Might've been more interesting if there wasn't mutagens that had a direct impact on the little guys, but this was very well done. Personally, I think this and Evoland are the two best games out of Ludum Dare this year. Also, seizure warning towards the later parts.
Really cool game, man. Kinda harsh sound effects, especially the "I got the fish in the fish goal" one, but that's really it, this is pretty awesome.
By darker squares do you mean the green ones in the center? Cause if you are they heal And I totally never explain that anywhere.
I couldn't figure the very first part out :( I was holding the mouse button on the blue pad and I was sliding forward then nothing else happened.
don't really see where the theme is, but it's kinda fun trying to figure out how to get a little further. also wish there was maybe just a little less clicking ;)
this was enjoyable until i ran out of gold, i had a huge fortress and then went to buy a farm without thinking and was completely stuck.
i like how the window re-sizes when you lose

it just crashes for me :( i really wanted to play this to, it looks awesome

yo i gave up at first when as soon as i started playing, i didn't get the controls at all, but then i read the comments and people liked it, so i gave it another shot and i get it now. its cool how you can strafe an enemy just by holding one button down, i really wish there was more to do in this game, maybe a big level to explore and such.

this is a really good game, I keep dying on the first boss :/
i didn't know what i was supposed to do at first and after shooting him a few times and nothing happening i though maybe i needed to touch it, which obviously ended up with me taking a bunch of damage. i died then.
then i was playing and something happened and i accidentally ran into it with full health and i heard the taking damage noise play like 10 times over each other and i died.
i dig this game a lot, i'd love to see a fuller version of this!
i really enjoyed this, i love the big level to go around in. i plan on keeping this around and finishing it.
i loved the pictures you had for all the stores, really captured a thing for me for some reason.
nice music, i stopped shooting just to hear it better :)
it's a little bit buggy, cause you can walk outside of the map or something and it's kinda no fun to break a box and walk into it only to find that something kills you. maybe if you broke the box but remained in place? then you could move into the square, it just feels a bit unfair the way it is now. if that's whats going on, but other than that it's a fun little game. good job!

cute little game :) I got to around level 7 and then died from something, not sure what of though, non of the enemies were touching me.
i started walking then i collided with that first dude you see and the whole game got hung up. not sure what happened
very peculiar game. i got stuck on the big boss though, I couldn't figure out how to get the marble in the cup to fall before i died, then when i got back there again the marble was gone.
