LD23 — Tiny World

ToastBiome by tinyworlds 2012-04-28T17:09:00

Fits the theme nicely, good idea. Controls are getting stuck a lot though. Nice audio and graphics.

Cyberoid by Pedro de Quadros 2012-05-05T11:58:00

Loved the bass of the music got me really pumped up :). Controls are a little tricky. But overall real nice game.

AquaWars by ElzingaT 2012-05-09T05:12:00

Nice relaxing game. Played for a while but it doesn't seem to speed up so you can't lose. Really nice and polished graphics.

Block Bros by HeuGamer 2012-04-27T03:23:00

Nice little game. Progresses a little slow and gets repetitive after a while. Maybe add some more game play mechanics.

Skully's Microscopic World by Skully 2012-04-24T01:47:00

Loved Phil's voice. Shazam! (btw. shazam is defined by urbandictionary as "Exclamatory phrase used when striking an unsuspecting victim in the genitalia with a foreign apparatus such as a back scratcher or a crow bar." :D)

As you can't seem to win it it would be cool if there was a score so you could at least battle for the highest one.

Skully's Microscopic World by Skully 2012-04-24T01:48:00

Just read some of the other comments and apparently you can win and I am just too dumb. Challenge accepted!

OSC: Dawn by crhallberg 2012-05-09T05:29:00

Interesting concept. Just seems very short. Played through in like 30 sec or is there supposed to be more things happening after parking in the zone.

Tiny World Peace by jwolf 2012-04-28T01:20:00

Nice concept but there are some balancing issues. Things are moving so fast that it is pretty much impossible to deflect stuff.

Pocket Strife by josefnpat 2012-04-24T01:39:00

Really great concept and in a good shape for a 48h dev time. Would like to see a more expanded version of it. Real tough AI making it really challenging.

Escape this Tiny World Alone by StarDynamic 2012-05-10T01:15:00

I played the version under Linux and you have some issues with case-sensitive resource names. I had to rename Propane.png to propane.png and Death.mp3 to death.mp3 to get it working correctly. Be sure to check that more carefully next time.

Otherwise nice little game. Enjoyed playing it.

Unusable Man and the Orbs of Exponential Growth by samwoakley 2012-05-05T11:39:00

Nice game concept! Really enjoyed playing it. Had to turn off the music after 1 min though as it was driving me crazy...

Grow! by Rabbits... 2012-04-23T04:30:00

I like the basic idea behind it and the innovative control scheme. Definitely tricky if you have a lack of hand-eye coordination like me :). Liked the background music a lot as well.

Unfortunately it feels a little unfinished right now (no score, end of game, etc.).

NANO M.D. by anulith 2012-04-25T01:33:00

Nice little shoot-em up with good controls. Gets really hard once the worm like bacterias show up.

Tiny World - Tiny Bits by notepid 2012-05-05T07:29:00

Nice little innovative platformer. The controls and collision detection are a little lacking but I really like the basic concept of the zombie collecting his body parts. The zombie sounds were also really cool

Tiny Resolution by ishav 2012-05-05T11:42:00

Nice little platformer. Could use some more levels. I liked the retro graphics style of it.

Tondie and Zupe by Cosmologicon 2012-04-25T02:14:00

Awwesome game with a great control scheme. Got me hooked from the beinning and I played through the complete game. Great job!

Maru by RandomOutput 2012-04-23T04:23:00

Took me a while to figure out how direction is determined by the position of the cloud. But it is great now that I got that down.

I really like the look and feel of the game. Looks very coherent and polished.

The Tiny World of Pixels by Wampus 2012-05-09T01:57:00

The pixelverse is a great idea. It's a pity that you ran out of time and had to rush the implementation of individual levels. Still enjoyed playing it.

Jack Primus and the Adventure of Tiny Things by Wizered67 2012-05-08T05:11:00

Solid entry for the first time. I was a bit disappointed of the gameplay after the lengthy intro. Maybe focus on gameplay and a complete experience (sounds, fx, etc.) more next time.

