Milo: I agree. Some sort of power ups that need to breed into the sheep may come in a post-compo version.
Sanguine: Thanks! How far did you make it? It gets really hard around day 12-15.

Great game. I _had_ to finish it! Now it's tomorrow so I must sleep. Keep up the good work.
I love the achievements; they really kept me playing. Unique idea; what to not just build another platformer!
Had fun destroying these; it was fun but I'd definitely like to see you add a post compo version with lots of other levels. Nice work.
I love it. I really enjoyed all the subtle effects; they made the game feel much more polished than a 72 hour game.
My character did seem to move a few pixels up and/or right when I was life-sucking; made me bounce around a lot even though I thought I was safe.
Great take on the theme. Where's the music from? It sound very familiar.
I really got into a groove while shooting stuff. I think the music is perfect for this game. Shooting felt very smooth and responsive, nice work.
I liked the effects you chose. The graphics look great. I could really have used some music though. Fun gameplay; I really liked the aiming mechanic. Nice work
Wow. Good work. I just had to finish this game. The mechanic was a lot of fun.. just a little off.. will try to time it up better.. jump / miss .. SOO close.. Fun.
A fun short game. I'm not sure what the items were for / did?
So good... the leaderboard really helps with this kind of game.. just had to get a better score...
Crazy click-fest with meaning. Well done.
AMAZING! I loved it!
Very creative! The levels and puzzles are very nicely done. Feels very polished.
Wonderful, didn't see the ending coming, good work.
Looks nice. I can tell you spent some time polishing, it shows. Fun gameplay / experience. Keep up the good work.
I think there may be a render bug when in "level 1 with help" mode. If I swap my tiles, the "helper squares" don't update until I try to place it somewhere.
Good work, I really enjoyed one-shotting bears in the face. The music was perfect for this game. I agree that the difficulty needs to scale up somehow.
Very nice! I had a lot fun with the challenges. It's always good when you forget that you are rating games and just get sucked into one. The wall jumping felt a little strange; eventually I got the hang of it.
Hilarious! Had a lot of fun playing this.. and lost track of time. That's a good sign for your game, and bad for my lunch break! >.<
Looks like a great start. I feel like rogue-likes have a lot of early investment in development time. Map generation, input, combat basics, etc. Looks like you have a lot of that done, should be a nice springboard to continue working on.
Also, please allow the user some sort of key-down repeat so that I don't have to tap 1000 times to run across the room. ;)
This does remind me of monkey ball. Very difficult on the first level, I made it well into the negative points! I got angry and addicted very quickly. Nice work.
Fun game. The shots felt a little underpowered. I liked how fast the object came at me; definitely made it more challenging. Overall nice work.
Very nice. Hard, but very fun.
Button mashing FTW! Lots of fun!
Wow, just wow. Great game! Lots of fun. Button mashing for the win!
Well written, very engaging dialog. I was definitely enjoying it, but the mac app did crash on me. Other than that, nice work.
Very cool. The controls almost have a QWOP feel to them. I could never quite dial in my muscle memory, I think that's what makes the game challenging. Nice work.
Thanks for the nostalgia. Snake is always a favorite. Nice beginner game and only an _hour_? Great work. Maybe carve out a little more time for the next LD. ;)
Got into this one right away. I love the idea of big pixels and growing them! I hope you win!
I'm going to guess the controls are something like attract/repel/shoot ? I had a lot of fun quick to learn hard to master. I want to play this against other people and track my high score. Future feature requests for sure. Great work in the time frame. One of my favorites.
You really nailed a fun mechanic. I like the keyboard / mouse combo. Great mood, I got a little jumpy while playing.. (that's a good thing).
Some creepy music could have really put this over the top; but you got lots of stars from me! Nice work.
Not sure I figured out how to garden well.. but I really like the pixel art flowers! This is very similar to my game SeedLife. Great minds think alike!
Feels like the start of a fun little game; needs some more work to finish it off though. Good work, I enjoyed playing it.
@nintendoeats do you have a specific error? You are running the same machine that I used for testing.. :/
@dalbinblue I use the term seed as anything you can "plant" in the game. I may want to make the rocks "grow" at some point.
