Super cute toy, and I just love your theme interpretation. Nice work, very polished !
Nothing really new about the game, but it's a fun arena shooter nonetheless ! The gameplay is flawless and the bouncy tune is minimalist yet enjoyable.
The rocket/grenade launcher is a bit overpowered :]
So simple yet I HAD to finish it, nice work ! (Replays, as interesting as they can be, were more annoying than fun)
Controls are spot-on, the level design is generally well-thought, the game is fun overall. I like it.
I won (37 treasures). Need more events and canon balls ! Simple but fun game :)
That 80's vibe ! Nothing new, but really cool game. Graphics are easy to read (can be hard to get right with wireframe game but you nailed it) and I just love how the buzzing sound react to the ship movements ! It just needs some music :)
I had a blast with this game ! Cool concept, nice sound effects, very polished gameplay. Wasn't too fond of the graphic style but it works fine. Overall this is one of the best games I played as of now, even though it's very easy for a puzzle game (most of the levels felt "random").
Very interesting control scheme. Simple to understand, hard to master. Couldn't get past 10k.
Cute character, really cool aesthetics. I like that there's no HP, you just have to stay on screen, it makes the game design simpler (which fits the theme) !
Nice game and interesting concept.
A few things you need to fix IMO : the pulse sound effect is making my ears bleed, and the pulse should be more limited (30 pulses for the first level is way too much, I would slow the effect down a bit, make it "wider" and give way less pulses to the player). It would be nice to send a pulse automatically when you switch level too.
I keep wishing there was more to this lovely game :)
Ahah loved this game ! The jump is a bit weird sometimes, but the game's really fun, nice work !
Cool voice over, you clearly put a lot of work into this. The game is fine too (amazing atmosphere), but the control scheme doesn't work well for me. Moving with arrows in an isometric world is disorienting for my brain :)
Freaking good as soon as you get it (took me some time).
Cute game ! The phone part was quite smart :]
I wasn't expecting this. Nice and smart mechanics ! The surviving aspect is very well done, it's all about making choices and sacrifices to live a little bit longer.
More "toy" than "game", but nice nonetheless. I've always found tone matrices zen and relaxing, yours is no exception.
Very original and intriguing game. Best played with headphones, obviously.
Really interesting game. Simple but concise storytelling.
There was a few typos though, and I got this error at launch :
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at RECOVER_Game1_fla::MainTimeline/Main()[RECOVER_Game1_fla.MainTimeline::frame2:24]
(Rating comment, see the post above. Btw, still get the error at launch)
Brilliant. The idea is very simple but works so well ! Nice work on the aesthetics too, you made big blocky pixels look nice. (the Next Level button could be more obvious, took me some time to understand why the game wasn't switching to next level after finishing the first one)
It would make a nice multiplayer game ! The idea is cool and the execution is almost flawless. Not too fond of the sound effects though.
Fun game, the color switching mechanics made it more interesting. I really like how smooth the gameplay is. It just feels right. Also, cool soundtrack !
I'm really digging the art style on this one. Lovely visuals ! The gameplay is simple but well done. Very polished game overall, great work !
Cool little arena shooter. I really like how enemies spawn traps on death... But the game is WAY to easy. I played for a few minutes and all I did was staying in the center and shooting in the four directions as soon as doors would open. Make it harder and it'll be way more fun !
Lovely exploration game. Great mood and sound design. The character animation was also topnotch !
Interesting take on a classic gameplay mechanic (eat smaller ones to get bigger, avoid bigger ones, dominate).
Just wow.
I'm a sucker for TD games, this one is no exception ! Pretty well done except the balance seems off. I played until wave 52 and quit because I was crushing the enemy easily. I guess that's to be expected because there's only one tower and one enemy type.
Cool artsy experiment. Now I know what my name *looks* like !
Hard, but not frustrating. I died because of me, not because of the game, so it's "good" difficulty. Controls are spot-on and this whole hunger/stamina balance makes the game very interesting to play. Good work !
