Wow, that really creeped me out when I got the 100% to the egg. I thought it would spawn something to help me :D

What did I just experience. :D It was fun, I guess.
You were wrong by saying you didn't have time do anything fun, I thought the game was pretty fun :D The flying pose of the bird was hilarious and especially when I ran around for a minute before realizing there isn't any other content in the game. I had a laugh, thanks for the game. :) Keep at it.
Cool game, good controls and nicely designed levels. :)
I think it gave me a bit of an headache with the bright colors passing by the screen so fast :P Other than that, nice little game, especially the effects were cool(when enemy damages you and the transitions in the menu).
The mood was nice, the background music really fit the setting. The controls were good but the gameplay altogether was slighlty boring and didn't bring anything special into it.
Cool shooter. Building your own shooter was fun. Some kind of an explanation for what the next block will do would've been a nice addon, I still don't know what that square piece does. :)
Hmm.. no download link?
Really soothing puzzler/adventure. I really enjoyed unlocking the world and guessing what might come out of the white boxes around the world. :) I got to just above 20% on my second try when I failed and didn't really want to start over again. :P
Awesome game :D had a blast with it.
Haha, funny platformer, man. Although, not sure if it was meant to be, but the ape ran REALLY fast on my computer. Graphics were nice, although maybe few different kinds of trees would've kept the landscape more interesting. Good job.
Web build threw an error when loading.
Couldn't get past the first room. Those little pink thingies on the floor killed me no matter where I ran. :(
Reallu nice puzzle game. The sound effects worked really nice and gave a nice feedback on your actions. Sometimes I was lost that by combining which you would get which result, but thanks for the reset button I could retry easily.
yeah, when I realized that issue I didn't have time to fix it :/. I'm gonna update it in an after compo release.
You should get away from it by pressing Esc, which takes you to main menu and pressing play again. Game saves your situation after each "level", so you shouldnt lose that much progress.
Seems that when playing on Mac, there is very annoying shuttering bug with the cameras. That is NOT intenional, I just didn't have a mac to test it on during the development.
Karel, yeah my original idea had much more emphasis on the theme, but I failed to achieve it in time. :/ This one just "evolves as you play it" as in, more balls to control and longer levels.
Desi, there should be a red light near spikes, which you should be able to see with a corner of your eyes. Don't know if they are too feint then after all. :o
Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Thurig: Yeah, even though I've played metroid quite a bit, didnt connect this one to it until you mentioned. :P
eyehawk: thanks, do you remember the name of that indie game?
Dietrich: Haha, haven't tried "dual mario kart" :P Oxyd seems like a cool concept, especially for it's age.
Thanks, Bemmu. Really enjoyed your game. :)
aschearer: Thanks for the feedback. I've realized, that after three or more balls, good tactic is to try get one ball at a time to the goal while only concentrating on other balls if they are near spikes. If you, or someone come up with variations to the gameplay, please let me know. :)
madpew: Thanks, mate. I would've wanted some kick ass ambient there, but wasn't able to produce it in time :/
ncannasse: Definitely. I've noticed that I like to play the game myself more and more as I'm forced to play it when testing it. :) That happens rarely for me with my own games.
Zed: Thanks :). Oh that ball falling through the floor bug is really nerve wrecking if have a good score :/ Sorry about that.
sgehlich: Thanks :)
LuizHGMonclar: Thanks. :) The goal is to play through all nine levels and try to get as many balls to the goal as possible. You don't need to get any of the balls to the goal to proceed to the next level. Maximum score possible is 45/45, which means you don't hit ANY spikes. :P
Thanks for all the feedback guys. If you can think of anything how I could improve the game in future, please let me know.
Wlad, thanks for the feedback. That is a great idea, I'm currently developing this idea further and will do that. For this competition entry, I thought that people might want to see the game develop faster and not get bored out too quickly :P
Had some fun with it, basic concept is cool, but could use better graphical implementation around it.
The idea for losing your health when you shoot is nice, but I think that game needs more balancing for the mechanic to succeed.
Laughed my ass off when the guys head fell off. :D Cool game.