@BlennosoftGames I think better graphics would be interesting and fun in a different way; but I would have definitely failed if I tried to make them. =P
@all Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
Great game. I really got into it. What a fun mechanic. Good work!
Beautifully done. I felt like the character had just a little too much momentum. It took me a while to compensate for it.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game wins in the overall category.
Great puzzler. I agree w/ nintendoeats: I really wanted to know how many waypoints I get per level. Very addictive, nice work.
Very fun.. and HARD. Got mashed right away! 43 seconds was about my best. Fun game and I love your style of art.
Nice mechanic, and fun to play. I think the level design needs a little work though. I wasn't able to find a path out without just getting shot a bunch or dodging bullets. Nice work and very impressive for 48 hrs.
nice and addictive. lost far too much time to this game! great entry!
I really liked the art style and humor.
All the stars I can give. I really like this game, it's really hard though! Great work on mechanics, graphics, polish, the works. \o/
Cute and fun. I like the pick up and smash mechanic. Game started to stutter a little for me after playing for a while. Great entry. Was really hoping for some sort of hair attack though :/
One of my favorites so far. Cute and innovative.
+1 for boids!
Well.. can't un-see that.
Lots of stars in my rating. ;) Very fun and unique.
Not a lot of depth, but a lot of fun. Just about the time I was starting to wonder what else to do, I won. Perfect. Thanks for a fun game.
Great entry. I couldn't find the pizza targets. So, I just destroyed the city.. muwhahahahah! Thanks for the fun!
If you built this all the way out, it would be QWOP level of difficult controls, which I suspect was a big part of the planned game mechanics. The first time something blew up, it scared the crap out of me! Nice progress, just not enough for a game.
Really fun. It gets really frantic toward the end there... nice work.
5 stars of Fun! Very nice. I found myself crashing and burning much more than birds actually getting to the tree. Maybe having 3 ships to pilot and use them as multiple lives? It was pretty far off the theme, but great entry.
My favorite game so far! Nice polish!
Really fun. Don't think I blinked for like 10 minutes straight. That chopping mechanic is great and takes a lot of concentration! Great game. Theme seemed a little off..
Great art, but I wanted to crust something! I actually like the simplified tentacle controls. Nice work.
Very fun. Two things: first, more levels! (I know.. not enough time ) second, more levels! Seriously though, great little stealth game.
Dang it, you tricked me into playing an idle game.. but hey, at least I'm not the monster... a lot of depth, nice entry
One of the best entries so far.. hard to put down. The levels are really well designed and the controls feel great. Throw some audio on this and I'd buy it! 5 stars in humor for having my dead corpses cut up again by the saws ;)
Nice start. I'd like to see what you come up with post-compo with this idea.
I liked the look and feel of this game a lot. The puzzles were a little slow for my taste, but fun and interesting. Great work!
Interesting, there needs to be a way to get rid of knights without killing them (if there's such a penalty for killing them). Also, I think archers would add an interesting piece to this game. Nice work!
Worked great for me. Lots of fun. I never got the hang of killing enemies without at least dropping one HP. short, but fun game. Nice work.
Amazing. Camera controls were a little tricky, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Nice work.
I like the style of the art here and the music very nice and catchy. The controls felt nice and responsive. I think the character grows too quickly toward the end.. maybe make it an exponential curve of how many people to eat to grow once you get bigger?
Fun game, nice work.
Fun idea, definitely a lot of button mashing! After playing many rounds, I didn't feel like I could get any better though.. not sure why that is. Nice entry.
I really like the duck and hide in the bushes mechanic. Nice work.
Controls felt good and there's some good learning to get here too. I wish the difficulty scaled so it could be easier for my young kids. Great job!
Surprisingly fun. I wish there was a little more..
nice work.
Fun to play. As others have said, intro is a little too slow and I wish I knew I couldn't eat cops (maybe a dialog the first time you try that says "man, I can't eat that". I LOVE the pixel art style; nice work!
wow. beautifully done.
Wow. One of the best I've seen so far... Great art and interesting mechanic to mix in to the standard platformer. I really like dropping rocks on enemies as the flappy bat thing!
I like it! You basically wrote two games.. the detective game and the fighting.. nice!
Very fun. I like all the polish, it really makes it feel like a finished product. The difficulty scales up nicely. It's be nice to see some sort of power ups or screen clearing bombs or something. Great game!
