I fell through the first hole, and then I explored underworld
It was very short, but I liked it. The atmosphere and art were really well done! The only problem I had is the poor monkey kept falling down the holes :'(
I like the art and the ambience!
However, my monkey friend keep killing itself at the begenning..
Haha, the monkey shouldn't kill itself if you play it with chrome, there's a bug with firefox. But, ahem, yeah, should have spent more time thinking of an actual game ;)
Walking Darwin who seed evolution. Brilliant.
Good art and music. But very short.
Atmosphere, Graphics and Music are brilliant. I also like the idea of playing darwin who brings the evolution.
I didn't understand the purpose of the monkey: He either dropped in the first hole or got stuck a bit later. It's a shame this game lacks real gameplay, because I would love to spend more time in this world.
Nice mood and resources, but it is so short and has some bugs...
Actually, i played the game with Chrome, the monkey still died :)
Ah, well xD
Thanks everyone for the feedback, I exactly had the same impression about my game when submitting it :)
Could have spent more time on it, I'll know better next time ^^
Short and sweet, good mood.
For future reference, spend more time on programming then graphics. While they are very nice, the game is buggy, and doesn't really have much meat to it.
Movement was a bit slow for me but it was a nice short game. A bit too short but I like the graphics and animations, impressive for 48 hours. I did not hear any music? I was using chrome.
Nice animation, and lighting the fire was quite cool. Yeah the monkey still died with Chrome.
Nice start. The atmosphere you created works well and I can see the start of a larger story and some complex puzzles?
@gregdevice : My first plan was to create a distinct game mecanic for each "age", or state of human evolution. First platform, then puzzle, then exploration, and it was supposed to end with some kind of beat them all mecanic where Darwin kicked priests' asses, and the final boss would have been the pope or something like that x)
Didn't have enough time left for the last part though :p
Indeed very short, but also sets a very nice mood.
If there was some more gameplay this would be among top games I've played.
For now it is a very nice visual and audio experience :)
Mood points acquired.
good mood! like it
Very crisp and clean. Great job on the graphics and the audio. I can see how this would be a very compelling game if you had time to complete your vision.
That was pretty awesome. I hope you intend on making it longer.
