Very intuitive after the first fire! This is a pretty neat little disaster management sim. :D
I didn't understand the controls, but I was laughing at my ineptitude.
"DANGER....DANGER.....DANGER"
That was hard, in a good way! Several people did the "change color of the map" concept, but this was the best implementation I saw.
Controls were a little floatier on the way down than I would have liked.
Freakkkkky! Love it :)
Oh my, that was perfect. Love the intro, the premise, and the gameplay. 93 points, yo!
One of the more unique mechanics I've played for LD48! Given more time I'd love to see other types of puzzle developed in this framework.
This is my favorite game of this whole Ludum Dare. Not even an exaggeration.
I beg you, develop more minigames for it and release on Steam. My friends would burn an effigy of Mario Party if we could have something this dapper.
Very polished controls, nice graphics. Pretty neat. :)
It wasn't entirely clear to me what was going on, but it looked cool while it was happening!
I wasn't expecting this depth of gameplay from the screenshots, but this is a genuinely *GOOD* concept. With some better assets this could really REALLY be a hit.
I'll try and re-upload the .zip file, caranha.
Hard to control, but that's the point. :) Very fun, I can see challenging my friends to beat my score in this.
The intro sets the mood so well, and the music is just great. Turns out I can't shoot vehicles (or *I* can't shoot well) and failed the second mission, but I love this! Would definitely like to see this further developed.
I honestly have never seen a Twine game incorporate graphics like this before. This is so well written, the animations work so well with it, and it all comes together so well. Bravo!
Screenshots unfortunately can't do this game justice. You really have to play it to see what's going on...but the point is being unable to see. :) You pick up the concept immediately without having to be told anything but "KILL HIM".
Short, sweet, and to the point. Great demonstration of a neat mechanic. :) I'd love to see it developed further!
And how great is that Magnet-chan character? ^_^
Wow, I *love* the mood you set. Stroke of brilliance, draining color from the objects you interact with.
Brought back memories of the old arcade Asteroid game!
Old-school, I love it!
Wish I had a gamepad here at work to play with... :)
Nice work for the short amount of time! I did find myself missing a soundtrack, but my Demon Hunter playing in the background took care of that.
Nifty little game! Would have liked some music though.
Nice graphics! The audio was killer, too. I actually couldn't figure out what to do after the gun that knocks you back, but I could tell this is a quality engine. The screenshots of later areas look promising.
I can't breathe. Hahahahahahaha
Nice callback to Wolfenstein! I got pretty good at the controls by the end. ;)
Love the art and premise! Hehehe
Just thoroughly entertaining, couldn't wipe the smile from my face. :D
Brilliant! 8/20...
Great game! Nifty graphics, no messing around with a backstory. Just a few quick lines and you're playing. Would have loved sound.
Yes! I'm always a sucker for "Santa's Revenge" games.
Loved it a lot! Would have loved it even more with different jump physics, but this is a really great concept and I didn't have much trouble moving around.
SICK music! A shocking number of people didn't have any music, so a groove this fine was very welcome.
Fun to play too...but the MUSIC. :)
Just brilliant. No complaints!
After a couple minutes I got the hang of it. Very nice!
"A visual feast!" - The Chicago Tribune
Love all the little systems! That's great.
I couldn't get past the first level. >.< Maybe I need more sleep...
Awesome art, music, etc! Really good.
Oooo I like this one. Reminds me a bit of Nidhogg.
Loud! But once I turned down the volume (may have been my fault) it was a strange trip. :P
5 stars for audio and humor; I died laughing.
Amazingly complex for a 48 hour title. Great work!
I thought it was going to be lame after the first two rounds.
NOPE.
I can't make it past 10. This is hard! But at the same time it didn't feel unfair. Excellent concept! With some more polish it could be a pretty addicting mobile game.
Awesome!
I had a hard time figuring out what to do, but once I did it's pretty fun!
One of the better looking entries! Love the music. :D
Great choice to make the threats stand out both from the backgrounds *and* the other type. It makes it easier to use peripheral vision. :) One of the better entries I've played.
DragonMaster, try http:/nuclearnapalm.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Beginning_Win_by_NuclearNapalm.rar
Insanely hard! Reminds me of Thomas Was Alone and VVVVVV. Honestly man, keep working on this one. I had a blast with the first three levels but didn't have time to keep playing. :)
I can't seem to play it.
Top-notch. I cannot even...
I'm crying at the beauty.
Wow, I'm addicted.
Innnnteresting....
I got pretty far :) Unique idea, though I don't know that it fit the theme very well.
I'm terrible at this game, through no fault of the dev. It takes a while to get used to the controls! I have a feeling this could be adapted to fit multiplayer well.
Very awesome effects and story "delivery" polish. The jumping and movement could have definitely used some work, but the base concept is pretty decent. :)
Music, graphics, and humor were great! High marks for those. :)
It was a bit easier than I expected, but still great. If the weapon had a tad less spread I'd have been forced to move around more. :) Art and music (and that moving background) were all so well polished.
Good job!
Took me a couple tries to figure out why I kept dying, because I forgot to read the instructions. :) Very clever, perfect difficulty! This is a really good one. You did good!
Yeah, sorry about that bug. >.< I couldn't fix it in time, but I think it's a state machine glitch where it thinks it's still on a wall.
Very cool!!!
I like the idea of a constantly-evolving weapon. I agree with the suggestion of aiming with the mouse, that would have improved the controls a little. It was still very workable and I was able to beat it. Good job. :)
Your comments on the Dust Bunny game were a little mean. Just needed to say something about that.
The people who are saying it's hard to understand are crazy, it's not hard at all to figure out if you actually try. :)
Lack of a defeat condition makes this a little too easy, but the concept is neat and with some more mechanical complexity I could see it being a cool multiplayer game.
Three hours, dang. Good job!
That's too kind. You should not have.
I'm dead serious.
Oooooo this is good.