Bacterial World by mneubrand 2012-04-23T13:18:00

@Darkhog and @guzzungo: I had some performance issues when i tested with FF 11.0 even tough I have an i7 processor. The collision detection seems to be causing the troubles. I probably should have put a comment saying "works best in Chrome" instead of "Chrome only"

Bacterial World by mneubrand 2012-04-23T15:39:00

Thanks for all the reviews and comments so far. I really had fun creating it and seeing that some people enjoy playing it is awesome! Definitely encouraging me to continue making games.

Bacterial World by mneubrand 2012-04-24T15:28:00

@Raptor85: Hit detection and sound are buggy in FF. getImageData() seems to cause troubles and HTML5 audio seems to suck in general (no browser supports looping without a sh*** delay at restart as of now). I will use flash for audio until browser vendors start fixing this.

For collision detection I calculate overlap of the bounding boxes of 2 sprites and then check pixel values of both sprites in that overlap. If two pixels at the same point have alpha > 0 => collision. This works perfectly fine in Chrome but not in FF.

When I do the collision detection FF sometimes returns undefined for pixel values I check and my condition gets undefined==undefined and you get a ghost collision. Easy fix but I didn't test on FF for the compo so I noticed only after it. Hence the "Google Chrome/Chromium only".

As for getImageData() speed FF seems to have troubles: http://www.mikethetike.com/2011/05/html5-canvas-using-and-optimizing-context-getimagedata/

Bacterial World by mneubrand 2012-04-28T18:43:00

@quixotic-project, @volando, @basspenguin: Unfortunately I didn't get around to implement catching the E-coli and create multiple levels with more diversified game play :(

Gonna try to go for it at the next LD.

Bacterial World by mneubrand 2012-04-30T16:01:00

@Rectifier: They aren't fixed-time but they are unfortunately not very much in sync with the speed-up of the game so it gets more frustrating the more it speeds up.

Spaceways by roundcrisis 2012-04-30T00:58:00

Really polished nice game. Might need a tutorial but it's awesome otherwise. One of the best LD's for sure.

Laser Coin Planets by mortehu 2012-04-27T02:55:00

Fun little game. A proper HUD with health, etc. would be nice. Enjoyed playing it.

Crash Effect by koredozo 2012-04-24T04:26:00

Nice little space game. Love the Mass Effect parody (still can't get over the part 3 ending...). Really hard to control though. Would be cool if you could see in which direction your thruster fires at the moment.

Lost Oxide by SidetrackGames 2012-04-24T05:59:00

Nice game. Graphically one of the best LDs I have seen so far. Looks very similar to the screenshot of Cliffrunner from your page at http://sidetrackgames.wordpress.com/games/

Nasty Bubbly - 72 Hour JAM Entry by ApiO 2012-05-07T16:34:00

Nice, fun game. It feels very polished and finished. Really enjoyed playing it.

World runner by Gunmonkey 2012-04-30T16:06:00

Nice little runner game. But holy smoke the guy is fast! I was thinking of editing the JS to slow it down :)

My Little Dungeon by thegreystudios 2012-04-27T02:45:00

Great game! Gets a bit repetitive after some time but the concept is awesome. I really enjoyed playing it.

Spaceships: Origins by liger13 2012-04-27T03:46:00

Awesome little space shooter! Loved the background music.

Honey Heist by CappaGames 2012-05-05T07:45:00

Nice game concept! Only made it to Level 5. Couldn'd make it to the labyrinth anymore. Controls could use some fine tuning but otherwise great game.

Only Your Home by Law 2012-04-25T01:49:00

Nice little text adventure. Haven't played one of those in ages. Time to dig out zork again :)

muniverse by namuol 2012-04-27T02:26:00

Very complex game mechanics for a 48h game. I am impressed. Controls are a little frustrating from time to time. Watching the repo to see what's coming

Serendipity with Cubes by halogenica 2012-05-09T05:18:00

Needed a while to figure out how to connect the cubes. After that it was still very hard though. Very tricky to foresee the impact of a move.

GutsyBot vs the Universe by pawlmurray 2012-04-29T23:35:00

Like the little defense game. I feel like it needs analogue controls tough. The way it is setup it gets really tricky to aim at incoming guys from a distance.