Fun little mini-stories. Definitely enjoyed it. The style was very nostalgic. ;)
The controls feel slightly clunky, but I really enjoyed playing. The animation on the monster feels just right. Great work.
Well done puzzle game. I like the use of pixel sized sprites (see my game Pixel Monster)
Very fun. The house level was crazy hard! I was impressed by the number and depth of the levels. Nice work.
Everything felt very polished. Fun little game nice work!
Lots of clicking, but a unique play style. Nice work.
Very fun and great art. The lag of zombies catching up to you really slows down the gameplay, but overall amazing game.
Very neat. I liked the twist here.
fun to play. sound would have helped a lot. the smashing down felt perfect. nice work
Really fun to play. All the art and the cutscenes.. amazing. I love the creeper on the wall as runner up for employee of the month! Great job!
Nice solid entry. Ran great for me. It took me a while to get the controls into muscle memory. teleport-fireball-repeat is your friend. ;)
wow. nice message in a game. Love this entry!
Lots of fun, not so great for replay value though. Amazing art and the music and sounds really fit the mood of the game; nice work!
The graphics are super cute. Just need more to do.. fun toy.
You nailed the 8bit vibe and this game as a fun gameplay mechanic. I think it could be just a little more forgiving to help with the learning curve. I like the cute take on the theme, not ever monster has to be dark and evil! Very well done.
Adding some texture to the purple blocks could let me know that I'm running (hard to tell at first) Otherwise fun infinite jumper.
Beautiful game. I loved the end. So. perfect. It was definitely more interactive story than traditional game. Very nice work though.
That is the fasted dang baby I've ever seen in my life. >.<
Challenging to play, possibly too hard w/ the baby's random movement.
Amazing, difficulty scales up a little too quickly. All the juicy bits really make it feel great. Nice work.
Super fun and cute. Very unique mechanic; I like.
Loved this. It gets so hard. Sometimes I click the insults just for fun. =P Nice entry.
I really like this. By far the best reverse ski-free entry.
played this... a lot! nice entry!
Eating bananas never felt so good!
Absolutely adorable and fun. I wish I had a way to track which planets I've been to or have some sort of mini-map to keep track of where I am in the universe. Great look and feel; good job.
Overall great entry. It felt a little hard to aim, but it felt great to dismember those dang heroes stealing my lootz!
I like the art style and game play.. it's pretty difficult. Nice work.
A lot of fun, and hard to get good at. Seems like a great game. Lots of stars in this rating.. ;)
Tricky at first, very nice. I very much enjoyed this... maybe add more hiding spots or challenges to extend the game and/or make him move a little faster. Nice work.
I really liked the variety of gameplay here. I think the frog was my favorite, timing up his jump was quite the challenge. highscore: 217. Nice entry.
You should win; this entry is amazing. Great graphics, gameplay, audio, I _love_ the magic missiles ;)
Pretty amazing really. Nice feel from the controls and interesting fighting mechanics. Great work.
Fun little game. I found myself just focusing on avoidance and not collecting coins. Maybe every 30 coins could give you an extra life (Mario style). On my first run, I still hadn't realized that the rocks were for show. Somehow make those look less like a real obstacle. I also think a little left/right movement would help too. Nice entry, fun take on the theme.
Looks and plays nice. It was really hard for me! Lots of content and a cool play mechanic. Nice job in 48 hours.
Really nicely done. The controls were a little tricky. I didn't feel like I had control over when a zombie or a wolfman would get to a particular place later on the map. (unless I missed something, which is _totally_ possible) Nice work though, beautiful art and animations!
Really neat game and mechanic, but I just couldn't really get into it. Lots of polish and hard work; overall great entry that I just couldn't quite find the fun in.
Had lots of fun just playing against the AI. The art is amazing for the timeframe.. nice work!
Goblin herder. lolz. Nice work on making a game FRP style. Fun to play with a unique mechanic.
Well designed and fun game. It took some getting used to, but I could definitely improve over a reasonable amount of time. Love the bro-ness!
The writing was intriguing and the drawings were great. I really got caught up in the characters. Well done.
Definitely a shot for the humor award. I loved the sound/music too. Nice work.