Thanks guys !
Just did an update, the controls should now be way more responsive, sorry about that !
Hadyn: You can retry with "R" ;)
Nop, in the "Challenges" mode, lower score is better (an absolutely perfect run would be a score of 0). I should have made this more clear I guess :)
Thanks so much for the warm comments guys, it means a lot ! <3
Maple: actually, in challenge mode, the score is linked to how close you are to the center of the line (+ death) ! The lower, the better (it's basically "distance from center in pixels * 10" on every turn). A perfect run without death would give a perfect score, 0. Good luck with that :]
Hard but fun. Nice music too.
Cute graphics, movements feel a bit sluggish but nothing too serious.
I like the base idea of killing monster and mixing colors to unlock parts of the level, but IMO the level design isn't very inspired. It feels like a missed opportunity for something great. Still, nice work !
Interesting concept, but it took me some time to understand what I was supposed to do. Nice music and psychedelic visuals !
Fun sword control, cool idea ! Graphics & sounds are great too. I'm too fond of the player physics though, a bit sluggish.
Ahahah this is surprisingly fun :D
Not much to say, fun concept, nice execution. Good work !
Very polished, nice idea, fits the theme perfectly. Fun game overall !
I really like the idea of using rhythm to move the player. The fact that the game uses the same regular beat timing from start to finish makes it too easy and predictable, thus not always interesting. It also desperately needs a bouncy music track !
Still, I really liked the concept and there's a definite potential. It just needs to be exploited properly :)
Simple but fun. The normal difficulty was very easy (almost boring) but the impossible one was... well, impossible. You need something in between :]
Congrats on your first LD ! Nice game, cool music and nice aesthetics :)
Wow. Just wow. Intense game :D
So addicting ! Really fun game and the soundtrack is awesome.
Simply brilliant. I'm not too much into interactive fictions, twine games and all, but wow.
Really interesting take on the Tetris concept, very fun to play actually ! And it's not often you hear a voice-over in a flash game... :)
I had a nice experience with this artsy game. Exploring felt good, even though sometimes it's hard to read the screen (colors & shadow effects don't always work great together).
Really love the idea of a "lowscore" (in contrast to a "highscore"). The execution is clean and the game gets hectic pretty quickly (which is a good thing for a shmup IMO). Great title btw, it caught my eye instantly in the game list.
As the intro says, the best strategy seems to be killing the big guys as soon as they appear and not bother with the little ones (they'll agglomerate and form a group easy to avoid). Got 650K on my first try, 580k on my second try.
You should add a low-radius/low-speed magnet effect on coins, could be fun have to run away from coins trying to get to you :)
Impressive aesthetics ! The controls could use some fine tuning (haven't tried the post-compo version yet) and some checkpoints were a bit too far apart, but other than that really good game !
Wait, what ? Is that a penis gun ? Made me laugh.
The concept (moving weapons as you go - reversed minimalism) is really good, the graphics are nice, but the game is somewhat ruined by bad controls and weird movement physics. That's a bit sad because there's good potential here.
So beautiful ! Playing this fullscreen on a big screen made me feel like I was back in 1990 !
14 year old ? You're off to a good start, keep it up ! (the intro was way too long though)
Cool concept. However the sound was a little harsh...
Really cool game. Hard to control at first, but once you get it it's quite fun. Graphics & sounds are very good as well. Nice work !
Weird but strangely fascinating. And props for your first game !
Zen, peaceful game. Simple but effective.
Hard game, but interesting concept. Cool music too.
Took me a few tries to get a good grasp of the controls. The game gets better and betters every time I play it ! Nice work !
I really like the charging mechanism and the sound effects are great (and quite funny for some of them).
My main grip with the game comes from aiming left & right... Because the fireball starts from the upper staff extremity, it's really hard (and sometimes impossible) to aim at monster walking toward the base of your character.
So simple, but the humor made it great :D I like it !