Under the Glass by dxdydz 2012-04-24T01:24:00

I liked it, very relaxing game and nice background music. The fact that you're not really knowing which direction you're exactly headed needs some getting used to but makes it more interesting and challenging in the long run.

I agree with Beanalby that the cell-thingies (baddie?) on the edge get frustrating. Would be cool if there could be some sort of indicator on the edge that a cell will spawn at a point soon.

Twice Upon A Time by DainVadda 2012-04-30T00:25:00

Love the art style and time travel idea. Couldn't figure out what to do after I recharged the drill and fixed the panel in the future.

Tiny World Civiliaztions by Square Particle 2012-04-28T01:51:00

Good overall idea. After setting up some trades/wars though the game feels more like a computer model simulation than a game. I like though that you went with a strategy game. I think those are very hard to get done within such a short time.

Pico Planets by brianshaler 2012-04-23T04:17:00

Really liked the idea. Would love to see an expanded version of that with more levels and sound.

It can be hard to keep orientation sometimes I think some sort of compass always pointing north or something would be great. Another cool feature would be to have a reset level key for guys like me who end up in the middle of nowhere routinely and have to wait til the oxygen runs out :)

Predicament by orangepascal 2012-04-27T02:51:00

Awesome little puzzler. Really like the artwork.

Tiny Kitty Harem Hero by domrein 2012-05-06T23:08:00

Cool little game. Loved the animation when the black cat gets hit. Could need some sort of score keeping.

I also feel quite dizzy now after defending kittens for a while. Too many rockets flying around in circles :)

Watercolour by Super Soul 2012-05-08T05:22:00

Really enjoyed playing it. Controls, art style, animations and music all seem to be very polished and complete. Amazing work for a 48h game. I felt lost though and didn't really get the purpose of the game.

Earth Is Dying! by Attrition 2012-04-27T03:10:00

Nice concept. Would love to see that expanded. It's hard to keep track of all the planets there should be some kind of global overview.

tiny hostile world by Akunate 2012-05-05T07:22:00

Agree with the previous reviewers. A little of that extra polish could make it a really addicting game.

Finding Yourself by Maple 2012-05-05T12:05:00

I suck at platformers so it was way too hard for me. Gameplay feels very smooth and complete thanks to double jump and dash.

AdventuresInTinyWorld by billknye 2012-05-05T07:16:00

Nice little point-to-point platformer. Controls are pretty hard to get used to.

Cracked by TimBeaudet 2012-05-10T21:40:00

Great concept. Really enjoyed the animations. Though the first levels seem trivial it gets really challenging later on.

Nook by PoV 2012-04-24T05:35:00

Great game with amazing level of polish!

Not sure if Emscripten is feasible for HTML5 game development though. >15k LOC seems pretty heavy for a game like this. Runs really slow on Chrome 18 on an i7.

Maybe Mozilla can fix those performance issues but I would bet on wide spread availability of Google's Native Client before that. NaCl at least seems to be lightyears ahead in performance

Chisana Saga by Neonlare 2012-04-30T00:30:00

Nice complete RPG. Amazing that you pulled that off in 48h. Reminds me off the old Zelda's or FF's.

Big Space Tiny Man by invaderJim 2012-04-24T04:21:00

Cool idea. A pity that you didn't get around to finish it. The animations of the little dudes are awesome.

Dr. Nano - tiny surgeon by McFunkypants 2012-04-24T04:50:00

Nice complete shoot'em up. Sounds feel very coherent. Game runs smooth and and fast for me. Reminds me of the good old "Metal Slug" days :)

Gonna use Dr. Nano for some practice and then dig out some of those again.

Flatlands by johannhat 2012-05-09T05:24:00

Interesting game concept. All starting tiles (they're always all of the same type for me) and the win condition seem to be hardcoded so it gets repetitive. I would like to play an expanded more polished version of it.

This Town (ABEFTTOU) by ThatSnail 2012-04-24T02:09:00

Cool concept. Really tough game tough. I tried at least 20 times and couldn't shoot the damn other guy once. I really like the hand-drawn graphical style of it too.