ALL THE STARS!! Loved this. I played through the whole game and really enjoyed the humor and the feel. It was slightly too easy, however I did die on the last level, after winning the game an arrow hit me. =P Neat little bug having the bard tell me that I was undefeated over a "Game Over" background. :D Amazing entry, be very proud of this!
Beautiful game. I want more. So. Short. Nice twist at the end; I really felt bad pumping arrow after arrow into the bear.
Loved this. So much fun. Got repetitive after a while and I just let the monster starve to see what would happen. =P Great Job!
Wow. Very fun and addictive. Started to bog down and get slow after 10 minutes or so, had to stop playing. Nice work.
Looks like a good start, just needs some polish. It is pretty rewarding to scare off those boats!
I literally LOL'd at work and had to show this to a coworker... great job (especially the cut scenes!)
Interesting take on the theme. ;)
Fun mechanic, can't just mash buttons. Fun game, nice work.
ALL THE STARS!!! I love this idea, so fun and well executed.
Beautifully done. The controls do feel sluggish (but maybe that's the point?) Nice entry.
Neat little mechanic / puzzles. Great entry.
This had been the hardest game for me to stop playing so far! I'll be back tomorrow to play some more. Nice work.
Very nice. I really like flipping cars in this game. It took me a while to discover that I could duck. I like how the game taught me that via a tank that wasn't passable until I learned that skill. It felt right and not frustrating.
Cool art style and sound and fun to play; nice work.
Neat starting point; keep at it. Sounds like a fun game concept and I love the art style!
Pretty amazing game. Fun mechanic, but it did get pretty repetitive rather quickly. I liked the curvy canon balls though! Nice work.
I too had fairies that were off screen... :/ I _really_ wanted to kill them all. I like the juxtaposition of cute fairies and music and the blood splats!
This is a neat idea. I enjoyed playing but the overall depth and the ability to play for more than two minutes wasn't really there. I like the graphic style too. Keep up the nice work.
Really, really fun. This was a hard game to put down. Also, I now hate dolphins! I really liked the graphical touch of the terrain, ports, campers, etc. great work.
I'm very impressed with the amount of content in 48 hours. Nice work!
In no other game have I been able to fight with boxes of puppies and kittens. You win. :D
I love the trip animation over the rock. Fun game, nice work.
Had fun with this; even made the high-scores with my terrible attempts. I think the jumping mechanic needs a little tweaking, but I like the comparison thing. I wonder if making the size of the characters change would make it more intuitive. Nice entry.
Almost a perfect score from me. Lots of fun and well polished. Yes please.
Wow. Great interactive story telling.
Simple but fun. It reminds me of something like guitar hero where the difficulty spikes when you have to start moving your hand. Scaling up to 5 would help with the learning curve. I really like that the order changes so I can't just build muscle memory. I found the wrong fingers moving all the time... felt very QWOP. Nice work!
@NathanFlurry The executable is part of the Ruby packaging mechanism called Ocra.
WINDOWS BUILD HAS BEEN FIXED!
Great through back the NES days. I was amazed at the amount of quality content you were able to get in this game in such a short amount of time! Great work! (also, loved scaring chickens!)
Neat little game. Lots of polish and the audio was great.
I really liked this. It definitely made things hectic trying to balance all the needs... curse those rocks!!
very fun. maybe speed up movement just a touch. nice work!
wow. So. much. content. I had a hard time with the timing, but for the most part was amazing! Great work.
Love the mechanic and the humor. Great rating.
I like the graphics and the feel for the game. The distance via light mechanic is pretty awesome. I got to the point where I wanted a challenge, so I started going as far as I could to tempt death... then died. :( Great art, good start, but the game needs a little more challenge.
Amazing fun with high speed tentacle killing!
Really fun. I like the way fire spreads. This game is really hard! Nice work.
Nice to see another Gosu submission! I really liked the puzzle aspect of the game. I completed all the text (I think) but couldn't figure out how to escape. Very cool game!
I like the style of this game, but it's a little too glitchy. I'm still not sure what space was supposed to do. Pretty impressive for learning a new genre and engine. Needs some work, but there's a good core here.
Had fun with this. It's pretty hard, but not _too_ hard. Keep up the good work.
