LD23 — Tiny World

6 Degrees of Sabotage by dukope 2012-05-13T20:28:00

Really great. Had seen this game around but only just played it - nice idea, very enjoyable and looks great too.

Tiny Visitor by 01010111 2012-04-23T20:36:00

Very nicely presented simple platformer with lots of content and well balanced.

Fracuum by TylerGlaiel 2012-04-26T07:58:00

Really great concept, a nice feeling of escalation too. One of my favourites so far.

Predicament by orangepascal 2012-04-26T13:53:00

Really enjoyed this one. Looks great and plays great too. Brilliant work.

Dr. Nano - tiny surgeon by McFunkypants 2012-04-23T19:15:00

Loads of lovely particle effects and runs super smoothly. Good fun too!

Housefly by dacap 2012-04-24T09:28:00

Really liked the art style, funny, simple controls, and not too long. Great stuff!

Angle Isle by Rusty Moyher 2012-04-25T19:16:00

This is one of my favorites so far. Really nice simple concept, gently balanced difficulty curve, cute graphics and nicely polished.

Gravity Force 3 by refreshgames 2012-04-24T21:06:00

Some nice polish, and a simple concept that was fun to play.

Tiny Parallel Worlds by MadcoreTom 2012-04-24T12:26:00

Great little game! Nice concept, short but sweet.

Love Connection by Jon Reid 2013-04-29T19:50:00

Nice game! Really well presented, well done.

Rokhopr by David Durham 2013-04-29T15:01:00

Thanks for all the feedback so far. Maybe I should have zoomed the view back a bit so you can see more at once?

Rokhopr by David Durham 2013-04-29T19:06:00

Yes, once the contest is over I'll 'finish' the game properly, and include some kind of high score system.

Centroid by daniel 2013-04-29T11:37:00

Clever idea. I found I was methodically judging the center in the early levels, but when the shapes became more random I just guessed mostly. Very good though.

Freedom by orangepascal 2013-04-29T11:52:00

Ha, I figured it out eventually. Really great job with the presentation and a nice little game play gimmick. Well done.

Coin Collector by anbreizh 2013-04-29T12:19:00

This is actually one of my favorites so far. Really addictive and genuinely fun. Feels authentically retro. Great work!

Nine Tails by dualtagh 2013-04-29T19:59:00

I really like 'self cooperation' games like this, and this one is pretty nicely done. There is something darkly brilliant about jumping up onto a pile of dead cats. Good job!

MiniCave by aare 2013-05-01T19:22:00

I like the idea of the different weapons on each side, but I found the controls a bit tricky. The graphics are really nice, well done.

(Follow the) Line by Chman 2013-04-29T20:22:00

Brilliantly addictive and lovely clean visual style. Having the two game modes was a really clever idea too. One of my favorites so far, well done!

The Forgetful Little Square by Idovoodoo 2013-04-29T20:12:00

Very clever, I really enjoyed this one.

MOTHBOTS by terrivellmann 2013-04-29T13:24:00

Really good! One of my favorites in terms of style and mood, and a really nice idea. Great job.

Coder by RealyUniqueName 2013-04-29T11:44:00

Good fun. I agree with the previous comment about the colours being a little misleading. But overall I enjoyed it.

Mondrian's Frogger by doobdargent 2013-04-29T12:53:00

This was good fun and a nice idea.

the pretentious apple by Bluebutton 2013-04-29T20:05:00

Really well presented take on a simple idea. I did find it a bit tricky to control initially, but still enjoyable.

Fight by dreemernj 2013-04-30T12:58:00

Actually pretty nice start, and it matches the theme well. Would like to see a more polished version.

Whatever Game by wademcgillis 2013-04-30T14:19:00

Two nice game mechanics in one. Was a fun way to explore the Mondrian style world.

Dream Fishing by Sophie Houlden 2013-05-01T14:29:00

Sets a great mood, and all the interactions are simple but really satisfying - the audio adds a lot here. A really nice way to spend some time.

Winter's Bane by Winterblood 2013-04-29T12:23:00

I like it. It reminds of elements of Okami a little. What you've got is good, but I'd love to see a more complete version post compo. Well done.

Please Ignore The Dancing Llama by Zed 2013-04-30T14:11:00

Very enjoyable and felt like a complete experience. Love the idea of quickly swapping between equally twitchy game modes, and it was just the right length (you didn't over sell it). Good job!

hunter hungry by Jonathan Whiting 2013-05-02T12:23:00

Great game with a fantastic atmosphere as well as some really fun game mechanics. Certainly one of the best I've played this Ludum Dare.

Shoot (AAA_FPS_GOTY) by quill18 2013-05-01T19:44:00

Really impressive work! I thought the 'skycam' overview during respawn was a really nice touch, and the gameplay was solid.

The Road by GeorgeBroussard 2013-05-01T13:49:00

Good fun! Simple game mechanic and nice ambient music.

LD36 — Ancient Technology

Steaming by David Durham 2016-08-31T14:09:00

Thanks for all the great comments. I'm definitely aiming to have player collisions in my 'post jam' version of the game.

I'm glad people are trying it on tablet. I was aiming for a 'cosy' player vs player experience, but the touch controls do need some work.

Having pickups like water and coal to keep your fuel topped is also on my to do list - I just ran out of time during the jam. The tracks are super simple to make too, so I'll hopefully have a few more of those too.

Thanks again.
