TellusE, I think I have included every dll needed, but you might need the visual studio 2008 sp1 redistributable files. Otherwise I don't know what could be the problem. The game run on several windows system, and one of them was a fresh install.
For the others, it's good to hear, that you enjoyed the game. Yes, we know it's a simple platformer, but that's all we had time for. But for a first game, I think it's pretty solid and mostly bug free :) .
There are a lot of animations what didn't made into the final game, but hopefully I could include them soon. (I will probably do a post-release expanded version later this and next week, so if you enjoyed the game, be sure to look back in 1-2 weeks, and give it an another try!)
youdonotexist, I can put together a linux build this weekend , but sadly no Mac (I don't have one), and no Web version (I have no experienced in web development at all)
Thanks for the bugreports / ideas guys! They are certainly useful.
For the hints, it's kinda easy to bypass the third hint about the probe, as I managed to place it below and somewhat further from the first platform, and if you began jumping as soon as possible, you simply miss that one.
Absolutely amazing music, and great mood. Though the graphics is kinda simple, but I enjoyed playing the game :)
Great idea, I both liked the execution and the graphics. The only thing missing is the music. Except that it's very good, great work!
The graphics worked well for me, the movement, level design, the enemies were also fine. But please, add some visual feedback next time, I didn't know if I'm hitting them with the shotgun or not. Otherwise, it's pretty solid. Great work!
Great game, everything works well, except that the music gets annoying pretty quickly. (java crashed when installing, but the game still managed to start...)
