Hey I know you! Cool game, I love the music and I especially like the death quotes. After escaping the initial burst, though, it seems like some of the asteroids stop spawning and you can get pretty far away from the sun. My only suggestion would be to make it a bit faster. Nice job!

bloodjohn 2014-08-25 05:36

Nice joke. :)

phasebeta 2014-08-25 05:36

Great concept. You took connected worlds quite literally and it turned out to be a pretty legit game :)

the-colonel 2014-08-25 05:38

I love it, absolutely fantastic!
However, it seems one can break the game by just pushing Terra ahead, since it will push everything out of the way.
Still great though, especially good job on the music!

the-colonel 2014-08-25 05:39

Also love the Marx quote

ninjascript 2014-08-25 05:41

Huge fan of the music, especially the way it screeches to a halt when you mess up. Bravo!

somepx 2014-08-25 06:31

OOooooo AAaaaaa - nice track, cosmic quotes. Well done!

rubna 2014-08-25 06:42

haha i loved how the music slows to a halt when you die xD very neat game!

donan 2014-08-25 07:05

Hahahaha. I like the idea of the phrases when you die. Nice take on the theme too xD

hypnohustla 2014-08-25 07:06

Simple take on the theme results in a pretty fun game. :) The music was great and the quotes were a nice touch!

cad 2014-08-25 07:11

My only complaint is that it's a tad too easy, though the concept is actually quite interesting and fits the theme well. Nice work!

joshk 2014-08-25 07:13

I liked it :)

Controls didn´t work anymore after the game was in the background, but that might be a Unity Webplayer problem.

brethudson 2014-08-25 07:23

Pretty simple, but cool concept! I found a simple solution to stay alive forever, but a way to work around it would be to give the player a goal to move towards. Other than that, fun little game!

gafblizzard 2014-08-25 07:25

Oddly soothing. I was expecting a very frustrating QWOP-like game and it wasn't!

thegamefather 2014-08-25 07:52

Interesting concept! And the background music is funny too :) But I found the angle of how the asteroids come is a bit wired...

synchingfeeling 2014-08-25 08:10

Wow, love the soundtrack

nonentheless 2014-08-25 08:18

Neat sound

techblogogy 2014-08-25 08:59

Just AMAZING!

bobrocks 2014-08-25 15:46

Interesting take on the theme. I think some progress markers would be nice, just to let the player know they are getting somewhere. I kept flying back to the sun to make sure it was still back there!

simonnaus 2014-08-25 16:31

Very nice! I got 01:03, is that a good time?

xrm0 2014-08-25 17:45

Nice music. The quotes are a great addition to the game.

0x0961h 2014-08-25 18:01

WAY TOO LITERAL, 11/10 IGN

For real, I'm still laughing on your theme usage. Great job. :D

local-minimum 2014-08-25 18:02

Really really nice entry. I didn't quite get what was the condition for chain-breakage. So maybe some indicator on the chain to show the forces. That would assist the player in learning to avoid breaking the chain.
Other than that, a really great beginnings on the audio (as far as I got to hear), as well as fantastic juice and visuals in being brought into the game.
The way the chain almost looks like those cheap plastic toy-chains just heightened the focus on its fragility in a nice way.

recursor 2014-08-25 19:19

The music isn't bad and the earth/moon take on the connected worlds theme is great. I like the quotes when you die but since the text is black, you can't see it unless you are near the sun. I haven't escaped yet but I'm still trying.

kadybat 2014-08-25 19:24

I really like this! The death quotes are a cool addition, the game is quite fun, the graphics are cute, and the interpretation of the theme is pretty spot-on. Would recommend!

perecil 2014-08-25 19:27

Very cool game, to bad that controls are tailored only for american keyboards :).

stridewide 2014-08-25 19:36

I love the chain-themed quotes at the end. Cool game.

budaniel 2014-08-25 19:39

I like this allot. Remembering which hand controlled which planet was tough for me, but doable. I like the visuals (especially the burn-up-in-the-sun effect), and the music is really nice.