Cube World by FireSlash 2012-04-24T02:22:00

Cool game play concept. I think this could be a great game on a smartphone if you rotate the world based on the device orientation. Reminds me a lot on www.andyetitmoves.net/

Bright Worlds by johnfn 2012-04-24T04:11:00

Cool little platformer. Nice idea with the lighting scenario. Game seems a little laggy on Windows 7 64-bit even though I tested on an i7 and none of the cores are over 50% utilizations. Can't seem to get the BG music out of my head now either :)

so small by davidpeter 2012-05-06T23:28:00

Fun little point and click adventure. Creeped me a bit out from time to time but I enjoyed playing through it. GQ definitely needs some therapy...

Lauch a rocket by volando 2012-05-06T23:54:00

Managed to get it in the air and then floated through some screens with description but didn't really get what to do from there on.

NaMa Tek by vrld 2012-05-05T11:53:00

Amazingly complex and polished game for 48h. Tricky to get started with but it really got me hooked.

Sword of Altaria by shard123 2012-04-24T02:30:00

Nice game. Reminds me of some old school games like Ultima.

These are your Friends by Farfin 2012-04-24T04:35:00

Nice animation of the lady (love the subtle wrist movement when she pinches). Really hard to survive if you don't just pick the boat up in the beginning which seems to stop the red guys from disembarking.

Wulcan by leafo 2012-04-24T03:36:00

Great game! Love the background music. Mind me asking what tool you used for it? Difficulty levels would be nice though as it gets real hard after reaching ~1000. Really enjoyed playing it

Mini-Worlds and Monocles by Zed 2012-05-06T23:41:00

Awesome platformer! Loved the artstyle and the combination of the recorded sound effects and background music. Really enjoyed playing through it. Great job.

Primordial Smackdown: Bacteria with Badditude by Vilborg 2012-04-29T23:49:00

Takes a while to master the controls but is fun once you got it figured out. Once the first boss thingie shows up (screenshot 2) it pushes me off the screen regularly tough which gets pretty annoying

Tiny World Cardgame by SusanTheCat 2012-04-28T02:06:00

Very polished and nice UI and innovative game play. Very complex for a LD game. Really enjoyed it.

Dreamworld by JoeCool17 2012-04-28T17:02:00

I like the concept and some of the artwork. It's a pity that it's in a bit of an unfinished state.

LittlePlanetBigRocket by daredevildave 2012-04-27T03:01:00

Nice concept for a puzzler. The red guys make it a bit frustrating though.

Out for arrest by Kyatric 2012-05-09T01:50:00

Needed to fail once and see the tip with the red dots before actually figuring this out. Great game. Scrolling can get frustrating sometimes and the red dots are a bit tiny. But it's a nice innovative concept.

Sirus the Virus by eburn184 2012-04-25T04:33:00

Solid platformer with nice innovative game mechanics. Definitely needs some difficulty tweaking but otherwise awesome

Nom Nom Planet by Arkazon 2012-04-28T17:16:00

Really like the style of the monsters. Enjoyed playing it. Can get really tricky to coordinate moving and shooting but it's nicely balanced.

TinyBoxes by geekygenius 2012-04-29T23:31:00

Nice little puzzler. Sokoban with some nice little extra touches to it. I am impressed by the amount of levels for a 48h game.

Bottled Worlds by Patacorow 2012-04-30T00:09:00

Really nice platformer. Enjoyed playing. It's a bit hard, but that might just be because I suck at platformers :)

Hive by ericdpitts 2012-04-29T23:14:00

Nice little defense game. Controls are a bit tricky. Really liked the background music.

GERMS: A Ghost Story by matt 2012-05-06T23:14:00

Cool idea with the nose. Took me a while to figure out that I need to charge (should have read the damn instructions). The breathing background noise creeped me out after a while though :)

Tinyville Confidential by Rose 2012-04-24T03:27:00

Like the concept, especially some of the Tinyville Confidential news ("had an embarrassing spat about Star Wars vs. Star Trek" :D). It's a pity that you didn't get around to add winning condition or negative points for enemies next to each other.

Kid's Wars by iFred_QC 2012-04-27T02:31:00

Cool concept. Don't know why but the fast-paced style reminded me on Z. Great job!

