NOTE: Don't give a https:// link, the Unity Plugin won't load for some people (me).
I wish this had more, the flying was really satisfying.
This is close to what mine was going to be, but with you in the same world as a controllable character shooting them :P
I really liked the innovation with showing the places you have died. I was enjoying the game for a few minutes, but I fell through the floor and that broke the game. :(
Cool graphics and music! The gameplay was pretty repetitive (but fun), and I didn't know if it was building up to something or not. It would be a bit better if it got progressively harder.
I like the innovative idea of "manual tower defense". This makes the satisfying deaths of minions even more satisfying, as you are doing the clicking. If this was polished a little more, it could be great! Having to move the camera is a little annoying.
Nice Mario Bros knockoff. Not the most innovative, but you did a good job with it. I really liked the graphics style.
Really cool! I love the graphics style, and the simplicity.
However, the gameplay is really repetitive, and I wasn't sure if something was going to happen (a boss fight? I find an item?)
This was actually quite entertaining.
When I first opened it I had no idea how to play, but when I read the description I went back and enjoyed it.
I'm not really sure why I am on a ship with gorillas, or what that has to do with evolution...
Wow, really beautiful graphics!
I enjoyed the humor of this, but I couldn't beat the damn monkey.
Wow! This is very polished, very professional, and a great game overall. I really like the unique, easy-to-learn, hard-to-actually-figure-out puzzle system, and the soothing piano noises. It also looks great.
I was having a lot of fun for 10 minutes, hit escape to pause, and it quit :( I guess that's a good thing so I didn't spend forever playing it :P
This was pretty humorous, and I learned I actually don't know anything about pokemon.
I really enjoy games like this, and you made it look really nice.
However, it isn't the most innovative, and I'm not sure how it relates to evolution.
I understood what was going on, and it was still too hard to figure out what would happen. It seems like it is easier to guess the solution than think.
And if I didn't know what Game of Life was, I would have no idea what this was.
Excellent! Not only was this beautiful (both sound and graphics), but it embraced the evolution thing by having you breed stuff. It was also super innovative.
I couldn't figure out the controls at first, but once I understood it, I loved it. Good job!
It took me a while to figure out what was happening, but after I figured it out it was oddly satisfying.
Awesome audio, interesting idea. The explosions were decently entertaining, and the weapons were fun to use.
However, the gameplay was way too easy and repetitive, though. If there were a lot more enemies coming at me, and different kinds, this would have been really exciting.
Overall, this was a great start to a game, but it would need just a bit more work to be fun.
Awesome! I'm really impressed that you had it so polished in such a short amount of time. I could hack the server, but that only enhances my experience :P
One tiny-ass detail is that the spikes didn't have enough visual contrast, so they were hard to avoid while moving quickly.
The graphics felt sluggish, and the framerate was pretty choppy, which got annoying. Also, the enemies didn't even move, so it was super easy. i got all the carrots and shot a few robots, and nothing happened.
I really did like the graphics style though, and the notes and opening "where am I" put a really good mood to it.
I'm really impressed. This was fun, and I like that it was simple.
I would love to see a full-featured game like this (with online multiplayer, more weapons, more enemies, etc).
This seemed pretty limited because there was only 1 kind of enemy, so as it wasn't getting harder it wasn't engaging. Also, turrets are OP.
But other than those complaints, this was genuinely fun and unique, good job.
Sadly, most people won't be able to play this as it requires 2 people. It would be nice to have an AI to play against (but I know that's a lot more work).
From what I played, I noticed the UI doesn't really give enough feedback. This means you should show that a click has done something. For example, when you pick up the pieces, you don't really know if clicking on it did anything.
I liked the simplicity and fast pace. However, I wiah there was a little more indication of what was going on (I didn't know why my workers would just suddenly stop). Also, I couldn't figure out how to attack.
This would have fit better for the last theme (Tiny World). However, I enjoyed the simple gameplay, and the satisfaction of watching my town earn money. I couldn't solve it and get 20 research, but I did have millions.
Overall, this was pretty entertaining. I solved most of the puzzles, and there was a good level of challenge. However, there were a few minor annoyances, such as the mouse smoothing making the cursor feel sluggish, and the pieces resetting after you played the level.
Awesome music, and awesome idea, but it was a little too hard, and it would have been nicer to have more things explained (e.g. the stats of the different units, and towers).
What I could do was a good start, but I think the downfall of this is the lack of intuition. I could put stuff in the ground, but it would disappear when it got hit. You either need simple instructions, or redesign to act as people expect.
