@jerombd yeah, we have 5 more scenes half-baked that have some fun new metamechanics (e.g. erasing parts of math equations), but we wanted the actual LD submission to be solid.

Innovative idea, but the split-attention aspect was kinda frustrating.
Controls were wonky - if you hold down one direction, and then a second (e.g. up+left) and then release the second, the first isn't resumed, the player simply stops.

Fun! The art is pretty great except the color choices hurt the eyes. Try generally cranking down that saturation, use tone (lights and darks) more so than color to control what draws the eye. Use higher saturation minimally to make stuff pop usually mid saturation is more then enough.
I couldn't help but expect the WASD controls to be direction-relative.
Nice game! Cute design! When you are picking colors make sure you are varying the tone enough. Those snooty dudes and their bullets look like background decorations. A good way to check is to convert a screenshot of your game to grayscale and see if things still read. If it doesn't, make some things lighter or darker until it does.
