I liked the concept a lot! Probably it's really hard to find a neat balancing for it.
It was quite original to me, good job!

I liked the concept a lot! Probably it's really hard to find a neat balancing for it.
It was quite original to me, good job!
Hahahha, I love these "alternative explanations" to why stuff we know happened, really loved the humor :) had fun! Great game :)
Quite innovative, has a little bit of a "minecraftish" feel! But as said before, the character felt a little clumsy to me because of the way collisions are working right now!
I really liked the concept, the little back story and the simple graphics!
I really enjoyed the graphics! Cool game too, had some fun :)
Hint to my game: *keep pulling the lever* :}
Ohh okay! I thought you got stuck permanently :} Okay, sorry! :)
I really liked the movement, flying and animation, it's just too bad you didn't have time to really build a game around it! But thumbs up for the amazing effort, man! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll be able to do a lot more next time :D!
I really liked the mood, on that it aced, but I really had a hard time understanding how the game works and actually making something... I did record and made it go on autopilot, but it just didn't follow what I did before!
Cool. Could see a Star Fox influence right there :}
Really cool, man! Had a lot of fun, liked the music a lot :}
I really wish there was an invert Y-Axis option though, as I really struggled to aim since I'm used to Invert-mouse :D Also I felt the sensitivity was too high :}
Great job, especially for 48h only! Very objective game. Plain. Simple. Fun.
Hey, your pixel art is just amazing! Some weeks ago I was looking for games made in Stencyl on Ludum Dares, and I found the game "Tiny Island Adventure", was it yours? I really really loved the pixel art in that one, but in this one I loved even more!
About the gameplay, I think it wasn't very fluid you know? The water stage was a little too difficult for a first stage. When I got to the second one I was a little frustrated when I tried to jump on a leaf that had a worm chewing on it, but it wasn't a platform, then I died :(
Anyway, I liked your game, it has an exceptional amount of pixel art, you made it in Stencyl too and it was a very very good job, especially for being only under 48h!
Good game!
Loved it, lol! Can you evolve beyond Super?
The game is really fun, I liked how the sound reminded me a lot of atari, and even the art sometimes :) Good humor too!
great job man, very fun!
Well I liked it for some time! When it was getting a little repetitive I died :D Had some fun with it! :}
Great job!
7250! Man, I really enjoyed this one, one of the best for me so far, quite enjoyed it. Great Mario Bros reference. I think you got me mostly because of that in the beginning, but as it progressed it started to have its own feel.
I Liked the pacing. The difficulty curve keeps increasing consistently, and it feels really good when you kill a robot.
AWESOME job. Cheers!
I liked it, it goes on a completely different direction than most games, great job. I really had to figure out what to do. Different kind of game. Sadly I did not finish, I got frustrated on the scene vs cars and helicopter. Died like 10 times then I couldn't go again.
Really liked the mood and art style, great job!
Nice gamble-minesweeper feel to it, really really good. I also gave up cause I couldn't find ... something... :D but that was just my fault. Great concept, feeling, gameplay and mood, really great job.
congratulations
Hey, man! I liked the concept a lot, it gave me a Spore-esque feeling of that beggining, (which I feel is the best part of the game).
I didn't bother not having controls explained to me as I like to find out stuff too :D, and I was surprised to find out I could control the character with the mouse. When I did I really enjoyed the gameplay, although I feel the controls could feel a little tighter.
Good concept, man!
Man, I'm certainly giving you a 5 star on the humor, because I laughed so much on the "COGRATULATIONS. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS BAD GAME" thing :D. Really I found this game hilarious (not in a bad way)
Good job on the humor. 5/5 on that, that's for sure.
Ahh man, I really want to play it properly! I loved the style and concept, I just can't play with the Y-Axis like that :( I'm an "Invert Mouse" user, lol!
Great Job!
I liked it! I really sucked at it :( I wish my xbox controller was here so I could play using it, I think I'd suck a lot less :)
great art, sound, mood and gameplay, I really liked it.
Hahaha, mine smells of alchohol, has ludum dare written on his screen, got 1000 kittens, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember! :D
Loved the concept, the implementation, the art style, soundtrack and mood :} great job!
I felt it was cool. A bit of "Spore meets Katamari" feel to me, had fun! :)
Too bad it lagged REALLY BAD on the webplayer, and I couldn't run the application on Mac.
Gj!
Fell in love with the concept, man. Now I know why you really got into the narrative of my game, your game also has an awesome narrative motivation to it.
I simply loved the exploration of evolution on this concept, it was exactly what I wanted to do with my game too, getting away from the obvious 'evolution of species' concept for me was just an obligation, and you did it so, so well, and the levels are really well designed.