sol_hsa 2014-08-25 19:45

Is it possible to lose? I kept going for a couple of minutes, the music restarted, felt like there's no challenge.. am I missing something?

arhpositive 2014-08-25 20:44

Pretty little game you've got here. Not much of a challenge but the simplicity is appealing.

doubstract 2014-08-25 22:16

I love those death messages. And idea of this game is superb!

sikosis 2014-08-26 01:51

Strangely addictive. Soundtrack compliments it very well.

thegamingproject 2014-08-26 05:03

Reminded me a lot of QWOP style games and the audio was pretty awesome, especially the slow down death effect.

zazery 2014-08-26 07:06

The death quotes are great. Once the sun leaves the screen it's a bit hard to tell how close it is. Also when you are running away you can't see that far in front of you either. The asteroids being attracted to the Earth was a nice surprise. Camera issues aside it's a nice game. Also nice music!

spotco 2014-08-26 08:26

Made me laugh lol.
See what you did there.

erkberg 2014-08-26 12:13

A nice little game. I really liked the quotes and the music. The basic game idea would be a solid foundation for a coop game. One suggestion: A goal or an indicator of progress (like distance as sort of a highscore) would be nice. Good job overall!

empyrealhell 2014-08-27 03:29

There's nothing really bad about it, but it's not really pushing any boundaries. Reminds me of an old arcade game I used to play that was basically asteroids but 2 player with connected ships. A goal would be nice though.

paps 2014-08-27 04:23

Those damn asteroid! get lost already...
I last only 1min tops.
Nice use of the theme.
The longest quote fade to quickly so don't have the time to fully read them

stasss 2014-08-27 21:58

Interestng concept, but ithink game area should be bigger.

krisdevelopment 2014-08-28 18:59

Cool concept :p
The game is really fun, but you could work on the graphics.

jacklehamster 2014-08-30 03:31

Nice entry. The controls take some time to get used to, but afterwards it flows pretty well. A high score table would be a nice addition, I'd like to know how well other people do.

traumendes_madchen 2014-08-30 14:19

The game feels really epic with the soudntrack and the galaxy background, too bad I suck at this XD. It took me a while to figure what I had to do and I'm not even sure I succeeded =').
Otherwise, an interesting concept. A bit too short but interesting.

jimmypaulin 2014-08-30 15:18

One of my favourites so far! LOVE the soundtrack, really interesting mechanic and certainly nailed the theme - what's the backstory with the chains?! The quotes lift the entire experience, a great touch

wertle 2014-09-02 03:26

We played this two-player with one person controlling each world and it worked out really well! I wish the starscape was more noticeable to help me feel like I was moving when I got away from the sun. The chain physics looked great, though the collision was a little hard to predict at the ends near the planet. Nice job!

nickw 2014-09-02 03:29

Very nice little game with strong basic gameplay. I didn't get terribly far into it, but I did find the controls were interesting and the gravity added a lot to the mechanic. I especially like the physics on the chain, but the collision was rather unforgiving.

seconddimension 2014-09-03 19:45

Some really nice touches here: the music and the slow-down effect when you fail, the excellent death-quotes and the planet-connecting chain. Great stuff!

jupiter_hadley 2014-09-05 01:50

Very hard I included it in part 14 of my Ludum Dare 30 Compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/fQEfK1MQqVU

pythong 2014-09-08 08:31

nice game. scary thought what would happen if the sun really exploded o.O -.- :D

roguenoodle 2014-09-11 11:43

Not sure I missed this until now - really fun (and funny). The Two Chainz quote actually made me laugh. Audibly. This would be really fun on a gamepad with dual sticks, actually. Nice one!

klianc09 2014-09-12 19:39

My first run was pretty short: "So this is the ...intro? What is that timer doing there? Hmmmm... nice music. Aaaand I died in the sun." :D

Simple concept, that can also easily be played as a multiplayer game^^ My only gripe is, that apparently the meteroids only spawn on one side of the sun, just going to the other side prevented them from spawning.
