Very, very cool. I picked up on the gameplay and mechanics almost immediately with no tutorial! Oh...btw I got really nervous playing it. Might need to play next time with a glass of bourbon :)
running windows 7 64 bit, co-workers laptop (maybe doesn't have VS 2008 SP 1?) stuck at black screen. sounds cool, wish i could play
Very interesting. Like everyone else it took me a bit to figure out how to play. Well done!
Nice atmosphere but trying to move the astronaut was frustrating. I would love to see the lighting and graphics implemented into an exploration game!
Really like the idea. Was not sure what to do though, sometimes I got feedback from my actions through graphics or the meters, other times nothing seemed to happen when I clicked an icon. So I ended up just randomly selecting icons. With work it could be a very fun and amusing game. Great start!
Love how even the details on this page are all scrambled. Great!
nice idea and atmosphere, i really enjoyed being able to launch an asteroid and then rotate around and watch it collide with the planet. Definitely unfinished though, and game crashed at one point.
Enjoyed it! I used to read Choose Your Own Adventure stories as a kid.
very cool. surprised there are so few comments. Great mood and humor.
Audio was interesting, created a nice whimsical mood, fit with the art style. Liked how the tempo of the music increased, was it with speed of falling?
Some of the jumps were near impossible on the keyboard, and the camera was well...you know. Anyway, very nice work!
Excellent presentation.
Wow. I don't now if I love your game or absolutely hate it. I could not resist to play a game about a ninja going to a club, but your game may be most appropriate at Georgetown as a law school survey on what does and does not constitute plagiarism :) Your game may have just caused me schizophrenia...i am going to go lie down
Hey vilya. We could not get the game to run when we extracted it using the default windows zip utility. When we used 7-zip to extract the contents of the zip it worked. Not sure why?!? Sorry :(
Sorry XNA does not work for you MadGnomeGamer. I think next time we might go HTML5, maybe even a dash of WebGL for good measure.
Hey everyone. Sorry for all the trouble. We will see what we can do. In the meantime, can someone try to extract the zip with 7-zip and see if that works?
Looks like only about 24 hours left. Thanks to everyone who has already played our game and left feedback and comments. Sorry to everyone who couldn't play, I think next time we will use flash or unity.
Very unique idea. I wish there was more integration with the voices and the gameplay mechanic. Maybe some way for each paddle type to be associated with the male or female voice? Just trying to throw out an idea. Great work!
Very nice concept! Never felt much tension though. Overall, very nice.
Great presentation and mood. I just wish it was longer.
Pretty fun. Appreciate trying a different control scheme, kind of frustrating though. Not sure if although different it distracts from the rest of the game instead of enhancing it.
It took me awhile to figure out what was going on, but once I got it it was fun (actually it was pretty fun when I didn't understand). Great job! Happy to see some WebGL action.
Great story and game mechanic! Platforming controls were pretty stiff though.
Gets really hard! Really cool shift in my perception of the level when my lil petro buddy got so small that many enemies were just stomping in place.
very cool, reminds me of a game i played, i think is was called Small Worlds. I liked the change in scale i felt as I explored, I would feel the world was huge, until I ran into the side of the globe and then everything felt small again. Enjoyed the transition of the art as I climbed upwards. I always have a good experience playing exploratory platformers!
Very cool! Really nice soundtrack, great that I could navigate around, reminded me of metroid a bit (In a good way!)
Question: I just started out in flash, made my first game using flixel. How did you build your levels? Did you use an editor?
Thanks a bunch! I haven't spent any time looking into level building. I will check out DAME and Tiled. I actually looked at Tiled for our XBLIG game but did not end up ever using it. Cannot comment on it, sorry.
Really liked the orbiting planets, having to use those as platforms. Wish I could play a more refined version, alas 48 hours is so little time. Nice job!