I liked your game more than mine! hahaha :D
Congrats!
I liked it! As others also stated, I really wish it was longer :} I was really getting into the little storyline. The triangles part was my favorite :D
Great! Very moody, especially with the soundtrack you made! gj
Thanks everyone! It's been an AMAZING experience and I'm loving too read all of your feedbacks! :} If I haven't yet played your games, I surely will when I have the time for it (probably today at lunch :})!
@midgard Hey, it's all on the story around it. It's a metaphor, where you are simply repeating your actions day after day, like working on a boring thing (pulling a lever every day), then one day you simply feel it's enough and evolve to start seeing stuff in a different way, you know? :}
@dalbinblue hahaha yeah, I know, it really happens. I tried to fix it but i just couldn't... So I just thought, as you stated yourself "will this really affect the game"? And the answer was no! :D Thanks for the Feedback!
@madameberry Yeah! I'm glad you got the chills cause that was exactly my objective!! :) Thanks a lot!!
@MortalWombat Woah, thanks a lot for that feedback! Really appreciate it! Again, I'm very satisfied to read that people are really getting the "moody" feel I set out to reach. It's the best compliment for me :}
On the subject of the ending gameplay, I really felt I could go on with the story, but I was a little afraid that the game would turn out being an interactive exploration without much "fun" to it, so I really felt the need to put some action into it... Especially to give it an ending in time, you know?
Thumbs up for the effort, dude! Thanks for checking out my game too!
Wow, it's really really hard! I really did keep trying and trying... I even ALMOST got to the candy in the room with the 4 fat boys, but I just couldn't do it :( I was curious, but I just ended up giving up. sorry!
Man, I really liked your take on the theme. It's another game about evolution of species BUT it was cleverly though on the part of "getting life experience".
That's what really impressed me. If you stand still, you'll get no experience, so no new abilities, if you go on and try to fight, you will, so that's a real nice motivator. Too bad the difficulty curve just goes down and down as the game progresses towards the end, but hey, that's the concept of the game, being the strongest and eliminating everyone, right?
Great job!
WOW, I really LOVED the sound feedback, 5/5 on audio for that, FOR SURE.
I just can't let myself play clicking slow, lol! I have to set a tempo in my mind and go with that.. dude this is FUN!
Hey, I liked your game! Some nice humor to it, a (to me) kind of innovative idea!
As a suggestion, I think you could make the controls on the thing you grab with the mouse a little bit tighter, you know? the response of the blue ball thing is a little late, and I believe the game would benefit a lot from that change!
Cheers! Good game!
Liked the idea, but not a fan of the gameplay, got a little bit tired of clicking, you know? Fun to relax a little bit and check out what the outcome could be :)
I liked it, but I didn't quite get this: I only need to finish the stage with one of the balls? I thought at first that I needed to make all of them go in, but once they died and I could finish with only one I was confused!
Good job! Nice art :)
I took some time to understand how it works, but once I did, man, I was really impressed. I loved how you made the "next generation" evolution thing, so before you "pick a wife" you have to think well.
The only thing that frustrated me a lot is the movement of the character... sometimes it just takes too long to walk up to a zombie just to end up getting killed in one button press, you know? character could be faster, or the level smaller! Just an opinion! :)
Awesome job man, I really enjoyed it!!
Absolutely loved the graphics, cutscenes, sound and mood... I'm a fool for pixel art.
As soon as I turned into a frog I couldn't get past the huge wall to get the birds... the height of the jump just wasn't enough :(
Dude, the mood is phenomenal, loved the skull's humor. The boss is damn hard :D
Good game :)
Cool thing, really walked through the stages of life of that little cat :} cute art, I enjoyed it, it was more like an "interactive story" thing, not much of a game for me, but still cool!
great job ;)
Lvl 19, 1min30s, 912 score :D I liked it! My hand got a little tired of clicking like a maniac! I really enjoyed the sountrack and the visuals!
Great Job! :} Pretty fun!
Couldn't run it! Big Java error! I liked the screenshot, want to play it :)
Hey man, I still can't play it! Yesterday when I was home I was using Windows, now at work I'm on a Mac, but can't play it!
Thanks for your comments on my game, appreciate the feedback :}!
Wow, I really had fun! I love these fast play-repeat games, especially when you got some upgrades to go along. Great job.
Hey, your idea is REALLY original man, i LOVED the concept, I just feel you could explain it a little better to the players since I took like 3 plays to finally grasp the concept.
But dude, in 48hours that's really a damn nice job, great idea and implementation! It just needs polish now, and I really think you should do it!
Also, thanks for your comment on my game.
Cheers!
I'm stuck right in the beginning! Character doesn't move out of the place.