Lost by elektron 2012-04-28T02:12:00

Nice little platformer. I like the minimalistic pixel graphics. Enjoyed playing it.

Tiny world survival by Dracir 2012-04-28T17:25:00

Love the fast-paced pixel style. The rain makes it pretty tricky to see your shots in the beginning. Enjoyed playing it.

Invasion Of Tiny World by gregdevice 2012-05-09T05:38:00

Nice innovative robot game. Really enjoyed playing it. Very complete and polished.

25 Rooms by V0ID 2012-04-29T23:59:00

Nice concept. Plays a bit like Scotland Yard (the board game) on crack :). Managed to win twice :)

Affinity World by Jilius 2012-05-08T05:41:00

Nice innovative concept. Really enjoyed playing it. Screwed up the first time. Got to 3 friends the 2nd time but don't know how to progress further. Couldn't close the application properly either. I had to use the task manager to kill it.

IÄTI by gnx 2012-05-06T23:48:00

Nice little game. Really enjoyed it. Interesting combination of Tetris and puzzle game.

Burning Platform by recursive frog 2012-04-30T00:46:00

Nice little game. The line concept reminded me on Chalk Ball. The tilt controls and short lived lines can get pretty frustrating sometimes tough.

Crystalbots by rynti 2012-04-28T02:25:00

Cool little shoot'em up. Like the upgrade system. Made it to wave 17. But those little UFO thingies are tough. Enjoyed playing it.

The Lair by Lilleman 2012-05-05T11:34:00

Nice, solid platformer for 48h. Collision detection with enemies is a bit shaky and it feels like gravity is too low.

Trucking the Universe by FrozenCow 2012-04-24T01:58:00

Took a few attempts but I finally got home with my brewskis after defeating the evil worm thingie :)

Real cool concept. Had a blast playing it.

GRIDiots by Taugeshtu 2012-04-28T17:31:00

Love the mood and setting of this one. Kind of like Tron meets Minecraft. Would like to see an expanded post-compo version of this one.

Furaingu Ki by RiamuDiMentis 2012-04-24T01:16:00

Liked the relaxing background music and overall concept/game play. Movement of the planet is a bit too predictable.

Gets you hooked though. Especially after johnfn announced his high score and I desperately tried breaking it without success :)

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Turtle Simulator by chikun Dev Team 2014-04-29T03:51:00

Cute idea. Who am I to argue with Al Gore? Nice soundtrack as well.

A Bank Heist on Christmas by Hob623 2014-04-29T03:29:00

Quite surreal but good for some laughs. I especially liked finding "The Key" :)

Magnum by jsspiegel 2014-05-03T21:50:00

Funny little typing game. Also made me want to watch Zoolander again :)

spelunker by titoboss 2014-05-03T18:35:00

Nice little game. And I thought the original Spelunky was hard. Wow. Really difficult (and I actualled finished Spelunky).

Leagues Above by BumbleBirds 2014-04-29T03:19:00

Nice gameplay and graphics. Took a while to figure out what's going on. Some sort of health indicator would be nice. Played quite a bit with my wife :)

SubChase by theplotlessplot 2014-04-29T03:40:00

Nice endless runner style game. Punishing difficulty. Especially the big iceberg is tough to avoid. One develops a love/hate relationship with this game kind of like with Flappy Bird.

Crustacean Farm by LandoSystems 2014-04-29T04:02:00

Nice graphics and polished gameplay. Was a bit hard to figure out what to push so I just ended up pushing a mix of everything to the surface :)

Beachcomber by Mase 2014-04-30T03:09:00

Well done. Quirky in a good way, not what I originally expected.

Heart of the Cards by roaet 2014-04-30T03:30:00

Nice idea. I wonder how many story combinations there are total. Would like to see this concept further developed.

Beast Emerging by adcrusher 2014-05-03T18:50:00

Nice game. Graphics, sound and the little shake effects made it a very immersive experience. Also nice progression in gameplay.

Spunk Spelunk by ChuiGum 2014-05-06T03:55:00

Nice addicting game. Time was just flying by playing it :)
When boulders came down on both sides simultaneously it sometimes felt like there was no way to escape.

