wow that's one tiny screen ;) doesn't work perfect on OSX (images don't render correctly mixing top and bottom of every character) but that has some retro charm to it :p
the looks reminds me of old Spectrum games.. couldn't really get to grips with the responsiveness of the controls
missing some gameplay elements, but I think it's a great start of something interesting. It's unique, and not many games can claim that ;)
I like how some of the instructions only came after losing a couple of lives first :)
removed the background music, not sure if WolframTones allows it under their ToS.
that's called cheating!! but I figured some would do so I named things pretty clearly in the source ;)

Not sure why you added the mouse click to dig, could have just done that with a key (makes it easier to play I think). Love that the game starts with an intro animation, simple but adds a lot :)
Found it hard to see the water on my screen, bit to dark I guess, so took me some time to figure out how to actually grow without running out of water ;) but very enjoyable and peaceful game

@mrexcessive: jump on the head of the creatures that run around on the floor ;)
The bosses repeat, but once the repeat cycle starts they become tougher and require more attacks to kill. So it's an "endless-monster-stomper with an ever increasing difficulty" sorta game :p
controls need a bit of tweaking I think to make it less frustrating, but I do like the game element of switching evil/normal
could have done with a bit more challenge, but it's not bad ! kept climbing and climbing :)

we saved the world!! okay, I cheated and pressed P to skip to the ending :) Found it a bit tedious to play, not a lot happens except the engine overheating if you aren't careful. Feels like a great start of a game.

Some bugs with movement (getting stuck for no apparent reason). But overall a nice idea. Hint: maybe double the resolution of the graphics to make the game area bigger and easier on the eyes ?
