graphics and sound create a great atmosphere.
I feel like screen shake is a bit overused, it should be less noticeable on shooting(but that's just my opinion)
also shop ui was too hard to get to, it should be 1 button press max, not a whole main menu navigation
overall cool finished game, game mechanics worked well
really cool characters, each with their own mechanics. I enjoyed it a lot.
Really reminded me of nes games. Wish there was some old school music.
you should definitely fix controls issue(bug fix allowed even post compo), as the game is a lot harder than it should be with this bug.
The game is fun and graphics/sound are good, but the bug is kind of ruining it all
I'll check out later if there is fixed version.
i liked the age transition
gameplay feels kind of primitive though, there was no difference in weapon types, apart from visual style.
it's kind of cool, but having only two choices without much of visual impact gets boring quite quickly.
controls feel immediately familiar, as if I played this game before

Really funny intro, everything about the game was great. The only bad thing is difficulty, the levels should be shorter, or have checkpoints.

not a lot of variety, buy the game feels complete and had just perfect length of gameplay.
Smooth particles look kind of weird with together with pixel art though
Really liked music and graphics.
Didn't like enemies though, killing them took too long, and didn't feel rewarding(if they exploded with some camera shake it would help a lot).
I feel like sometimes it was impossible to dodge some bullets, which didn't feel good. Overall shooting is pretty cool. I mostly found myself using one weapon, the one shooting through everything. Other weapons seem much much weaker. And needed a better balance. And I didn't have time to decide which weapon to use at any given moment anyway, because there was so much going on.
I like how the controls kind of make you move like a tornado =D

awesome controls! really fun to use once you get hang of them. Finished the game wanting more levels to beat. The mechanic is just so awesome.
Really awesome. Attacks have nice feeling to them.
The only thing that feels wrong, is character movement speed. The character has running animation, but moves really slowly, so it look weird.

Also sometimes there was a real lack of enemies, I had to wait for them to come and get me. But there was a lot of quite intense moments too.
Upgrade system is nice addition and keeps gameplay flowing.
yeah.. this was too hard, probably if the jump would happen more often it would be easier, probably longer houses, i don't know.. it clearly needed more tuning and polishing.

The controls are amazing, they are surprisingly intuitive to use. Great graphics. Wish there were sounds. I had to voice the game myself...
Really fun overall.
The learning curve is too steep. I spent good 10 minutes trying to beat some level, but no luck. So I would recommend to introduce difficulty in less harsh manner.

Pretty good. The game feels finished. But somehow lucks feedback, as I am not really sure if I am moving in the right direction or not. It would be better if there was some specific sound when moving in the right direction, or more noticable visual effect, or camera shake only if you do something right.
Also in my opinion camera shake was to violent and redundant.
if these things would be there it would be a really good game.
I find fighting mechanic kind of awkward to use. It is not convenient that you can not attack while moving.
So I also had to cheat the game by just running through levels.

The implementation is quite bad though.
The game is too hard, mistakes are fatal, hero gets stuck a bit to the walls.
As for now it is just nice prototype. Would be great to see more juice when destroying enemies(like explosions, camera shake etc). It is currently not very satisfying to kill.

Left mouse weapon seems kind of pointless, because right button is so much more powerful, everything dies before mana runs out.
Sometimes it was hard to find enemies.
Was hard to figure out at first, but after that was quite easy to finish missions. Needs even more levels!
Why, why no sounds?.. The game doesn't feel quite right without them.
Anyway, overall good game and nice art.
Hero moves way too slow! It is impossible to get all the wolfes in time, just because the hero is so lazy...

You should have removed debug information file pdb, it takes really a lot of space. The game itself looks beautiful, but character controls are quite bad. Maybe it also caused by the fact that I have ~15 fps, but it was really difficult.

It was kind of dull, but quite fun. It's not quite clear what each bonus does. The explosion visual radius is slighly smaller then its death radius, which is quite annoying.

I loved that I had to use different tactics in different situations.
It is well balanced. It is not easy, but it is fun to defeat overwhelming enemies.
Although, I didn't quite like sounds and music. But it didn't really affected gameplay quality.
It was kind of hard. There are so many enemies, but your weapons hardly can do anything to them. I think it would be more fun if I could blow them up in a few shots.

that's awesome that you wrotethe whole engine during compo. I struggled to finish my game even with game maker.
The game itself is quite confusing, espicially at first. And even later there is so much stuff going on, you don't know what to do.

I enjoed this game. I wish it was faster, or had different difficulties levels, so the game would be faster at the start. I liked rotation of camera, but it would be so much better at higher speed, more dynamic. It reminds me about "super hexagon" game for some reason, even though gameplay is different. Overall is 5 stars

I guess those rainwalkers are just myth. Or main character is crazy and thinks he's not alone. It was great! Even though gameplay is primitive, but having feeling that at some moment you are going to meet one of rainwalkers is very intriguing

Controls were.. challenging. At first i coudn't control ship very well, but then i got used to it and it worked good enough.
I died for stupid reason, i was at 6 level, and i got caught on fire, and was dying slowly... was there any way to get rid off of fire?

There's something wrong with controls. I can't aim light properly, and when i try to shoot, it shoots always at the same direction.
Also I haven't found shooting button on gamepad.

this game is weird... i think i was quite far, but then i met a HUGE amount of guys in one room, there were so many bullets... i don't think it was possible to pass.

You should have done some performance optimizations. It's very slow. I have no more then one frame per three seconds.