Lack of feedback made it hard to play. I guess you could do something by clicking on the buttons(?) in top right corner, but couldn't figure out if anything happened. Graphics are nice, kinda unique, and the whole game concept seems interesting if developed further.
Funny little concept. Reminds me a lot of angry birds space though :P. Cool over all execution.
Really nice base for a larger game. Would really like to see this develop into something bigger. :)
Couldn't get past the second stage. Found that there was a hive above, but neither of the meebas jumped when I pressed space.
Cool game :) One of the best audio work so far. Great music with good narratives and sound effects. Well done. Would've been cool if you could've eaten the smaller creatures when you grew up.
Nice little game. :) The controls were good and responsive. Sometimes it was hard to see how the round thingies would turn you when you would jump on them and led to some nasty suprise falls. :P
Overall really great game. Reminds me a lot of the Starcraft's mod "Evolution", which I played a lot as a kid. Graphics are really tidy and fits the game nicely. There isn't really anything to complain. Maybe the info for example the health of the "base" could be located ie. over the base.
Cool graphical style. Couldn't get past the guy with a stick, tried throwing the nut and the stick at him, but nothing.
Took a while to figure out what to do, and even after reading the help text, felt pretty boring. Just watching the ants and hoping they would go the way you want them to go. Cool concept, but needs really more work to be fun enough. Keep at it. :)
I like the graphics and the mood of the game, well done.
rot13, you can see the theme explanation in the main screen. Second, comes from latin word "secundus", which means "following", and from there I got the 10 followers. :) Just tried to think outside the box when I saw all the "Try to beat the game in 10 secs" games coming out.
BenWhi, no idea :D I made the levels 20min before the deadline, there were suppose to be 10 of them, but ran out of time(also, testing time).
juaxix: Glad you liked it. :) I'm not familiar with Shiffman or Nature of Code, gotta check it out.
Thanks rot13. :)
I just added a windows, linux and mac builds and the source files.
I can't test mac or linux versions so I hope they work properly.
Maybe you should upload the game to somewhere else, 4shared.com wants you to create an account before downloading and I don't really want to do that. :/
It was incredible how moody game you've created with such a simple graphics. I really enjoyed diving down to the unknown. :)
The basic idea is nice and it could be improved further, but as it is, I didn't really find it fun though. :)
I tried about 4 times and it was just too hard because of the speed. Maybe the speed should be slower in the beginning and increase during gameplay or something?
I can't start the game, it says I'm missing MSVCP110.dll.
The overall experience was a bit confusing. :P I can see you've had a good idea behind the concept, but I guess you didn't have enough time to create it properly.
I wasn't sure when I was able to attack and when not, etc. Maybe you should try adding something more clear to indicate that?
I liked the music track though. :) It fitted the mood nicely.
I like the concept, but don't really like the time constraint. I guess if the drops were more frequent you would be able to get further, but at the moment I can only kill two slimes and then the time is over and I never get any loot.
Oh and btw, the graphics were nice, good job!
Nice game. :)
I liked the concept, even though I found it a bit challenging. I played around 2 minutes before I realised I could create those "tens" and then about another 4 minutes before realizing I could drop them to the recycler to get points. :P
I liked micro-managing the cards, trying to not let them disappear.
The sound for a disappearing card was SO annoying :D liked the game anyway.
Also, the achievements were very nice and the fact that the game wouldn't end in your loss and you couldn't lose a level if you've already achieved it.
Good job.
Simple, but nice concept. I liked the changing level design. The "speed up" text was a bit on the way, maybe it could be on the bottom of the screen or something.
Good job. :)
Such a lovely game. Good innovation around the theme, polished graphics, audio and gameplay. Can't really come up with criticism on this one.
I had an issue with the camera. It was pointing down all the time. When I would drag with mouse or the use the gamepad's stick to move the camera up, it would just drag to point straight down.
Could not play because of that issue.
It was too difficult in my opinion.
Collision of the player character was too big and it hit the spikes too easily. Also, the falling speed could be a bit slower so you would have more time to react to obstacles.
Didn't get to the part where you could change colours. :(
Looked really nice, but the gameplay felt a bit shallow. The idea of switching between the worlds was cool though and could be brought into a bigger concept.