The game took a bit too much time to start for my taste but I'm glad I waited ! Very cool concept & smart level design. Great game :]
It reminded me of Captain Forever. Fun.
Got a Chip's Challenge feel from this game. So many memories :D Nice work.
Not quite sure about how it fits the theme exactly apart from the graphic style, but the game is fun and looks great. Quite impressive for 2 days of work.
Really smart game, well done.
Easy but epic :] I really love the way you managed to make a combo system with 2 keys and... 3 pixels :D
The footstep sound is annoying though, I had to mute because of it.
Simple but nice game. Played the HTML5 version because I don't own an Android phone but the game was a bit choppy (Chrome + descent gamer computer). The control inertia felt a bit weird on PC, I guess it works better on touchscreen.
Brilliant idea. It gets hard pretty quickly but it's fun !
Very interesting and inspiring game mechanics here. Too easy though, a harder version would make more sense (with less "bricks" to break, so you have to be quick - it's a level design issue). Waaaaay too many particles too, but that's fine :D
Beautiful game, cool idea. The pulse effect was a bit hard to read (maybe too fast ?) and some collisions were a bit off, but good work !
Pew pew pew !
Hectic action and a shitload of bullets & particles, what else do we need ? Fun game, I'd have loved to hear some fast-paced soundtrack and low-volume sound effects though.
It's off to a good start. It's actually quite good for someone without any programming skills.
Hard to rate this one. On one end, the graphics are really nice (I love how the shadows move), the audio is nice and I got the feeling I was part of "something big". On the other end, that feeling never got fulfilled. I did find some "words" but couldn't figure out what they meant. I may have missed something...
It fits the theme for sure ! Nice visuals and great sound work. The gameplay itself is fine but the game is really hard (after the 4th note you basically have to rotate the cube like crazy and the game lose its fun). A different color code on each face would help I think.
Anyway, nice work !
Really cool toy, quite unusual but refreshing. A bit like a zen garden... with pixels instead of sand.
Lovely graphics (as usual), interesting gameplay.
Lovely game, controlling the fishing rod felt great. It's a shame the walking sound effect breaks the immersion. Other than that, great work.
Beautiful art, stunning atmosphere. Too short but it's LD so... I'd love to see a longer game based on this universe. The game doesn't show a lot but it suggests so much more !
Very clever puzzle concept, I liked it.
Minimal storytelling at its best. Depressing game, but seriously, great work, I wasn't expecting this.
Nice climbing game. First time I played I got a weird bug : I jumped against the right wall and the character started going up like a rocket indefinitely (with the score going up very fast as well).
Brilliant game, really loved it ! The mood, the ambiance track, the way the character moves, the gun control... Everything.
My favorite game so far. Simple concept, perfect execution and very well-polished. Simply brilliant.
Lovely ! The game wouldn't be as good without the catchy tune ! Great work, perfect fit for the theme.
I really like the idea, it's very unique. I wasn't sure what to do on my first play but I figured it out eventually. Good game, nice sound work.
Fun game, although I'm not sure how it fits the theme. The controls could need some work, the jump isn't very precise. The flying part feels great though.
Impressive, and a good display of what CraftStudio can produce in such a short time frame.
Interesting, it's a bot war ! I like the idea, but the game needs some polishing.
Nice take on the infinite cave game. Perfect controls. The first level felt a bit boring, kind of useless, but it gets better from level 2.
Cool endless runner. Good aesthetics and audio work. I killed myself after a while (after what seems to be the end) because the game wasn't getting any faster nor difficult.
My main grip is about the first part (before ~3200m). As nice as the graphics are, it's really hard to see the main character. Starting from the second part the character/background contrast is better and makes the game much more readable & enjoyable.
Simple concept but very effective, and quite fun in two players mode !
Cute visuals, the game reminds me of Don't Starve. I'm still not sure about how it fits the theme exactly, but being naked and catching fishes by throwing rocks and full size pines into the water ? Hell yes !
This is minimalism, for sure. Simple but addictive.
