and smooth physics, the collisions between the drops and trees could have been better (hitting the whole tree rather than just the trunk), and some background music would be nice. good effort!