I really liked the atari-art style :} want to play it now :D
Ok, I was able to play it now!
I found it way too hard right on the beginning, but for some reason i freaking loved your game, it just clicked. Maybe it's because of the difficulty, lol!
I have a suggestion, though. Could you create a checkpoint when you die or something like that? It's kind of a drag having to watch the cutscene over and over again when you die. I believe if you do that, the feeling of frustration when dying will decrease a lot, ending up on people playing your game for more time, and enjoying it more!
By the way, I loved what you did on the beginning cutscene... forcing the player to explore to see something happen, great job. I did something similar on my game, I'd love if you could check it out if you have some time!
Great job! Cheers!
I liked the graphics, but couldn't find the theme apart from already game evolving progression, which is actually in every game :D
Felt the difficulty curve climbed up too fast!
good game though!
I took a while to understand what it was about, kind of my fault for not reading the instructions down there, but you could give a short explanation upon startup!
I liked the gameplay a lot, very cool concept. Congratulations!
For some reason I felt I should endure that first level... And it paid off.. great job, I liked it :)
The graphics really reminded me of "Another World"! LOVED the art style! Although I didn't have anyone to play it with me, I can really see that this game can be a lot of fun. Simple, yet VERY entertaining.
Reminded me of a little game I used to play when I was a kid (no, not with guns, lol!), where you gotta dodge the other player's slap on your hand... I'm not sure I can explain it correctly here, but it's the same feeling!
Really enjoyed it. Great job!
Holy crap, I loved this.
Like gustavo said, you really wanted that theme, right? :D Great system you created there... Reminded me of breeding chocobos in FF7 :}
I felt that the physics were a little too loose. The frog takes too much time to land, and he is a little bit slow. Doesn't feel so natural, you know?
I like the concept, just wished the physics were a little tighter!
Only 8 Hours? Really? I really like how this game works and feels. It's practically impossible not to think of Terraria when looking at it (actually that's what caught my attention in the first place!) but that's not a bad thing at all.. I really liked it, but couldn't get even close to getting past the blobs hahaha.
Great job!

Liked it, but there are three things I'd like to point out:
1. Title screen is a little confuse to me. I didn't know what to right away do to start the game, so I felt like it was bugged
2. If there are no enemies on the screen, I can't really feel at which speed I'm moving
3. The lack of information explaining which letter does what to my character.
I really liked the mechanics and gameplay though. The mood was kinda cool too! I liked the soundtrack too.
Good game! :)
Woah, you even set up a walkthrough for it. Great job man, I liked it!
Right away I laughed on the first lines of dialog (won't spoil for others). Great humor :)
Great level design, awesome job on the little art! The feeling of the controls is just great, they're very responsive, fast and smooth.
Damn I just got in a part where I got the second card but I just can't equip it, is that supposed to happen? :( Couldn't find out what to do. Anyways, I really loved the game :) Great Job!
Loled at the countless Zelda references and anagrams. Really good graphics and mood. I think the controls could have a better feel to them, as the game doesn't flow naturally!
Good game!
I really liked the concept, the music evolving was indeed a nice touch. I just really feel that the evolve menu has some navigational issues... It just takes too long to navigate through it, and it's such an important part of the game!
Great job with the game!
Hahahahaha, so fun! Thumbs up for HUGE amount of character art... and might I say pretty freaking well done art :}
I loved it, simple, direct and fun. Dodos.
Lol for Nyan Cat! I liked it, dude, just wish the controls were a little tighter. The ball feels too heavy :}
Good job!
Hey man! I think the level design could have been a little more friendly, especially if you go down and are still unable to jump. I felt it was a little too hard already in the beginning. I liked the style!
I felt the character movement is a little slow for me!
Good job there!
Man, I really liked the Level Design. It took some time for me to understand what was going on but once I did, it was just straight forward :) Great job!
Please consider inserting an Y-Axis inversion button (I'm asking this on every 3d game I play lol!)
I'm really enjoying discovering the stuff. I actually discovered the first by accident, and the item fell right behind the first enemy so I had to restart, lol! D:
Great job!
Like it a lot, mood, graphics, theme. Awesome game, santo!
Cheers :D
Liked the soundtrack! I liked the game overall, I think I've never played a platformer TD! I think it was a bit unfair that on the second evolution enemies came from "behind" the crystal too without any explanation :)
Great job! good game :D
Really really cool, had fun, could get to Square so far. I'll try to finish it later (is there an end?).
I really like that the game is really freaking hard, and I think you can explore it really well in a Super hexagon-esque kind of way.
I really liked the song, but I don't know if it fits.
Great exploration of theme. Congrats.