Syndrome by Anoarith 2014-04-30T02:59:00

Fun idea. A bit difficult to figure out the right answers, but fun regardless. Loved the art work.

Elder Sub by IndieKylo 2014-04-29T03:13:00

Nice graphics, great attention to detail in them and good unit control. I wish gameplay would've been more flushed out. Not a lot of things to do right now :(

Ghost Story by Yword 2014-04-30T03:19:00

Wow. Great game. Awesome graphics, nice controls, complete package. But god damn this was frustrating at times :)

Thought Police by GrooveMan 2014-05-02T17:00:00

Long story line with multiple branching points. Nicely done. This must have taken you a while.

Under a rock sky by Cash 2014-05-03T18:05:00

Nice ramp up in difficulty. Good music/sfx. Player physics felt a bit wonky. Felt like jumping around on the moon :). Very enjoyable

Duelo by javierecf 2014-05-06T03:42:00

Awesome puzzle game. Very interesting concept. I'd definitely love to see a more fleshed out version of this with some introduction and a nicer ramp up in difficulty. I feel like this has a lot of potential

Poltergiest Is Friend by superepicfail1337 2014-04-30T02:24:00

Nice concept of controlling both characters simultaneously. Character gets sometimes stuck on walls. But overall well done

The Crevice by ZQMony 2014-04-30T02:12:00

Really nice soundtrack and graphics. Crazy difficult though. Couldn't make it past Level 3

Elemental Serpent by Lafie 2014-05-03T18:55:00

Interesting take on Snake. I found the lava and water very hard to control, but it was fun to play.

Shark Feast by carrier_signal 2014-04-30T02:18:00

Nice gameplay twist. Endless eater should be its own genre. Love the music, especially the one on the menu screen with the splashing

UHP Undeground Facility by 2A1S 2014-05-03T18:27:00

Nice game. Great atmosphere and graphics. Also not a straight forward shooter but you have to think about how you're going to approach the next enemy

LD46 — Keep it alive

Please Stay on the Line by kleinzach 2020-04-23T01:15:18Z

Great lighting and atmosphere. The way back from the west wing was rough. Juggling escaping and cell phone use was challenging. Enjoyed playing it

Guardian of the Rite by sawtan 2020-04-20T20:19:16Z

Nice tower defense like game. The shotgun almost felt more satisfying than the machine gun after it. Needs an auto shotgun for best of both worlds :). Music and SFX are great too. Really set the mood

Watchdog by mao 2020-04-22T16:21:22Z

Wow. This was great. Really polished, fantastic atmosphere, challenging level design. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this. Reminds me a bit of Volume or Metal Gear Solid

Alien Intensive Care by Linky439 2020-04-24T23:33:16Z

Nice concept. Really feels stressful to juggle all this problems at once.

Its Alive! by automatonvx 2020-04-20T20:09:14Z

Fun platformer. Feels very complete. Level design is great introducing mechanics one by one. That last level took me quite a few tries.

Potater Toss by BoxedMeatRevolution 2020-04-24T23:26:29Z

Hilarious concept. Loved the sounds the potato makes when it gets tossed in the air. Keeping the potato airborne was challenging enough. Getting condiments on top of it was impossible. Great job! This is the kind of stuff I love Ludum Dare for

Guardian Lich by svntax 2020-04-24T23:41:58Z

Fun little game. Very complete. Music, Sound, animations, the whole package. Killing the knights off takes quite a few hits. If there're no wizards to deflect spells off around it can be challenging getting through them without taking too much damage

Dear President, by Badosz 2020-04-20T22:30:00Z

Very nice audio and graphics. Really immersive. Timing on some of the events is really challenging

Active Earth Rush by Odd1In 2020-04-27T23:13:18Z

Great music. Really catchy. It was a bit challenging to figure out where you need to go. I'm also not sure if the enemies can do anything to you or if you can just ignore them

Night in the Garden by nikchernyakov 2020-04-25T21:24:24Z

Great atmosphere. Music really helps set the mood too. Dear god that last gas can was tedious. You need to make a sequel where I can burn those damn plants down with a flamethrower.

