Cool idea and the polish is pretty good, although I wish there were more to the gameplay.
Thought the humor was good but ultimately the gameplay is just a lander with varying boost strength.
There was definitely a LOT of work put into the graphics and polish of the game which I really appreciate, but ultimately the gameplay is really lacking. Every planet is walk right or stay alive (or the resource thing which I didnt understand), and the only choice you have is deciding whether to shoot left or shoot right.
Good idea, although the implementation was sort of lacking. I feel like the gravity-switching should've been utilized more for the gameplay. There were some sections were you had to switch planets to stomp enemies or to grab fuel which I thought were pretty good, I think it would've been better if there were more of that and less platforming / shooting. Also respawn time for checkpoints was kinda long, an instant respawn after the death animation without a button would probably work better.
The different weapon mechanic was a bit confusing and there's definitely not enough time to get to the portal when it shows up, but I thought it was a nice concept. The combat would be a lot better if shooting were mouse controlled though.
Pretty cool. I'm the kind of guy who thinks Gone Home and Proteus are definitely games, but this is really leaning towards "not a game" for me, just because the *only* interaction is pressing spacebar, which doesn't even have much of an effect on the experience. I liked it though, the experience was cool.
I can't even express through words how much emotion this evokes. Really hit home. 5/5
Really good game, although if I had one complaint I would say that it's paced rather slowly given the aesthetic.
Collisions are a tad buggy at times
...Do you even give a poop about null? Really nice-looking.
felt like the movement was a bit 'woo-hoo' but other than that very good.
Super cool game. Nice execution on a great idea.
I don't know if you're aware of this, but it's possible to just mash either true or false and just run your score up without repercussion
Controls seemed a bit sticky but for a first attempt it's definitely good. Keep it up!
Cool concept, reminds me of Super Mario 64 in a sense.
I really wish I could find an opponent...
All the praise of the above comments and more! Excellent job.
Kind of strange movement, at times it felt like I couldn't really control my 'moeba. Good game though, interesting concept.
Cool choice of palette, good fun indeed. Nice work!
Great execution, esp. since the graphics are all code-based. Well done!
Nice work! Cool concept and good implementation of the theme.
Intriguing art, interesting interpretation of the theme.
Very fun to play and a very neat concept.
view-movement was kinda strange. Cool concept.
Not entirely sure of controls, would like some direction.
Neat concept, good execution. Also good audio.
Great game, although by ~round 5 I had seen all of the possible hipster phrases and it got a bit monotonous. Good work though.
Very interesting in concept and execution. Minimalist indeed, nice work!
Very, very cool game. Visually pleasing graphics and gameplay, however I'd like to see better control responsiveness (you can only attack/jump/slide when there are no other buttons pressed), but other than that i have no complaints.
As a frequenter of r/seventhworldproblems I found this to be most pleasing. good level design and progression from simple to more complex.
Cool concept, funny tutorial. Nice graphics, too. Good job.
Pretty good game, graphics were excellent, nice sound, but in my opinion the frog was a bit hard to control. Otherwise, good job.
Combat system seemed more than a bit rushed, as did pretty much ever aspect of the game. It was a really cool concept, though, and had it been executed well it'd have made for a really good game.
Nice graphics, cool concept, good gameplay. No complaints here, great job!
Great game! Like an amp'd up version of the original Mario... I like it. Good job.
Wow! Very nice game. Fun to play, more fun to watch the human get all distorted when you get one right ;D Great job!
This was a really cool game, nice job!
This is by far the best one I've played so far. You've adapted the Doodle God mechanic to LD and held it together with visually intriguing graphics and a brilliant premise. Great game.
Nice premise, couldn't quite find the theme in there, but otherwise good job.
Overall, this really wasn't a bad game. Everything was there, everything worked. A couple of things, though:
- Graphics could use some work
- Some more in-depth instructions would be nice.
Other than that, good job.
Holy Graphics.
That is all.
Very cool. I really think you should continue working on this :D
Cool concept. Good job :D
Controls are a bit tough to get used to but other than that, great game.
Reminded me of the Cell Stage from Spore. Good work.
Pretty fun once you know what you're doing. Good show.
Pretty cool, I liked the graphics and the particle emission from the player. Wish there was some context here though.
What is this I don't even.
I appreciate that you entered at least.
But...
This...
I don't think this is really even a game...
5 for humor though.
Very cool game.
I like the graphical styling, too.
Also, I really enjoyed the alternate ending. Nice message.
9/10, would play.
Graphics are nice and minimalistic,
Can't say I really enjoyed it, though.
Partly because it lacked a sort of immersible factor and was kinda short...
Partly because you sort of comment-badmouthed my submission... But after seeing yours, I'm not really bothered by it.
Dat Minecraft font :D
Great submission, though.

Give and Take by Move127 2015-12-14T04:51:00
This is really cool, it was hella satisfying once I realized how to work the resource distribution. It threw some errors while I was playing, though, specifically when attempting to murder people.
BEAR by graceavery 2015-12-14T04:45:00
Excellent. My favorite thing about this is that after endless crappy [read: amazing] bear-puns, the berry pickup is called 'BERRIES' and not 'BEAR-IES.'
The Winter by sydan 2015-12-14T04:41:00
Man, this one looks damn sexy. Great work. Love how the music speeds up.
Agropolis by Magicolo 2015-12-14T04:33:00
The endless click'n and dragg'n got a little old after a while, but this is really cool!

Excellent! Your interpretation of the theme is really similar to mine, too, so bonus points for that.
Full Metal Democracy by deepnight 2015-12-14T04:04:00
Once again, deepnight destroys our ambitions of doing well in LD. Great job as always, mate.

This is freakin' amazing. Always a pleasure to see great pixel art in LD. And great gameplay. And great sounds. And great ambience. And great...
Star Something by liquidmedia 2015-12-14T03:50:00
Your Web link doesn't quite work; I get a [useless] download of the .unity3d file rather than an actual web build. I got the Windows version going though - short of flying around and knocking some shapes around I wasn't totally sure what to do... Also, it seems that there are [way] more than two buttons used to control your game...
Ludum Party! by FuzzyWuzzie 2015-12-14T03:44:00
This is so great - Always awesome to see local multiplayer games in LD, especially ones that are this complete.
Lights by gironC 2015-12-14T03:40:00
This game looks great, and the music track is pretty awesome - Could probably use some more polish, but hey, it's Ludum Dare! Great work.
