This was a rather fun game! I'm sure everyone around me was wondering what prompted all the noise I was making with my keyboard!

Was super excited to play, but it just crashes for me. On windows 10, not sure if that makes a difference
Ah, never mind. It's working for me now! Awesome game. Reminds me of Pokemon and Dragon Quest
You could probably ship this as a game right now. I'm digging the art style, and came over to check out this game after seeing your blog post. Death-by-ice-cream-truck would suck on a tombstone. 5 Star Game.
Lot of fun
Awesome mechanics. Fun Game.
I'm REALLY liking the style on this one, and the whole water thing is funny when you think about cats + water (not sure if owls don't like water or not). Luckily, I had a few Xbox controllers laying around.
unplayable without a game controller
I like the simple art and the cool dance animations.
The poor dogs of war! Points for mood, even if it is a sad mood.
Oh man, I'll be playing this one a few times over. Great Execution! I'm a sucker for rhythm/timing based games. Funky Fighting!
Cool concept. Nice tutorial, it really helps you get right into it.
The title alone made me want to play this game! Oh, and Knuckles.
I suppose an axe could be considered "unconventional" when up against a wolf, unless the adrenaline kicks in :D
This is really clever and just artistically pleasing to look at. I love the scanline/tube tv effect (had to use a larger screen/resolution), and the music is really immersive.
Excellent game! One of the few that kept me coming back for more.
I'm loving the Nuclear Throne -esque gameplay. Congrats, as this is a fun game for this being your first jam entry!
I like the minimalist graphics, and the concept of using a flute to control the scene, but I think I've probably had way too many mini-heart attacks with those jumps, and not just because of the distance but because my jump didn't always register.
The monologue introduction in itself makes the game. It's hilarious.
Good job. Candy Mines were my favorite.
I think my favorite part about this game is that is the fact that the Robot's screech is a dialup tone!
Platforming on a cart has proven to be quite challenging haha! I would recommend that anyone else playing this not try to jump too far above the Wizard, or you'll trapped having to find a proper insult!
Points on giving me a rather unconventional weapon that is literally the brush end of a boom while locked in a small room with a zombie.
It's hard to tell if I actually land a hit on the zombie (until they die of course), and the camera doesn't help when I accidentally walk past him. However, the mood is definitely good with the lighting, post processing, and the audio.
This is an example of how a strong mechanic can make a game fun regardless of graphics. Not a lot of variation, but this is enough of a simple game that I could play on a mobile device if waiting for a bus/train or something. Good show!
I almost felt that the kitchen was an unconventional weapon itself (more like a trap haha!), but concept wise, I could see this being one of those mobile games! My recommendation would be to ease the abilities some, and make it a bit more accessible. I felt quite loss and overwhelm respectively when see a bunch of available abilities while be severed by a circular saw and fork :D
This is gold. Definitely bookmarking this one. I love the billboarded sprite artstyle.
Nicely done. Clean, functional and fun.
This is a pretty interesting game! I'll admit it started off a bit hard for me, but I caught on after like the 5th or 6th death :)
Very good presentation, especially within the time frame. Will have to add this to my "Play Again" folder ;)
I made it past the Hoverbike part haha! All those point-and-click games from elementary school finally came in handy!
Disperse: Glad you like it! Numpad and Alpha keys were implemented, If you get a chance to play it again and they aren't working, feel free to let me know which browser you are using (unless it's the exe ;) )
Thanks arhitect404! We'll see about resolving those issues for ya, but yeah, we're the real monsters ;)
Walaber: Thanks! If you make it past a certain score, additional levels appear ;) Perhaps I'll update the score GUI to indicate that?
dalbinblue: Major thanks on the review and critique, totally keeping all of that in mind!
yuigoto, bvanschooten: I'm glad you liked the game! Also, I updated the apk link for ya, sorry about that :)
Very nice. I like the aesthetic!
Smart concept, but that first level was really hard! I'm still trying to beat it! Had to mute after about 3 minutes, that jump sound was on it's way to giving me nightmares! :D
This was great. The background music really helps in making this feel very parody-like. Great job! When's this going on mobile?
This is incredibly well polished, and it's nice to see someone else aim for an unexpected genre ;)
I'm another fan of LD multiplayer games. Great job guys!
My biggest criticism is that I got killed right at beginning of the level by a bull after waiting 20 seconds for the camera to focus on me, and then each time you die, I had to wait for the camera again.
On the plus side, the graphics are pretty nice.
I felt bad the moment I sat down the first time. I'm such a cute and adorable building monster that's responsible for millions in property damage...
Congratulations! I Won!
This is really polished visually, and all the audio is really good. I wasn't sure if the game is meant to run infinitely, so I just stopped dancing. Some more stages or a speed up would be cool.
Great Job, especially for your first LD (and solo). The style overall won me over.
This was really fun and addictive. It took me a while to get through level 1, and level 3 had me laughing with how many times I crashed. I feel like an Alien taking their driving test!
I should have prepared myself for this a bit more XD I don't know what I was expecting! HAHA. I could actually see people playing this on mobile!
Wow, I would consider myself a pretty decent typist, but tracking individual keys down under stress makes me feel like a novice! haha!
Very nice visuals and UI! The movement controls are a bit difficult though, notability, the movement rotation seems a bit high.
Hilarious Name! Dino game as well makes me happy. Wanted to go for a rampage like game myself!
I like the rendering effect. The mood reminded me of a mix between 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien.
The only problem I had is that the mouse wasn't staying focused in the screen for me.