Nice typing game. Glad to know that earth defense is in the hands of a MS-DOS prompt

Stranded by notnullnotvoid 2020-04-22T15:58:26Z

Nice survival game. Has a bit of a Don't Starve vibe. Feels very polished as well. Great graphics and sfx set the mood nicely

RUSSIAN VIP by VIBROMATIC 2020-04-21T14:23:32Z

Cool Hotline Miami Style shooter. Dig the music. Controls can be tricky. Really enjoyed this one.

droidathon by acgaudette 2020-04-23T00:22:00Z

Nice idea. Gets quite hard real quick. The hammer, shoot mechanic feels really nice

Fish in Peril by GreenDinoGames 2020-04-23T00:19:07Z

Nice game. Really dig the adorable graphics. But this fish was just not meant to make it

Keep the Flame Alive by InsanityCode 2020-04-22T16:03:38Z

We clearly have different understandings of the word "easy" :). Really polished rythm game. Only managed to do ok on the guitar. Drums and keyboard were brutally difficult.

The Bob and the Rob by Yonman 2020-04-22T20:23:03Z

This is hilarious. Trying to run back to keep grandpa alive but struggling to fit through the door with the damn respirator in my hands. The sfx made me laugh as well.

Great little card game. Really polished. Especially the graphics look great and it fits the theme well. Not too many mechanics but this feels like it should be explored further after the jam

The Last Cactus by HomunculusGames 2020-05-01T01:42:34Z

Nice platformer. Graphics are amazing. Probably the best I've seen so far this LD. Very polished overall and the gameplay feels great

Sukiyaki RUNNER Grisha by danek 2020-04-20T19:54:35Z

Nice little top down platformer/shooter. It gets brutally difficult real quick. Checkpoints would be nice

LYMPHOSITE by Saturnyoshi 2020-05-01T01:50:28Z

Nicely polished top down shooter. Very impressive entry. Music sets the mood really well. Controls feel nice. The recoil on that triple gun though is extreme :)

The Given Path by Jvdwijk 2020-04-23T00:08:13Z

Lots of stuff packed into this game. What's happening in the card game was hard to follow but somehow I won. The sneaking was nice

Keep Reputation Alive by Chief141 2020-05-01T01:38:16Z

Fun game. I was amazed how many levels there are. Reminds me a bit of Quell a mobile game that has similar controls. Very enjoyable.

u died by arcayn 2020-04-21T14:11:26Z

"this is the end for you". nice little platformer/text adventure mixture. the platformer sections took me quite a few tries. very challenging.

i had to reverse engineer some portions. couldn't figure out how to go straight ahead into the "treasure room" or how i get to the state so i can attack the shadow. but it was easy enough to figure out in source code.

Restart Later by Theg 2020-04-21T14:19:33Z

Nicely done! I felt the existential dread of windows updates and dark UI patterns. Once you've figured out the 3 different lose conditions it becomes very easy to keep it going. Maybe more tasks or randomization would help mix it up

SeaTurtle Safety Squad by PrimalShadow 2020-04-22T15:51:23Z

I have a real hatred for seagulls now. Took me a couple tries but I finally managed to keep at least one alive. Sound and some more visual hints would be nice but I really enjoyed playing this

Journey to the center of the body by Sanjana 2020-04-20T22:33:13Z

Nicely done. Feels like sometimes in a narrow area there's no way to avoid the enzymes. Really enjoyed the graphics of this one

Vestige by BitPokit 2020-04-27T23:18:51Z

Nice, complete platformer with an innovative twist. Really like the music too. Helps set the mood. Enjoyed playing it

A Journey Home ! by The Game smith 2020-04-20T22:37:45Z

Nice little asteroids inspired shooter. Reload time is brutally long sometimes

Life Ablaze by Gerbo 2020-04-23T00:13:13Z

Wow. This one ramps up 0-100 in 10 sec :). I liked how you have to juggle keeping the circle going and killing enemies at the same time

Dodger by Unevilicorn 2020-04-20T20:23:18Z

Nice gameplay. Gets incredibly difficult real quick. Only made it to 2300. The music is great too. Really addictive
